Hey, I like your princeXcommoner pairing. I would like to incorporate it with a world I wanted to develop. Also, would you be okay with potentially multiple princes going after your character in a reverse harem sort of way (though not all of them with the best intentions)?

A short explanation of the world I wanted to incorporated: much of modern science is attributed to the work of Western/European thinkers, but history shows that they were greatly influenced by the Middle Eastern/Muslim alchemists. History also shows that alchemy essentially originated in ancient China.

My world is a medieval China-like empire where alchemy has been taken too far. The emperor established his reign by delving into alchemy, first by creating human-animal hybrids to be used as soldiers which won his empire tremendous gains in territory (Chimera). Then he discovered many things to promote quality of life, seeking ever to find true immortality. Along the way, he learned how to enhance humans (Enhanced), how to create human-life from scratch (Homunculus), and how to create artificial intelligence (Automatons). Each name in a parentheses, plus a fifth, (Pure), representing unchanged humans, represent a faction vying for the imperial seat. The emperor has wives and/or heirs in each of these factions and has yet to name a successor. Alongside this are the military, nobility, and eunuchs trying to influence the succession in their favor.

When the outside world discovers them, the emperor decides that whoever among his heirs can build a bridge with the outside world will become the next emperor. Unfortunately, most of them interpret this as making your character their wife. Oh my.
@Stern Algorithm Point of contention: the body's ability to feel its own movement and physical location is known as proprioception or kinesthetic sense, and is actually considered to be separate from the touch sense (though they are connected, just subtly). I'm not clear on how Vedika has managed to lose hers.

I did not know that. I was basing it off of something that had happened to me once where my leg went numb and I fell. Let's say that she knows where her limbs are, but not being able to feel through them was disorienting enough for her to lose track of them for a moment. I didn't want to just make it so Vedika couldn't feel pain anymore because that's what's known as 'cursed with awesome' where a character's 'affliction' 'just so happens' to make them stronger, a perfect way to make an edgy but overpowered self-righteous Gary Stu. Let's say that metaphysically, her 'self' has retreated too deep into her mind, abandoning her extremities to a certain extent out of fear.
As Vedika continued to meditate, she couldn't help but overhear what was going on with Liam and Paulina. Cracking an eye open, she saw them checking out their swapped bodies. This sent a mild shiver down Vedika's spine; the thought of someone being inside you to that extent was existentially terrifying. As she was thinking this while trying to focus on her aura, a sudden blast of pain hit her, while a psychic wave knocked her onto her side, sprawling to the floor. But unlike the others who continued to experience the pain until Ashleigh put her bracelet back on, Vedika stopped feeling the pain almost as quickly as it hit. In fact, she stopped feeling entirely. Looking around, she saw Ashleigh and Alister, who seemed to be the source of the pain, given how all other bodies seemed to have blown away from them. In a hurry to see if Ashleigh was okay, Vedika scrambled to her feet only to crumple back to the floor in a heap. It didn't hurt, but she was sure she hadn't activated her aura. She tried to get up again, but fell down again.

What Vedika didn't realize was that humans relied on three senses for balance and spatial awareness: the inner ear for actual balance; vision for reference, context, and establishing the horizon; and finally, touch for feeling the actual ground and establishing the position of our limbs relative to our bodies. She had lost the third of these as a result of her "self's" terror at being invaded, first at the thought of Liam and Paulina switching bodies, then triggered by the sudden blast of invasive mental pain from Ashleigh.

Still sprawled on the ground, Vedika watched helplessly as Paulina went to pick up Ash. Vedika tried to get up once more, slowly this time, and finally came to the realization that she had no idea where her limbs were. She had to look at her arms and legs to make sure they were actually still there. Vedika finally settled on a sitting position. Wearing a blank smile, she simply looked around the room, optimistically hoping that the numbness was only temporary.

It wasn't.

"...help..." she said to no one in particular.
Bump, new craving!
@Shadow007 Haven't watch it.

@Stern Algorithm I'm not feeling up for a magical girl/boy rp.

Ok, no worries
Heya!

I noticed you have 'Madoka Magica' in your list of anime.

I've been hankering for a magical girl team-based RP. If you're interested, I would like to world-build with you, create a team of 4-6 magical girls (or boys!), figure out their theme and rules for powers, what enemies they're fighting, setting, etc. One 'twist' I would like to add is each magical person has a cute pet mentor. Not exactly a twist, you say? Well, what if that pet used to be human, or someone the magical person knew but doesn't recognize, and who, for various reasons, cannot reveal who they are or chooses not to?

Another twist we could go with is if it's the future with high tech scifi space travel and stuff, but the eldritch denizens of space make space travel difficult, and only cybernetically enhanced (sufficiently advanced science is indistinguishable from magic) children can stave off the alien madness.

