Strange indeed. They are typically really peaceful, too. Either way, they offer their spare energy to the EDB in exchange for protection. I'd say that's a pretty decent deal.

I keep it operating. It runs off of an old Eco-Core. They are essentially small planets that over generate energy, in which we siphon from to level it out. It doesn't use much energy, either. Very efficient.
