Also known as “Taring Besi” in Bahasa, the Iron Fang is a small, spectral blade that’s shaped like a tiger’s fang. It’s capable of flying, gathering and channeling ki-energy, as well as cutting through hard metal. Raja possesses a pair of Iron Fangs, inherited to him by his great, late grandfather. With his thoughts, Raja can control the direction his Iron Fangs are heading, as well as calling them back into his grip. Once charged with ki-energy, they can transform into projectiles of various sizes and ranges, depending on the amount of energy being summoned. The Iron Fangs also feed on their user’s anger. The angrier their user gets, the deadlier and more explosive the projectiles they can construct.

- Ergokinesis – Raja is capable of summoning and manipulating ki-energy into powerful attacks. He can throw fire-laced physical strikes, as well as transforming his Iron Fangs into projectiles once hurled. When he slams and pierces either of the Iron Fangs through the ground, he can trigger an enormous wave of energy capable of erupting a mini quake. He can also create a minor explosion once one or both of the Iron Fangs stab through a target.
- Iron Strength – While armed with Iron Fangs—and depending on the amount of ki-energy being used and how furious he is—Raja’s strength increases to the point where he can pummel through a boulder and a hard metal.
- Iron Endurance – Raja is capable of enduring stiff, punishing attacks for a lengthy yet consecutive period. In addition, when charged with ki-energy, he can withstand serious injuries like gunshots and stabbing wounds for a longer amount of time. Granted, the energy charge doesn’t revert nor heal the injuries—just lessening the pain slightly.
- Tiger Instincts – Raja’s senses are sharp. He can sense a person from a fair distance through their scent or noises of their footsteps without having to give them a glance. He can even see and hear anything from a far distance, making him suitable for tracking tasks. His heightened senses also help him parry or evade an assault with much precision.
- Hand-to-Hand Combat – Raja is proficient in numerous martial arts disciplines, most notably kickboxing, cage-fighting, and silat.
- Weapons Expert – Raja is proficient in utilizing blades, most notably small knives. He knows several assassination techniques involving blades, as well as being capable of darting them towards his adversary with much precision.
- Animal Perception – Due to his experiences hunting and taming wild, ferocious animals, Raja can communicate with animals on a basic level, as well as understanding their feelings. He tends to communicate with them through eye contact and physical gestures.
At first glance, Raja might look intimidating due to his towering height and enormous figure, but in reality, he’s a gentle giant who cares for the people he respects and/or holds the closest to his heart. Raja rarely talks, preferring spending more time in solitude as dealing with a crowd full of people can gradually exhaust him. Blunt yet honest, he can often be mistaken for being unfriendly, refusing to tone down his words as long as he’s being truthful.
Raja is impatient and easy to anger—even the smallest of problems could fuel his fury—but as he grows older and wiser, he starts to learn to manage his emotions properly. Due to his ambitious and determined nature, Raja often finds himself pushing past his limits, often resulting to unforgiving physical exertions that not even the most capable of men could endure. He never shies away from giving others a helping hand, but can often be stingy when it comes to sharing his belongings, most notably food and money. Unless it’s close acquaintances or somebody who’s proven to be in dire need, he wouldn’t easily share anything in his possesions. This stingy trait is also applied when it comes to buying everyday needs. Raja tends to settle for affordable products with somewhat tolerable qualities rather than having to spend slightly more money for better products, even if he only has to spend a thousand more Rupiahs.
Raja was born to a warrior tribe residing in a secluded Sumatran island. Ever since he was a little boy, Raja had been taught to hunt and survive in the woods by the older tribesmen, demonstrating the ability to communicate and empathize with animals as well as learning how to utilize blades for hunting purposes. At the age of 13, his older brother introduced him to the world of martial arts, teaching him various fighting styles such as silat and kickboxing. He didn’t make his fighting debut until after he turned 15. While initially struggling, his physical advantages eventually carried him throughout his early days, helping him win fights after fights against fellow young tribesmen. By the time he was close to adulthood, Raja demonstrated his Noble Arm for the first time: the mystical pair of Iron Fangs that his great, late grandfather utilized to defeat and cast the Dutch occupants out of the island. It took him long to learn to control the inherited manifestation, and by the time he turned 20, he’d finally mastered it to near perfection.
Having challenged every fighter in the island, the young Raja decided to travel the nation in hopes of finding more competitions and putting his newly discovered Noble Arm to a test. Thanks to his enormous strength and years of experience, he dominated the underground cage-fighting scene throughout his 20s, often leaving his opponents bloodied and critically injured after their matches. His ferocious fighting style earned him the nickname “Harimau Sumatra”—or “The Sumatran Tiger” in English—as they compared the way he mauled his opponents to that of a tiger and its prey.
While he wasn’t competing, Raja worked as a performer for local circuses around Indonesia. Showcasing his Noble Arm manifestation to a wider audience, he mesmerized them through knife-throwing performances and magic tricks. One of his memorable performances was turning his Iron Fangs into soaring fireballs. Oftentimes, he was called to act as a beast-tamer, using his ability to communicate with animals to tame lions, tigers, and bears.
Eventually, Raja’s reputation as both a cage-fighter and a circus performer attracted the attention of Hammer of Masters. The moment he returned to his hometown, something unexpected took place—a tragedy, to be precise. A slaughter had taken place, the island demolished and every traditional house and place of worship burning to crisp. Thousands of tribesmen lost their lives that day, leaving only Raja as the sole survivor. Raja was furious, mourning as he failed to fight back the tears in his eyes. In the midst of the disastrous view, the Hammers surged, ambushing Raja while he was distracted. With all his strength, Raja retaliated, but it was to no avail. He was outnumbered, easily besieged by an army of fellow Noble Arm wielders. Once Raja could no longer fight, they brought his unconscious form with them, but not before wounding and blinding one of his eyes prior to knocking him out.
Since the slaughter took place, Raja was held captive by Hammer of Masters, forced to work as one of their troops. He traveled the globe with them, unwillingly participating in many of their heinous deeds. Initially, they tricked him into believing that the Downward Descent was the one responsible for the deaths of his people, promising to help him track them down. Little did they know, Raja had been hearing what some of the lower-ranked Hammers were discussing in their base while he wasn’t nearby, his heightened hearings helping him uncover the truth. Learning that the Hammers were the true culprit, and that they were merely using him for their terrorist acts, Raja began orchestrating an escape plan, waiting for the right moment to emerge.
Thankfully, his big moment came when the “Big Three” attacked and weakened the Hammer of Masters. After eliminating a number of Hammers blocking his path, Raja managed to escape the organization, spending the next couple of years living in the wilderness with an ambush of tigers. Eventually, he was discovered by a number of TFO officers guarding nearby the forest. Haunted by guilt, Raja decided to surrender, admitting his involvements with the Hammer of Masters. He was sentenced to years of imprisonment, but not before offering his service to the TFO out of remorse.
Fortunately for Raja, his tenure in prison didn’t take as long as decided, as he was released just a year ahead of the end of his sentence due to good behavior and willingness to cooperate. Eventually, in 2022, Raja was allowed to volunteer for the TFO, vowing to redeem himself for his past sins and defend the entirety of ASEAN from possible threats.
- When Raja turns one or both of his Iron Fangs into projectiles, he can still summon them back either after they connect with his intended target or fade into particles if the target is missed. Once either of the conditions is met, one or both of the hurled blades will be respawned in his hands.
