Just found out my left kidney wasn't done and decided I needed to deal with a second stone before I even passed the first one.

Kidney stone blocking the ureter...yay...thankfully only 4mm so it don't need surgery, just some meds. But that pain I felt is certainly not an ideal way to wake up.

I only use my phone to look at posts and chat in the OOC.
Hey guys, I'm still here! My phone can be a hotspot but I wasn't sure it would work because it didn't last time. Hail to the glorious phone!

Brenna

The mission seemed pretty simple. Eliminate any enemy presence, then lay mines to interdict any armored movement. Brenna felt pretty confident in their success, though she'd never show it. Doing her best to keep her stoic appearance, and attitude on the outside. She did turn her attention to the newcomers. One was from the disbanded fifth company, or so he said. The other had come from the army, and that made her curious as to why the army would send someone to the Militia, other than to take over this unit. Though with a rank similar to hers, it seemed highly improbable that would be true.

Celeste

Celeste just stared at the map as the briefing went on. She was listening to the plan, but wondering what they would encounter upon arrival. And then any armor their mines might interdict. It seemed pretty easy to her anyway, even if she wouldn't be able to do much in terms of helping the squad. She didn't look too confident, but that was related to confidence in her own abilities. Celeste actually felt rather confident in the abilities of the others. Her attention focused first on the Sergeant, wondering what he was thinking, and what plan he was making. She also wondered if she'd be brought into that process.

Celeste shifted nervously a little, never really certain if any plan she'd make would be a good one or if it would get those in the squad killed. But then her attention shifted to the newcomers. The one from fifth didn't grab her attention for very long, but the army one. Wondering if he was legitimately sent here as a new soldier for the squad, or someone acting as a new soldier to see a militia squads effectiveness on the battlefield.

Lynette

Lynette looked over the map of the area. The terrain seemed favorable for the vehicle, sadly they were only allowed to field test one. The other finished one would be allowed to fight if these tests went well. But it wasn't long before she was approached, by the man who was to be commanding the tank. Informing her that they were ready to being the field testing. "Understood. And I will be staying, I'd like to see it's performance." She turned to look at him, her face expressionless. "You will put it through it's paces won't you?"

Adrianna frowned a little "He was my boyfriend. We dated for some years, he was the helpful type. He helped me when I first arrived, and continued to help me afterwards." She flicked the ash off the end of the cigarette, then took another drag. "He wanted to come back some day and help these kids, but he never got too. I wouldn't feel right if I didn't do what he wanted, and only mourned his death. Let alone repay all the help he gave me over the years."

Sam didn't get to respond to the girl as she quickly volunteered to demonstrate next. She spotted her sister off to the side, watching and waiting for the next demonstration.
@Remipa Awesome
"Well, I haven't been here as long as you're thinking. Came here when I was about ten, stayed a whole ten years. Found a job, moved out and found a place to live. Didn't come back for about eleven-ish years, not to stay anyway. Visited once or twice a year." Adrianna brought the lighter up to the cigarette and lit it, taking a drag before exhaling "Then about a year ago, I figured it would we worth it to repay the orphanage and him to help for a few years."

@Willow Breeze
"My name's Samantha, or Sam for short. You can call me either." Sam looked back at Jess briefly. Sam noticed Jess's skin wasn't too far off in tone from her own skin.
@Willow Breeze
Sam waved towards the gym "Follow me then. And please close the door" She waited for the girl to come inside and close the door. "You look nervous. Don't worry, you're at the right orphanage."

@Remipa Awesome
"Don't worry about it kid. Well all get distracted." Adrianna jabbed him with her elbow "So, what you think about all the new kids? Seems like we're going to be busier than ever." She was trying to cheer him up some, though she would admit she wasn't the best at it.
@Remipa Awesome
Adrianna was surprised a bit by the tale. But she just smacked the bottom of the cigarette carton. "Don't get too loud, some of these kids may have sensitive hearing." She opened the carton and pulled a cigarette out and placed it between her lips "Wanna come outside? Haven't smoked yet today." She stood up, motioning in the direction of the back door.

@Willow Breeze
Sam heard someone calling out. Probably from the front. She walks to the front to see someone standing there, female by the looks. "Hi" She sounded like she didn't have much energy left. Sam stood there, her arms just handing at her side. "You here to stay?" She waited for an answer.
@KatherinWinter
"I'll do my best not to" She took the cards and first let them hover around her, then made one orbit her. But she quickly took hold of that orbiting card after it did one orbit, and slotted it between her index and middle finger. She quickly tossed it into the ground where it embedded itself. Elizabeth bent down and pulled it out, it looked slightly damaged, one of the corners had crumpled. "I can manipulate cards if it wasn't obvious" She did a bow "And the names Elizabeth."

Once Elizabeth was done with her little demonstration, she grabbed the cards and handed them back to Vlad. Then sat back down.

"Well, it had to be something crazy to make you fake your death. I just have to buy a new carton every few days, and more lighter fluid every few months." Adrianna looked at her little disappointment "I don't gotta fake my death for these things, so what you did is more severe than what I do."
