I'll get another post for Aria up either later tonight or tomorrow probably, was kind of waiting to see if other people were gonna get replies out first so I didn't have to post more than one to respond to them XD feel like this needs another post to get people going again

@Tlstiffl Absolutely bloody not! x'D No such thing as too old for this, I'm 20 now and have been doing this since I was 11, and plan to continue to do so until I'm six feet under!

Aria shifted her weight in an almost impatient manner while Yerbol and the Sith exchanged words, snapping abruptly back to attention as the red skinned alien made, what sounded to her, very much like a threat to their existence. Their gazes locked again for a fraction of a second, and a shudder rippled down the acolyte's spine. Growling softly, Aria snatched her lightsabers from their holsters at her belt scarcely in time to block the first onslaught of electricity he directed towards them. The majority of the energy bolts bounced off the bright red blades as they hummed to life, a few stray forks of the energy fizzling past her to connect with a point on the pillar above her head.
She ignored the shower of debris that followed behind her, keeping her attention focused ahead of them as Yerbol went toe-to-toe with the True Sith. Despite the Knight's best attempts to catch him off guard, it seemed that the alien was a far more experienced duelist than either of them. A simple shift of his weight onto the other foot and a nonchalent flick of his wrist was all it took for him to shove the pair back towards the staircase and regain his own footing.

Aria grabbed hold of Yerbol's forearm as the Jedi staggered backwards towards her, both pulling him to a halt and using him as a solid anchor to steady herself so neither of them would be sent tumbling back down to the foot of the stairway. The acolyte nodded her head in acknowledgement, eyes narrowed in determination. "Keep moving, don't let your feet touch the ground for more than a few seconds." she hissed under her breath, hoping that despite his more muscular frame Yerbol would be well-versed enough in Force acrobatics to accomplish such maneuvers. "He can't hit us if he can't be sure where we'll be from one moment to the next!"
She rocked back onto her heels, glancing across at Yerbol again, she added quickly. "And for Force sake, whatever you do, don't trip." a simple loss of balance on a landing or take off would be all it would take to tip the advantage back to the Sith alien; giving him enough time to grab an ankle or another appendage and then it would all be over. With little more time to spare, he could stop smirking at them and launch another energy attack or worse at any moment, she darted towards the crimson man, throwing one saber ahead of her in the hopes of catching him off guard either with the weapon that flew through the air or the blade still held firmly in her leading hand. With Yerbol close behind her, one of them was bound to land a blow one way or another.

Using Force speed to augment her own momentum and give herself more lift, Aria didn't wait for any tell-tale shout or resistance against the energy beams that would indicate a successful impact, sailing almost immediately over the Sith man's head to land behind him instead. This would leave an opening for Yerbol to take her place directly in front of him while Aria twisted to aim for his vitals from behind. The strategy had the desired effect, the Sith tutor clearly not expecting the duo to be able to work together quite so cohesively at such short notice. Despite an instance where his lightsaber barely skimmed the top of her head, she landed a solid blow to the alien's torso which then unbalanced him enough to give Yerbol the opportunity to slice through his jugular before the man had realised what was happening.
"Shit...that was a close one!" Aria snorted with laughter, dropping onto her knees as the projection disintegrated before them with one last cry of despair. "Guess we didn't pass, then?" it seemed ironic for them to have come all this way just to be refused at the last stage of the trial. Not that there was anything they could do about that now. No, they needed to worry about what would come next. Was there other information in this temple about the True Sith's plans that they could uncover with some careful exploration?

I would totally be lying if I said that I WASN'T internally bouncing off the walls with excitement about where this is gonna go! :D XD *cough*because I so totally am*cough cough*

Exactly what I was thinking! =3 They could use this new planet (we should probably come up with a name for it too I guess? XD) as a home base, perhaps using the old temples etc. as sanctuaries or enclaves where they could hide/protect Jedi and Sith they manage to rescue from the True Sith's officials, we could have some GREAT tension building potential to build up to some kind of final confrontation eventually where despite their best efforts to avoid the True Sith entirely it all comes to a head when they finally find out where they've been taking all the "escapees" O.o

Super pumped for this now, not gonna lie lol

I don't think it was mentioned anywhere before so was just curious, I feel like I could write another for Aria potentially but likewise I could also wait till after you have one up for Mex again before she says anything else XD

Oohhhhhh man! They both sound so awesome it's kind of hard to pick between them! O__O

The author in me is jumping up and down and squealing like a little fangirl at the proposition of causing an all out Force wielders war because the potential behind that could be pretty epic with lots of death and blood and carnage...

