I will admit, you always seem to put your best foot forward with the EDB. But sometimes you think a little bit too much into it. The other governments aren't focused on us, and shinji's working a deal with the IA to establish trade routes between us and them, establish a good will. That'll work in our favor if we ever need a little extra firepower.

Considering the fact that he's delivered on over 95% of his promises from his election, I cant really say that the public hates him. Tbh, the only people that this looks bad to would be other governments, and us.

That’s the thing. It’s an awful look for a president to be MIA the way Shinji always is. He needs to focus on his own people.
Who's to say he isnt? The man eats, sleeps and lives EDB. Even when he's away, he constantly finds ways to stay in contact in some shape or form. Do you remember the last time he told you about being on a vacation?
