Braska shook in pain of the girl slapped his sore body and screamed out pervert. "wait...." He threw his arms up in front of himself, waving them back and forth followed by shaking his head. He couldn't blame the woman as she had never seen him before but, he had to stop such overreacting. The concern of a fiend hearing them was quite large in his head and only grew as he heard the grass around him rustle. Suddenly another individual jumped out of nowhere to protect the pink haired woman. This just wasn't his day at all or was it? The young lady's noble knight turned out to be Gippal, a very hurt Gippal at that.

"I wasn't doing anything. I was helping and she got startled." Braska sighed and dropped down to one knee, his ribs still pulsing, "You look like crap, Gippal." It was nice to see a familiar face among the trees and the screaming female. Pushing back to his feet, Braska just smiled at his friend. Gippal and Braska had been friends for a long time, growing up in Besaid together. Yuna and Paine had the most hilarious stories of the kids together. Braska could count on Gippal to get out of this situation together.

How strong is the guy that's fighting Sid? Since we are Luffy level during early arcs, trying not to make Sid go "full force" yet. Though I plan on Sid going to help Seth fight Bluebeard. HE'S MY PREY! Also protect the Mushy Man.

Final Fantasy X: The Final Atonement

Braska's eyes slowly opened to the blurry world around him, unable to grasp what had happened. He used his arms to push himself up, pain shooting through his body. The Kraken had truly did a number on him to which he hoped that the others were safe or at least less hurt then him. Warm blood trickled down his forehead and down the right side of his face. A headache accompanied by a sharp pain in his ribs caused Braska to stagger to his feet. "This was not how my day was supposed to go." Braska commented on the state of things as he finally made it to his feet. His eyes finally began to adjust themselves to the world around him before landing on the pink haired girl that laid only a few feet away from him.

"Holy crap."

Braska stumbled over to the young woman, noticing that he had seen her with Gippal and Nai earlier. "Hey. Are you okay?" He attempted to see if she would awake but to no avail. They couldn't stay here, wherever they were, and Braska didn't intend on leaving the poor woman by herself. Bending downward, the hero Braska lifted the girl into his arms despite the pain his body was feeling. "Sigh. Now to find a way to civilization. I think we might be in Kilika." He spoke to himself and started walking in which ever way he felt was the right one.

From the one of the taller buildings in Frux, Sid watched the events take place that lead to BlueBeard to speak up about the bounty on the man made of goo. Sid had not cared about anything else going on besides BlueBeard. He needed to take him down and prove himself to the world at large. Making a name for himself would ensure that World Government would take notice and so would other pirates. He could amass a crew strong enough to shatter the foundation of the very world and end the tyranny of the Marines. For now though Sid would stop the bounty of the goo man and fight back against BlueBeard. Sid jumped from the building like a hawk diving for it's food.

"Catfish DROPKICK!"

Water morphed around his leg in the shape of a giant catfish. Combined with the water based attack of Fishman Muay Thai Sid's flying kick connected with explosive fury against the face of one of the pirates. The pirate flew backwards into a group of the men that wanted to take the bounty that BlueBeard proposed. Sid landed behind the mushy man and stood as a wall between the mushy man and the individuals that wanted to take the bounty.

"You bastards aren't taking this bounty unless you get through me. I, Barbossa Sid, Son of the Strongest Fishman in the World, won't let you harm one hair on this man's head." Sid spoke confidently to everyone with a grin on his face.

"Get out of my w---" One of the pirates thought to walk forward and press Sid only to be met with a crushing elbow to the nose knocking the man to his butt.

"BLUEBEARD! I'LL BREAK YOU AND PROVE I'M THE SUPERIOR CAPTAIN! ANYONE WILLING TO HELP, I'LL MAKE YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE! JOIN MY CREW AND BECOME THE GREATEST CREW TO ROAM THE SEAS!" Sid pointed toward BlueBeard with his fist closed.
