I don't even know the answer to that, myself. All I know, is that when Shinji was at his worst. When his world came crumbling down... I was born. I am so much more than he could ever be. Without chains of morality and responsibility holding me back. He could do so, so much more, if he'd just let me out. Or.... you could open the door... you're welcome in.
