MIA for another week, pharmacy once again doesn't have my meds ready and without them I can barely function so from tomorrow onwards I'm gonna be away while I try and get it sorted

Melanie didn't bother to hide her admiration of Meg's transfiguration skills. It was a subject that stumped her personally and she had always been impressed by the Ravenclaw's skill in the subject though she never would have considered approaching her directly about it before.
"I have the feeling that refusal on my part would be somewhat foolish, no?" she quirked an eyebrow at the Ravenclaw as she joined her in the seats, momentarily distracted by the captains' speeches. The absence of the Gryffindor captain did not pass her notice.

Her brow furrowed.
"Hey, what happened to the Gryffindor captain?" she vocalised her confusion wondering if Megan had noticed it as well.

Then we can kind of wing it and see which way we wanted it to go because I don't think we actually decided who was going to switch sides? But I do believe we decided that the end goal would be that one would end up swaying the other to their cause and change their loyalties or something? ouo

Perhaps Yerbol wants to take the relic/scrolls/holos or information from that planet or whatever back to the Council but the Sith also want to know where the Enclave is so somehow manage to place Aria in some kind of infiltrator role where she 'pretends' (somewhat convincingly, or not, however it happens to go XD) to convert to the LS with the aim of feeding info back to Korriban in a sort of sleeper agent style role and then either she slowly manages to turn Yerbol to the Sith or he converts her to the Jedi?

The flying saber had Aria momentarily distracted and she scarcely had the time to react quickly enough to flick her own blade up to block the blow. She dug in her heels in an attempt to resist the impact but it was to no avail and despite her best efforts her rearmost foot slipped, sending her stumbling backwards a few steps until she regained her balance once again and launched straight into another attack.

She tried to be mindful of her Master's teachings. Most Jedi will choose to face you with the Makashi form, keep on the offensive and keep pushing them. Makashi duelists hate to lock blades, you must force them to and you will always have the advantage.
"What do you think I mean, little Jedi?" she sneered as she tried to track his movements in the dim light. "You don't honestly believe your pathetic sister was here because she wanted to help your Council, do you? In fact, as I understand it there was much she was all too willing to divulge to us. Much that gives us the advantage in this war! You think we have been hiding from you? HA! You know nothing!"

In her haste to best him, she let her guard down and allowed his comment to get to her, after fighting for so long and so hard to prove herself it was too much for her to take and she had to retaliate.
"I'm not afraid! Fear is for the weak!" but beneath the anger there was mingled guilt and regret for something she had done, though what Yerbol would not be able to tell. But by having those emotions within her, no matter how deeply she had buried them in her attempts to ignore or conceal them from her Sith superiors, perhaps she was not so far gone that she was beyond redemption; however it would take more than a mere invitation of mercy to sway her.

Using the Force to propel herself onward she leapt sideways, producing a second lightsaber that had been hidden beneath her sleeve mid-leap, both blades spun at a speed that made it impossible to tell when one ended and the other began, arcing straight towards Yerbol's neck as she came back down in front of him again, using one of the columns as cover against his counterattack.
"Save your pity and your mercy," she snarled at him as she tried to push him back towards the grave again, "I have no use for it!"

The gesture did not go unnoticed, the Slytherin girl nodding and changing direction to climb the steps up into the tower Meg had pointed out, it was relatively unoccupied and finding space for the two of them to sit together was relatively easy. A few times out of the corner of her eye Melanie thought she had seen the ghost shadowing Megan and she had to admit it unsettled her somewhat but she didn't want to mention it for fear that it was a simple trick of the eyes and that she would end up looking like a fool in front of Megan so she simply kept her mouth shut and tried to ignore it, folding her hands in her lap she turned to face the Ravenclaw as Meg joined her.

"So, uh..." she cleared her throat awkwardly as she fumbled for words, starting conversations had never been her strong point. "I must admit I'm not usually one for Quidditch; I don't think I've ever seen you play either?"

A while ago I finally had a go at drawing up an official reference for my main Star Wars/KOTOR OC, Aria and I do have to say that I'm still pretty proud of the result now, given that this was only my second attempt at ever actually drawing a person :D


(though since then I did also change her hilt design from the classic hilt to the scorpion hilt but eh XD)

When I can stop procrastinating on a ton of other stuff I plan to draw a LOT more of her ;3;
