@Didgeridont I appreciate the concise response, to be honest that was a poorly worded question on my part. I picked out the word "collapsed" and thought the whole country went down, but that's likely due to my lack of knowledge and upkeep with most real world politics. I'm just a tad distracted reading up on your suggested references in a hope to better understand "the vision" of this world.

I'll likely have a character up by tonight, or at the very least I'll have much of it done.

On another note, is the world still using modern programming languages? Because frankly, I know absolutely nothing about actual programming, so this character will likely be a challenge for me. (Which is good, I like challenges.)

@Didgeridont On a note about the Soviet Collapse, and perhaps this will be a question that will help @Deaddrop. What has happened to Russia? Is it owned by another country or does it still self-govern somehow?

Also, as a heads up to anyone else, I'm likely going to be putting forth an application on my very own "Ed" (Cowboy Bebop throwback, aaaah nostalgia) but with about negative "Child Prodigy". I know that's a bit vague, but in a cyber world there must be the obligatory hacker. I will try to make the character interesting though.

@Rilla Sounds good to me but you're more than welcome to dues ex your character in thr convoy. Maybe as extra help as a rubble cleaer or scav. Whatever works for you mate.

Young Adult Demi-God Academy Roleplay

Hm. To put it simply I was thinking along the lines of fleshing out the school/academy with a higher population by including demi-children, or perhaps even full blooded students from other mystical species. There is much lore revolving around other creatures with the sort of abilities you're going for; There are giants who have an affinity with the elements, Nymphs and Satyrs attuned with nature, and so forth. Perhaps, if it wouldn't pollute your primary concept too much, it could be a school for the demi-gifted and mystical. I feel that if demi-gods exist, then so must the other creatures. But, if it's too far from the main point, I'll happily assume that all those other little creature kids go to a different school.

@Rilla Currently all remaining characters are with the convoy (which has gone to pure shit). There are no characters in Refuge which is why a post hasn't been made to show what's happening there (and there are things happening there.) Though, I was going to have to write a post anyways seeing as there is a character heading back there regardless. If you plan to start in Refuge, I'd like to make a post first so you have something to work with.

@Andreyich Also, I'm not sure if you're just playing it out from your character's perspective or if you missed a tidbit. It's not actually night time, it's the middle of the afternoon.. It just happens to look like night, for some reason.

@Rilla I'd say you humped the gun a bit by putting him in the characters tab, but I like him. Approved and accepted. Will he be with the convoy or, giving his limitations, starting in Refuge? If it's the latter I will write up a post describing events there.
