Bio

I have been writing as a hobby for longer than you have been alive. I have been a regular member and roleplayer of no less than fourteen different online forums during that time (including the old RPG), five six eight of which no longer exist.

I was previously a regular on the Homestuck forums, but I became so sick of thread turnover there that I asked around and eventually found the Guild. Since joining, I have exclusively only participated in Advanced RPs. Before Mahz gave NRPs their own subforum, I used to be an NRP regular in the Advanced Subforum. I am a Guildfall survivor, and know/regularly write with a few others.

If you ask anybody who has written with me in previous RPs, they should tell you that I have a generally open schedule, I post regularly and in a timely fashion, and I never drop an RP once I join unless the thread dies. Some of them may tell you that I have extensive expertise within the realms of Biology, Psychology, and Physics, which I will make no effort to validate since there is no way I can provide hard proof of aforementioned alleged expertise to anybody over the internet (though I am happy to try and answer any questions you send my way).

My favorite fandom is the Myst franchise, which seemingly nobody other than me has ever heard of.

I was a Contest Moderator for the Writing Contests Subforum for just a little bit over two years. I wrote the Moderation Policy for that subforum and I ran a contest called the Twelve Labours; you can still go there and see all of them and the entries people wrote for them in the Contests Section and the Victory Archives.

I have been quadruple secret banned from the guild discord. That is not a joke.

GAAAH I wish I'd seen this when it was posted, I love iambic pentameter and a sonnet would be a refreshing challenge, but it's bedtime now and I work tomorrow. *sobs*

Once again, though, I'm never sure if objective midnight is EST, PST, or GMT. There really should be a label, especially for a thing this short. =P

Objective Midnight means 'Once it has been Midnight for the Entire World.'

So effectively GMT 12/-12.

I've got a couple of minor things but before that what are these fae based on? When searching the name the only thing I could find is an enemy from a fantasy video game.

In principle they are based off of Fauns and Glaistigs. In employing glamour the former is likely a common illusion for the purposes of misleading men, as diminutive and noble Fauns are likely to be faintly disarming on approach. However, as glamours amongst younger fae are often imperfect it is likely that traces of their true nature would corrupt the illusion, giving them an appearance closer to the latter. Their true form itself draws inspiration from the game you found. The idea is that the reality of their appearance is something few men would know of and be able to report, and is sufficiently distinct from their chosen disguises that men might instead decide that they were separate creatures entirely - like Krampus, for instance.
Going to start sending out PMs to a few of you on Monday. Expect great and terrible things.
Here is my first Fae Template. I would like some peer review and approval before finalizing my character drafts for the Blendecs. All are welcome to make additions or corrections to their historical significance as well as their Societal Standing.

It should be noted, I have taken some faint - but I feel not unreasonable - liberty with the lore in regard to their history with the Spring Court (their kind are permanently exiled from the Spring Court due to their abhorrence of Mimameith). Paging @Prince of Seraphs for their judgment on its validity.

Working on a second template now.
Also, since I don't yet have sidebar permissions, once again pinging @Terminal or @MDK to give us a sidebar thingy.

On it.

If you have any art you might want me to add, just ping me again.
The Eleventh Labour

...The divine ichor of the Herperide's apples was more than any mortal tongue could bear. Eurystheus found their pulp and rind dissolved to ashes amidst his mouth, no glory gained with the loss of their brilliance.
Euripides

Those of you who have completed this task - the brilliance of divinity is both beacon and warning at once. The light they cast is the slayer of reason, and naught but a wary few can bear to behold such glamour safely. You are hereby worthy of bearing the title...

Congratulations to the authors of the following stories:
The Breaking by @mdk
Starbound by @PlatinumSkink.
The Dragon Queen by @WiseDragonGirl.

Your stories have been added to The Twelve Labours Victory Archives, to which there will be a permanent link in my signature. In addition, your victory has been announced in both the News and Roleplaying Discussion Subforums!

Alas, another Labour - and another lost Challenge Accolade. None of the winning entries were deemed worthy of Exuvia Moira. I suppose I shall just put it with the others. Its loss, as promised before, shall be felt more greatly in the Final Hazard.
