Current @SaltSight Game was Astlibra: Revision. Found it on sale bundled with another game I've been wanting so I gave it a shot and got like, straight indie JRPG of the early 2000s injected into my veins.

Final Fantasy: Stranger in Paradise is the funniest shit I've ever seen while also not being a bad game. Just crack open some cold ones with the boys, blare Limp Bizket, and Kill Chaos.

"Long has there been the desire to tap into the Throne for use of its powers, of the familiar manifestations of the Heroic Spirits of ages gone by...yet we never expected such power to seek us out instead. Even if it was only for a fraction of a second so immeasurably small, an even smaller line in the sand was drawn dividing us from something...otherworldly. The incarnation of evil itself is at the door, peering in and gnashing its teeth in undulating desire to consume. To Connect. To Shatter as it has always done. Right now, the Holy Grail all Magus have sought after has manifested and sealed itself off in fear of this...beast. We've no means to defend ourselves, save for our final Countermeasure. And so, we plead to the Throne. Beg of it to spare us. And...it listened. A War wages for the Crown of Heroes, and here we have received the ephemeral shards of power that allow mere men and magus alike to stand against the impossible. Here...is where we stand, or we fall." -Director of the Muninn Anti-Servant Foundation, Matias Ansgar

In a world without a ritual to call forth the Christened Cup filled with Humanity's wishes and the blood of the truest saint, a corrupt force from beyond attempts to seize it for itself. To fill it with itself, and to plunge a new world into Staying Night forever with a single wish. Dirtied and drenched in the essence of something far darker than a devil, being known as Corrupted Servants have made their existence known to the hidden world of Magi. Kidnappings, murders, occult worship, crime rates spiking through the roof in the Japanese Port City of Junyo have made despair and madness fester in the city, only feeding these Servants of another world.

Now however, there stand the Masters; Humans who have by some form of luck, irony, or destiny come to possess the very same power these Heroic Spirits possess, harnessing them in the shadows of society to either right the wrongs dealt by Corrupted Servants, or just for their own personal gain. All have been observed by Muninn, and all have received invitation to their Organization, tasked with seeking out the source of the tear in Junyo, and putting an end to these Supernatural occurrences before the world comes to know of Magi and their craft.

Saber, Lancer, Archer, Rider, Assassin, Caster, Berserker, and Shielder; Whether the Masters who command the power of the cards succeed or fail will decide the fate of Junyo, and largely, the world. Even without a Holy Grail, we have a way. And we will cut our way through it.

Alrighty, since it seems that all the slots are filled, I'll get the OOC up on Friday. Glad to see that people took interest in this idea.
Caster has been reserved over PM, so all that remains is Shielder for any who are still interested.
Is it okay if I'm not overly familiar with Fate/Kaleid? I have a modest knowledge of Fate in general, but not so much this.

If I can, I'd like to reserve the Archer class.

Its perfectly fine. This isn't following the rules of Prisma all that closely, so you'll be okay with just basic fate knowledge.

In a world without a ritual to call forth the Christened Cup filled with Humanity's wishes and the blood of the truest saint, a corrupt force from beyond attempts to seize it for itself. To fill it with itself, and to plunge a new world into Staying Night forever with a single wish. Now, its just a matter of humans versus the impossible, with all the power in the world sealed in a bit of magic "cardboard".

So, since that probably didn't tell you anything at all about what this RP would be about, lemme put my pretentious goggles down to actually explain some shit!

To start with, this RP will be set in the setting of the Fate universe, albeit in a world parallel to those who've been established, since canon is finicky and all that. It follows some of the conventions of the Prisma Illya spin off series, featuring the "Class Cards" system, where you'll receive a single card representing the essence of a Heroic Spirit from History, or fiction. There are some stipulations here and there as to what can and cannot be used, but I'll go over those.

