Greycloud

Morning... perhaps truly the most difficult part of the day. Waking from a pleasant sleep and having to get ready for daily duties. A massive bundle of grey fur was curled up in the Warrior's den, ears twitching as there was several waking movement, birds chirping and singing to notify the start of another day. Snorting a little, dissatisfied how her sleep was over, Greycloud uncurled her body to stretch out a bit. Large claws slipping out as she stretched her massive paws. Rolling over to her paws, she shook her body to rid of clinging moss before making her way outside. Feeling the sunlight on her fur, she stretched her mouth into a yawn, blinking away sleep from her blue eyes. Glancing around the growing bustle of camp as cats shared tongues and chattered, the large feline gave a soft grunt as she stretched out her body, finding a warm little spot to lie down. Seemingly uninterested in socializing. Placing her chin on her paws, she started to ponder what was in store today. Most likely some training for her new and first apprentice, Wildpaw. It was a surprise to be assigned a apprentice when Greycloud was quite the young warrior, but still, it was a honor. Perhaps it was because they were a bit opposites. Wildpaw seemed to be a bundle of energy, while Greycloud was in general relaxed and calm. Perhaps to help tone down the bouncy apprentice. Still, perhaps today she'll be assigned to border patrol. She could properly show the apprentice the territory. As she thought over plans, her fluffy tail lightly thumped against the ground, ears twitching in tune with her thoughts.

Ringtail

"Bah, it's too early." came a grumble of a old ginger tom with black, brown, and ginger rings on his fluffy tail. Old scars from battles long ago littering his body as he lumbered out of the Elder's Den. Ringtail blinked his mismatched eyes and gave a yawn, sitting down on his haunches as he observed the tribe's bustle with his good amber eye. It was nice seeing the young cats full of energy, ready to start the day. He remembered when he was just a young cat, waking up all bright eye and bushy tailed. Nowadays though, he mostly enjoyed sleeping in. But he wasn't as young as he used to be. Plus the perks of being a elder, he could do that if he so wished. Unless the Chieftain called a tribe meeting of course. Still, it got a little lonely being in the den by himself. But young ones don't have time to be hanging around old rusty bones.

Silverfish + Streamkit + Stonekit

Once the sun was up, it didn't take long for Stonekit to come whirling out of the Nursery, eagerly bouncing around before looking over back to the Nursery. Her purplish eyes full of excitement, obviously ready to start the day. "Come on Streamkit! Let's play Warrior! I'll be Stonesky! Chief of Wavetribe! You be Streamsky of Cloudtribe!" she chirped eagerly awaiting her sister to follow her.

Soon enough the grey shecat padded out and yawned, pouting a bit as her ears lowered. "Awe, but Stonekit! I'm always Cloudtribe! Why can't you be them this time?" she questioned, watching her littermate bounce around energetically.

"Well we don't have many others to play with and someone has to be the enemy! And I'm going to be the best warrior of the tribe! So that's that!" Stonekit replied, grinning and giving a amused purr.

Streamkit sighed but purred as she shook her head, crouching a little and wiggling her haunches. "Well.... if it's going to be like that... better be ready Stonesky!" she yowled before leaping and tackling her sister, taking her off guard and the two started to wrestle along the ground before speeding around the camp chasing one another.

Padding out of the Nursery, Silverfish watched her kits play and gave a soft purr. "Don't wander off too far you two! And keep out from under cats paws! I don't want to hear any incident on how you tripped a warrior!" she called, earning a quick 'Yes Mom!' before the kits continued their playing. The silver shecat smiled before looking to see Greycloud by herself, in which case the older shecat padded over and sat beside the much larger cat.

"Good morning Greycloud! It is a lovely morning isn't it?" Silverfish purred.

Greycloud opened her eyes and raised her head to look at Silverfish as the slender shecat approached. "It's alright." she answered simply, before scrunching up her nose as the silver shecat started cleaning her ears. "I'm not a apprentice anymore, Silverfish." she huffed a little.

"Well then perhaps you should take better care of your fur then." Silverfish purred in amusement, earning a roll of the eye from the young warrior but still, the large cat did give a soft purr.
@SgtEasy Right now the situation is very chaotic. Lots of husks and indoctrinated still prowl their space and their homeworlds are still in ruins after the Reaper attack. About half of the home population was killed in battle or processed and the Hegemony has basically stopped operating as a political entity outside of a surviving politician or two or odd military officer. Their entire way of life is in a state of flux and the race is being pulled into a dozen directions, whether it's toward returning to the old system, a complete reform, and everything in between. This will be elaborated upon further in the RP, but I'd love to see what you come up with for a Batarian character.

