Hey, is this dead?

I suggest reading my last post above. But yes, this RP unfortunately is dead.

Azeal and Sora

"Zombies...Why did it have to be Zombies?" Azeal thought as he listened to the elder as he gave them their exercise, silently groaning at the thought of this scenario. It's not that he didn't "like" Zombies. But they were like a combination of cockroaches and rabbits, resilient and able to multiply at alarming rates of time...which made them a very annoying enemy to fight. There was also one other factor as he looked at the Reaper at his side, gripping the glove on one of his hands with his other hand. Looking at that, Azeal Raised his hand to get the Elder's attention.

"Scuse me boss, but I think the Reaper here either needs some kind of Handicap, or to not participate altogether." Azeal bluntly said.

"What? Why?" Sora asked, befuddled that Azeal would say this out of the blue like that.

"Cause its Zombies." Azeal simply said.

"But that's why I should be a part of this exercise. I am suppose to eliminate undead for-"

"Yeah, and that's exactly why you need to either hold back, or bail out. You can show off however you want when an actual occurance of Zombie outbreak occurs whenever you like. But it kinda nulls the whole point of this 'team' exercise when you hog the spotlight here. This sounds annoying enough as it is without the potential repeat. Much rather we get this over and done with the first time around." Azeal said to Sora, scratching the back of his head with an exhausted tone as he did. The annoynace he had could be heard in that groaning voice of his. Sora looked to the ground in dismay, before taking a deep breath and calming down.

"But as a Demon yourself, wouldn't you require a handicap as well?" Sora asked him.

"...Touche'. ...Alright. You lose the Scythe and keep your gloves on, and I'll keep fire inside. We'll do this the classic way." Azeal told him as he grabbed his gun from his holster and cocked it.

"Understood." Sora simply said.
Is everyone on their way upstairs except out alien?

That seems to be the case.

Azeal and Sora

The two listened to the Alien as he explained why he was here, before then notifying that to silence him if his speech was found to be annoying.

"Duly noted." Sora bluntly said to Plex. Azeal meanwhile listened to Cal's question to him.

"Hmm...Gut guzzler, and a very bad card player...Can't say I've heard of him, but it sounds like he's in Envy's circle of Hell. I'm from Wrath's circle of hell, the 8th. Demons from most circles don't usually interact with each other, preferring to keep to themselves in their respective circles. I was told that it wasn't like that before, that hell used to be completely united but...Let's just say something bad for us and good for this human world happened before I was born, that it broke us demons apart, and leave it at that." Azeal responded to the Skeleton.

Sora, meanwhile, then listened to Billy with a smile...Until he mentioned Cal.

"Oh...Well..."

"Ehhh, Reapers were created by Death to essentially find and eliminate the Undead, and you can't get more Undead than a Lich. The idea of finding and returning the undead and spirits back into the big boss' hands is hard-wired into the kid's soul, no different to the natural instinct of a beast, so it can't really be helped. In fact if Mr. Bones didn't have the BoSA's protection, Sora probably would have struck him down where he stood. In that regard, Cal's quite lucky Sora's the one overseeing this dimension. Like he said, Other, more elder, reapers would have cut him down by now without any regard for this Bureau." Azeal said in Sora's place, looking at him before then looking at Billy.

"Heh, I like your style kid. The Flattery's unneeded but appreciated as well. ...Just, do keep that bat as far away from me as possible. I don't bode well with Holy things." Azeal then said to Billy, after-which he then looked at Griffin, clearly in a shitty mood as he walked up towards the room they were suppose to go.

Sighing at this, he took his time following the group. Sora following suit as well.
@EchoicChamber

I'm currently in the process of making my CSes. But I feel I must inform you that they will take a while. X_X
@CollectorOfMyst Aight, sounds good.

@The Jest

1. The Blessed don't have powers themselves, but they can use magic by writing runes and such. Basically, the Runes can manifest magic internally and directly use magic without having to think too much about it, but regular humans like the Blessed have to write spells out, and learn about the runic alphabet in order to tap into that sort of external magic. A lot of Blessed rely on either rune-writing, or good old fashioned modern weaponry. c:

2. Specific positions? It depends on what the position is, I feel. I'm likely going to write for the leader of the Blessed (either via NPC or actual character), and some of the Blessed have specific roles like Head of X, so you're free to ask for a position as long as it isn't already taken or at the tippy top or anything.

3. Nah, I don't think so. They would just have to have had no knowledge that your character would suddenly be in possession of Algiz after its current user dies.

I see, I see. Good stuff to know. I have an idea to what my character for that is then, I just need to figure out what position to put him in, something involving combat, defensive or offensive, would be nice.
@The Jest When a Rune user dies, the rune suddenly appears on the new person, and the person abruptly finds themselves with the powers corresponding to that rune. So with Algiz, for instance, it's likely they might suddenly accidentally manifest a shield out of nowhere. c:

I see, I see...Now onto the the next question, well, a group of three questions regarding the Blessed.

1. Are the Blessed allowed powers of any particular kind?

2. Are there any specific positions still available?

3. Would it be considered an ass-pull if my Blessed character Just so happens to be the Father of my Algiz user?
That being said, I would like to thank @CollectorofMyst for doing so, because it gave me a reason to look up my rune.

Upon discovering what the rune is about...Now I have no question who I'm using now.

Though I can tell that It's gonna be a while before I'm done reading the IC. For convenience sake, I have to ask:

What exactly happens to the Rune when its user dies? Does it simply fly off the body into its next choice?

@EchoicChamber
@The Jest Mmmm, that makes sense. I appreciate it regardless, though, as it shows that you're putting a lot of thought into the roleplay. c:
Considering that Skadi seems to be a fairly prominent figure in Norse mythology, I would say that I'd prefer for you to stick with Surtr for now, and then later on in plot, if we need a Skadi, you'll likely be one of my first candidates for the role. Would that be alright?

Honestly, I'm somewhat surprise I get even that much. I'll gladly take that offer. ^_^
@The Jest I appreciate your brushing up on what's been going on so far. :D

And Skadi? Would you mind giving me some info on her real quick? I have a general knowledge of some Norse lore, but I still don't know some of the figures in it, haha. ^^;

I don't like making things awkward by walking in without any knowledge. Especially given that my character is coming in late in the game, replacing a character that seemed..."active" for lack of a better word, and is likely to be an inversed version of her as far as personality is concerned. (Both have an inferiority complex, incidentally brought on by being in the shadow of a better patriarch, yet another creepy coincidence, but my version takes the inferiority....differently.)

From what I understand, Skadi or "Skaði" is a Female Ice Jotun associated with Winter, Mountains, and The hunt, essentially making her Surtr's polar opposite in a way. She married god by the name of "Njörður" one time, and by extension became the Stepmother of Freyr and Freya.

Now I've been trying to find a Citing source as to her role in Ragnarok. ...I haven't found it. I've seen a description saying that all the gods would "Return to her at the end of Ragnarok", but I found no source to back that up, which is why I didn't ask for her while asking for Surtr.

However, given that she is affiliated as an Embodiment of Winter, I believe her involvement may be with "Fimbulwinter".