Argh, it's a really hard pick, I'll give you that; so bravo for coming up with them both and forcing me to sit and scratch my head for a while to think it through! XD I actually really like the idea of going more towards the second option I think. Would be much more of a challenge perhaps since there's no clear cut "this side are the good guys and this side are the bad guys" with the Jedi/Sith because the True Sith kind of throw the spanner in the works there? I've always kind of headcanoned the whole idea of the Jedi not being as good and pure as they make themselves out to be and I'm all for sticking my characters in the morally grey area (also the whole idea of Grey Jedi makes me squeal like the fangirl I am XD), would be interesting as an idea to have Aria and Yerbol end up as Grey Jedi of sorts as a result of their trials on this planet, maybe trying to keep themselves alive while fleeing from True Sith hunters and trying to find and rescue as many Force users from either side as they can, perhaps as a kind of parallel to Order 66 of some kind? But instead of it just happening with them totally unprepared there's the option that a handful of people from either side believe Aria and Yerbol and they try to band together to fight back?
would it end with the True Sith being successful in their mission and essentially wiping out every member of both Orders, and how would Aria and Yerbol survive (if they did survive at all I guess, if we wanted to get really dark or whatever there's also the option to go for that the True Sith do eventually catch up to them despite their best efforts and yeah O.O)?

ugh I feel like I'm rambling again and not making any sense. I'm going to have a major facepalm in the morning when I reread all of this and realise what an idiot I sound T_T xD

But yeah I really really like the second idea overall, feel like there's a lot more flexibility in terms of how we could write it? Let me know what you think (or whether you could understand any of my babbling at all, I can also try and reword it tomorrow when I'm more coherant if need be, do excuse any rambling or repitition it's very late and I should be in bed, but I got really excited and started running potential plots for it in my head and yeah XD I'mma go to bed now before I explode or something ahaha :P)

Sorrelmask took note of Ashfall's quiet demeanor and instead of making another comment, he simply nodded and sat himself down to wash his ears. The last thing he wanted to do was step on his Clanmates' toes. The brindled tom looked up and chuckled in amusement as the young apprentice bolted up to join them, skidding to a halt just in time to avoid crashing into him.
"Woah there, Frostpaw! Settle down, any cat would think it was your first day out of the nursery!" of course, she hadn't been an apprentice long so that was perhaps an excuse for her boundless energy but Sorrelmask did think it was necessary to gently encourage the young she-cat to tone it down a little. "Well, let's go get started shall we?" he mewed, heading for the tunnel that would take them above ground. "The sooner we start, the sooner we'll have it finished and be back in our nests!"

Frogshade

Frogshade's whiskers twitched in amusement and she stifled a purr of laughter. "Or maybe you need to check your moss first instead of just plopping it down in there and sleeping on it straight away!" she teased her mentor, arching her back in a stretch before padding out into the main cavern to get something from the fresh-kill pile as Iceheart suggested. "I can check it for you later on, while you're busy with some of the other herbs, if you want." she offered.

Darkshadow

Darkshadow grunted softly in response, hauling himself out of his nest and skittering quickly past his disgruntled leader to follow after Whiteclaw and Lionshine. Glancing over his shoulder as if to check they were out of her hearing range, he then leaned over to mutter into Whiteclaw's ear. "Don't worry about her, Whiteclaw. She's always in a bad mood lately, and you know she's just a bully." the two littermates had never gotten along, and it seemed Cinderstar's newfound leadership position had done nothing to soften the blows, verbal or physical, that she often inflicted on Darkshadow and any other cat that was unfortunate enough to get in the way during any of their confrontations. Mostly, Darkshadow just sat there, ears pinned back, and tolerated it, following any orders she gave him. Less cats got hurt that way, for one, and for another he was an awfully timid cat in reality.