@Silver Fox Hmm interesting idea to make Phalanx a merc, though what would it do with credits?

Logically, nothing. It just has credits sitting around doing nothing xD probably give it away if someone asked.

But hey who knows, there may be a time Phalanx actually wants something.

@BlackSam3091

Now I'm just imagining the party picking Phalanx out of the gutter every Monday morning; after it has spent a weekend interfacing with shady private servers and installed copious amounts of illegal software into its system; and having to run a system cleanup on it before the mission xD

Comrade: Phalanx! How many times did I tell you to stay off of the Robots4U and Quari IN you networks?!

Phalanx: S-S-Syst...t-tem o-o-overload... C-c-cor-r-ruption 85.6668%.... L-l-lock u-u-up I-imminent... Scaling of satisfactory levels... 99999999.8% would attempt again

Hello everyone! Today marks the beginning of the IC of Warriors: Tribal! We actually got here, which is pretty neat, and we only have your continued support to thank for getting us this far. The first IC post will be uploaded at 12pm central (currently 10am central), and another IC post will be uploaded by @LetMeDoStuff later tonight to assign everyone their duties. However, you can all feel free to introduce your cats before the tasks are assigned, if you so desire. Please note that if you have a warrior cat and someone else has an apprentice under your warrior, you will need to collaborate with each other in some fashion for fulfilling tasks. This also goes for the Shaman and Shaman's apprentice, as well as the Koa and Koa's apprentice; though you don't have to collab every single post, we would still like to see you working together.

I know I keep thankin' you guys, and you might be gettin' a bit tired of it, but too bad - thanks again!!

Do we need to collab before Stuff's post? Or just free to individually post in case other cats wish to interact with the duo?
@BlackSam3091@MrDidact 4 to 5 try is the charm? XD

@Vashonn So wait-- the first IC post won't be uploaded for another 14 hours? :( I'll be asleep by then... It's 11am EST here.

It's 2 hours. It switches to PM at 12
@Silver Fox Being in the war and distinguishing itself would be enough, but it should be explicit in the sheet that Phalanx gained recognition for it and stood out uniquely for the Spectres to notice it.

Aye will try to find a way to word it in *wracks brain for answers*
@PrivateVentures I believe everything is in order with regards to our previous concerns and I see nothing majorly in need of an edit. Unless Sam has further words, I think you might be done with rewriting.

@The Spectre Shouldn't take too long for that.

@MechonRaptor You did a good job with the sheet, it was very in-depth and I really got a feel for the character. My one issue is that from what we understand, indentured servitude does not work that way. IIRC, indentured servants voluntarily sell themselves into servitude and are released after their contracts are up, and contract holders are barred from abusing them. A dubious practice to be sure, but it it's not quite as horrific as the ordeal your PC went through. Pure uncut slavery would be more common in other Terminus locations however, and Omega might be a good substitute for Illium. You could keep the exact same backstory otherwise. Sam might have more to say on the matter.

@Silver Fox The sheet looks mostly fine to me, I would just say a snippet should be added on how Phalanx would have come to the attention of the Spectres or any Citadel agency, it should have some kind of reputation or interaction for the Spectres to be motivated to tap Phalanx as an operative. Is it on Earth, helping with reconstruction? Is it part of some Geth contingent on the Citadel? If your intention was for Phalanx to be recognized for being helpful in the fighting, then it should be clear it gained recognition for that.

@AquaAzura I think you pretty much addressed everything we brought up. Sam has final word on accepting the sheet but you're definitely close if not already there.

I will ask no more Quarian characters are made, and I think having one more Krogan might be overkill.

I suppose I'm just having trouble finding a reason or way for that. But I'll try again tomorrow since being part of the war wasn't enough
@BlackSam3091@MrDidact Attempted to add more to see why it was chosen.

Edit: Honestly my mind a bit blank so yeah xD

Gethzilla!
@DarkFey I don't think the Geth/Quarian war was ever a big issue for the rest of the galaxy, as it was isolated.

Rather, it'd probably be the old quarian/geth war, subsequent isolation and final battle of ME1 that would turn public opinion of the lampheads into scary bogeymen!

I can just imagine the Geth being the favorite villain in countless in-universe movies & games in Mass Effect universe after that! xD

I imagine they were basically rumored as the scary boogeyman. As one would assume the Quarian's would of told some tales (probably not exactly the whole truth considering Shepard was the first to probably discover that heard what really happened) so of course they'd be geared toward the 'bad guy' way. That and being AI, then the whole Reaper thing happened.

They got some generations to help lighten their record. Their appearance alone probably would make people nervous.

(not as bad as a Krogan, but Geth seem more creepy while Krogan you just know it could flatten you if you piss it off)
