Another Pitch

Basically Supernatural with a different storyline than Jack the nephilim.

I've always been interested in doing a nephilim storyline. I was thinking of siblings that were produced by a lower-tier angel than Lucifer, like Balthazar for example. When they were young, the angel that fathered/mothered them somehow removed their grace or suppressed it with a spell. They grew up to be hunters when their mother was killed by demons, and are almost as equally talented as the Winchesters themselves.

I was thinking it would take place during a fight between the angels, and both sides are looking for nepilim to use against the other. There's no right or wrong side, but the angels have different beliefs in how they should work/who should lead them. God has disappeared with Amara, but there’s no lack of angels like in the series. Somehow the nephilim tracking spell has been unearthed, and all signs are leading towards the siblings we'd be playing. There is a way to regain their nephilim status, if they choose to or are forced to take that path.

It could be canonical with the Winchesters involved, or be a completely different storyline. Especially now that the final season of Supernatural is almost upon us. We could each play a sibling, and the NPC's would be the angels, monsters they face, demons, or even the Winchesters if you'd like to include them.

I've been roleplaying since long before the fall of OldGuild and I'm hoping to find someone looking for a long-time, interesting 1x1. Below are a few rough pitches or ideas that I'm hoping someone will find interesting. I'm mainly looking for someone open to playing one or two main characters of either gender and other NPC's as we each develop the plot and settings of the RP. Hell, if you have any ideas similar to mine I'd love to hear them. I'm basically just craving something that can be just as dark as it is light. Hoping we could each post about once or twice a week with a minimum of two paragraphs per post normally. Slide into those PM's if you're interested.

Rising Tide

Rising Tide

50 years after a devastating world war, a resistance group known as the Rising Tide has been gaining support as the government tightens it's grip on the country. The line between insanely rich and utterly poor grows larger each day. Dissenters of the government are quickly silenced with aggression and sent to the colonies, where they work until they prove themselves worthy of the government's forgiveness or die in the radioactive wastelands. A month ago the Rising Tide successfully completed an attack on a military transport carrying important documents and a large supply of food. No civilians or members of the military were killed; a rule that the Rising Tide adheres to. The government is furiously searching for anyone involved with the resistance, calling them terrorists and other nasty words. So far, the government has found a few leads, but otherwise the Rising Tide is nothing but a whisper in the words of the people.

Twelve hours ago, another strike was made by the Rising Tide on a train transport carrying food and weapons towards the capital, Eden. Unfortunately, the train was well guarded. The group narrowly escaped with half of the supplies, but a few operatives were captured in the midst of it. One operative in particular was key to the success of the mission, but was captured in their efforts to help the group escape.

Synopsis

Despite the rough description of what the RP will be, the plot would basically be that we each play characters in the resistance and the government. My main character has recently been captured and will be submit to interrogation by an officer, one of your characters, intent on finding the Rising Tide’s base of actions. The government still doesn’t know how large the resistance is, and is currently preparing for a war against a neighboring country. It’s unknown if the neighboring country has been helping the Rising Tide or not. Guess you’ll have to find out.

Undeveloped Plot Ideas

- Avatar: Last Airbender and Legend of Korra based RP but set during the time in which Korra has just died, and our characters would be moderate level benders that find themselves in the midst of an equalist uprising. Other issues will arise as well.

- Space-Based RP involving a corrupt galactic government, slave-traders, and a group of travelers named Mauraders facing off against whatever the encounter.

- Rick and Morty type shit

- Darker Than Black based story, with contracters and dolls.

- Jessica Jones-ish with a Kilgrave that furiously moved cities and has found a new herione to obsess over
