Maisy recoiled as Melchior's voice just about busted her eardrums with his...err..."commentary". Reeling back and shaking her head, Maisy barely regained her senses in time to stop the ball from hitting her in the nose with her hands. Holding the ball in the palms of her hands, Maisy looked to the student who asked for the ball and nodded, about to toss it back before Melchior's mic went off the hook with the volume, causing Maisy to completely misfire, he ball sailing well and above the other student's heads and sinking perfectly into the net on the other side of the court. Rubbing her ears and shutting her eyes, Maisy didn't even see the literal one in a million shot she made, the ball simply bouncing against the floor and rolling to the right.
"My ears..." she grumbled, pulling the hem of her hat over her ears and looking up at Melchior. "Hey, Mr. Melchior...I was looking to sign up for Acrobatics, and was told I could come here to do that." Maisy said, letting go of her hat and looked to the students asking for her and the other two guys who came in to join in on their game. Shrugging, Maisy said: "Well, I'm not a super great baller, but I'll do my best if you want me. Heck, it'll be good exercise too!" as she took her hat off, looking around for where she must have dropped the ball.