I also wanted to point out that while I enjoyed Madoka Magica, it has unfortunately spawned a wave of 'dark magical girl' anime. While I'm all for drama and pain, I think it's become a little tiring (and very sexist) to see young girls suffer for our entertainment over and over again. It's not like classical magical girl anime didn't have drama and pain. A lighthearted anime can have as much depth as a 'dark and gritty' one. That said, if our RP heads in towards being dark, that's fine, I just don't want it to get to a point where we areally torturing our characters for some perverse enjoyment.

Sorry for getting a little political there. Anyways, let me know if you're interested and we can brainstorm.@DemonMiyu
Finally, she said "I don't think I am doing this right, Vivi"

Vedika opened an eye to look at Ashleigh; Vedika was terrible at not getting distracted during meditation. "I'm honestly not that great at it myself. I would say don't focus on me and what I'm doing, focus on yourself. You know, my mom once asked me if I knew where the center of the universe is. Nobody knows, and it's impossible to know, but we do know where the center of the observable universe is. You know where that is? It's the observer. Earth. Me. You. You are the center of your observable universe. No one else matters. Shut out everything and everyone else, only you exist." Vedika didn't know if that would help but she closed her eyes again, and instead of focusing on her aura, she actually tried to clear her mind and see if Ashleigh would be able to 'learn' from seeing that emptiness. If only Vedika were any good at clearing her mind.
Zhou Yu started becoming a little frustrated at being unable to get the door to open as Bruno and Supremo came to observe. Of course, Zhou Yu had no idea that he was currently in a universe where if the heroes needed a door opened, they merely had to shoot the control console, and that if they wanted the same door closed after passing through, they simply had to shoot the console on the other side. If he had known, he would have let Bruno go to town on the console.

Strutting over, Supremo looked down at what the Chinese man was pressing "Shall I smash this...or perhaps....I shall tear the doors down." Supremo offered, comingto the doors, knocking on it to figure how much force he'd need in order to open them.

“Crack it open a little if you can, please” Bondi would state, and would temporarily have to slip out of its skull at the door.

Zhou Yu took a step back. This newcomer seemed to have immense strength, so it wasn't implausible for him to tear through the door, or at least open it a Crack to let Bondi through. "I suppose it's worth a shot Mr. ...umm...what's your name? Mine's Zhou Yu," he introduced himself to Captain Supremo in a simpler manner than he was used to; it seemed everyone he had met so far had little interest or knowledge in titles.
Ashleigh was mortified at Jason's last words. How did he know she had been there, hovering outside? She glanced away, drifting closer to Vedika, wanting the familiarity of a friend. She very nearly turned and ran away again. But she know Paulina would come after her this time. Swallowing, she realized she had no idea what was going on in class, and she drifted towards Paulina, but she grabbed Vedika's hand.

At once, Vedika's emotions came into stark contrast, and Ashleigh let herself just concentrate on her emotions, which made it easier to not run away, but it was still a close call.

Vedika maybe couldn't empathize completely with Ashleigh, but being relied upon made her feel dependable, and knowing a bit of how Ashleigh's powers worked, Vedika held onto that emotion, hoping to instill Ash with a little confidence and assurance.

Spying Ashleigh and Jason’s return, alongside Vedika, Paulina smiled warmly and approached them. ”Hey. Do you think you’ll be okay? If it’s too much, I’m sure we could convince the teacher to let you use a different room.” Glancing at Vivi, she nodded gratefully. ”I gonna be seeing what Liam has in store for me, but I think the two of you partnering up would be a good idea. Vivi’s weird, but you know you can trust her. And I won’t be far away, okay? Vivi, why don’t you take her through your meditiation stuff?”

"Eh?" Vedika looked slightly befuddled. "S-sure!" Vedika had always been an energetic child, bouncing off the walls and running everywhere. To reign her in, Vedika's father had taught her meditation, though it was more like forced meditation, sitting her down and telling her to keep quiet and still. She wasn't the best at it, as it was incredibly difficult for her to clear her mind and she quickly became restless when sitting too still. However, it was probably good not only for Ashleigh, but for herself as well. Sitting on the floor, Vedika crossed her legs and simply clasped her hands on her knees, none of that thumb to forefinger stuff. She didn't force Ashleigh to join her, it helped to clear her mind if she relieved herself of expectations on the world. Vedika focused on herself, feeling her aura, ever-present. The last few times she had spent training her power, she had noticed what could only be described as her aura 'expanding'. She already knew that she could 'give it' to others temporarily to protect them, or 'inject' a bit of it to harm them, but this was different. In those other cases, it was more moving it from one place to another, displacement, rather than an actual increase in volume. What she felt now was an increase in volume, which was weird. She tried activating her aura, making herself indestructible, but that only caused it to shrink back to its 'default size'. She had to relax before it would start expanding again. She kept experimenting with it, letting it grow and shrink, playing with it like a kid trying to synchronize waves in a bathtub to make a big splash, but not quite getting it right, the waves diminishing every time the kid got out of sync.