Basically, you will be playing the role of a person, either with or without magical experience that recieved a Class Card that fits their personality of the classes: Saber, Lancer, Archer, Rider, Assassin, Caster, Berserker, and Shielder. By possessing that Card, you gain the power to fight against the forces of an unseen evil from another world trying to mess your shit up and ruin everything. With the powers of a hero at your side, there's no way you can lose! Maybe. I dunno, depends on whether you do something dumb or not.

Also, if someone has already claimed a Class Affinity with their starting Card, you may not have a Class Card of that same type to start with. IE: No two Archer Affinity characters, barring NPCs.

Tafui was doing his best to help during the battle with the boars, although he was a bit afraid of catching Matsuko in the crossfire of his Nightbloom. Instead, he held Mountain Swallow out, a bolt of energy forming form the tip as he cast Sprite Bolt, then another, then another, the three converging on a single boar and taking them out. Turning to the...next...one...it was dead. Huh. Feeling kind of useless after only killing one boar, Tafui silently got to gutting, skinning, and cooking them as Cu Culinary materialized, humming as he grilled up several cuts of pork meat in a tomato sauce. His arms seemed to move at the speed of light once he was in the kitchen, also putting the bones into the smoker in order to make soup stock later.

After about 50 minutes, Tafui proudly presented Matsuko a platter of pork chops with a light tomato sauce drizzled on top, the meat glistening under the sauce. There was tons leftover, and thankfully RPG storage still worked, preserving the food for at least a while. "Tell me what you think, I haven't really done Boar in a while...hopefully we can get some mushrooms while we're out here." Tafui said, settling for his single porkchop. Egg Noddles were also available on the side, albeit not much.

Sitting down to eat, Tafui's cart was wafting the scent of delicious food all around, a partially conscious decision to try and lure more beasts out for their larder. And also half because he REALLY wanted those bones to be ready for a delicious soup.

Kaiki clenched his teeth as he stood, body throbbing from the impact and beating he'd gotten from the monsters trying to pull him inside. Looking at his belt, a small gauge near the top was about empty, maybe having about 10% left in it. "Held Rolling Thunder too long...dammit." he muttered to himself. He had, maybe one more regular finisher in him at best. He didn't have the luxury of running off to charge up either, on account of all the little ones spawning off the massive monster. Looking to Skullman, he took a deep breath, trying to remain as composed as possible. "I DID!" he yelled back, which was partly out of anger and partly out of sensibility given how high up Skullman was. "BARON GEIST BLEW IT THE HELL UP THOUGH!" he continued, remembering the Nirenger's climactic battle with their arch-nemesis...who in the long run, was actually kind of pathetic and had some thinly veiled motivation for taking over the world that made no real sense.

Regardless, Kaiki spotted an opportunity in the spike that Skullman created that was still dangling, taking a deep breath before cranking his belt once. "One shot at this..." he thought as electricity surged to his feet. "SPARK UP! 10, 100, 1000, 100,000,000!" his belt shouted, the Rider dashing past a handful of the small black ooze monsters, before using one as a springboard to launch himself off of its extended hand. Letting out a loud cry as he started RUNNING up the leg of the monster, Kaiki's energy reserves were rapidly dropping. Hands reached out to grasp at him, only to catch air as he gained speed from the extra mobility provided from his "Finisher" state. Leaping over the actual hand of the beast as it sought to swat him off, Kaiki's belt started beeping, showing that it was running out of juice quickly. 10 seconds...9 seconds...he had a mental clock going of exactly how much time he had left before his belt puttered out. At roughly 2 seconds left, Kaiki leapt to the neck and twisted his body, ready for his last second finish. Avoiding Skull, his foot made contact with his bone spike, seeking to drive it through all the way.

"RIDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER FLASH KIIIIIIICK!" he bellowed, his foot driving the spike through, to decapitate the beast. Its final cry as it started to die off wasn't heard to Kaiki as his form started to crumble, returning him to civilian form as he struggled to hang onto the remnants of the beast as it started to crumble itself, breathing heavily as he clung on for dear life. He loathed to admit it, but...he doubt he could have beaten the damn thing with Skull's help. However, now there was another problem...

Would the whole body die, or just deform into its smaller spawn?
