Yeah I tried at first to find some inspiration in SCP, but all of them were mindless creatures who basically just wanted to kill, so that couldn't have happened. I went to get inspiration from a game called Aragami, as well as adding a few powers from the SCP's. I'd say i'm pretty happy with how it turned out, but the real problem now is how to get Keith into the story, that'll take a bit of imagination. How have some people entered the story in the past maybe I could draw inspiration from them.

Some have been involved in the lives of others (or one of those "enemy of a friend" things). Others have been in the same place at the same time, and others have been random. One of the best ways is a shared interest in a particular thing or place, which allows them to interact.

This guy took way to long to think up, but I think he might be worth it. Also sorry if it's a bit edgy, with his type of ability it's hard not to be. Also quick note, I really like the fact that the biography and personality sections weren't needed because in this character I think I wanna make up the character as I go and as I get a feel for him. I am also willing to negotiate and change everything. Also let me know if it's to short or if I need to add anything.

Abilities

Keith's ability is to control shadow, he himself was a being born of shadow. The darker the area he is in, the more powerful his abilities become. The measure of this strength is called his Shadow Strength(Imaginative I know). He also only has a limited capacity for power, so he can't use his powers all at once. The cap on this is determined by his Shadow Strength. The capacity is also sapped by powerful light sources, to the point where he can't do anything until returned to the shadows. His techniques are varied, and he could be inspired by others to manipulate the dark in various ways, but the only ones he knows now are:

• Shadow Leap: Pretty self explanatory, can teleport to a shadow, distance is defined by Shadow Strength
• Shadow Creation: Again, self explanatory, can create a shadow and has the same properties as any other, size is defined by S S
• Shadow Consumption: Can engulf any item in shadow and can retrieve said item at will. An infinite volume of items can be stored, the size of an item able to be engulfed and stored is determined by S S. To clarify, if his S S goes below the required amount needed to hold the item, it will be returned to the area it was consumed at.
• Kunai: Summon a Kunai made of shadow. Damage inflicted, size, and frequency they can be summoned at is determined by S S
• Vortex: A trap that can be put on any surface, and explodes on command. Distance it can be set and moved away from Keith as well as radius and damage of the explosion is determined by, again, S S
• Everyone has darkness within: Able to briefly take control of a living entity. Distance, length, and maximum power the entity can be is determined by S S
• Shadow Invisibility: Can briefly become consumed in shadow and turn invisible. Can only be done while in a shadow or near one, and the length of invisibility is determined by shadow strength.

Some examples of the extremes on both ends could be: a small kunai that can barely get through the skin of a normal human and can only be summoned once every 30 seconds. On the other, if he were for example in deep space or near a black hole he could, consume the entirety of earth into his storage and then put it in the middle of another galaxy.
