Chincf had a lot to think about now that he and Lila had taken over leadership of Vandrow pack. It wasn't just border fights and losing prey to the tigers, there was something else. Something...sinister, that seemed to be lurking in the territory and picking the animals off one by one. Prey and predator alike. He didn't like it, not one bit. Especially with Lila back at the den nursing their new litter, he was particularly protective, often patrolling along the borders or looking for new clues and trying to figure out what the best course of action would be. The last thing he wanted to do was move the pack away, but as the days wore on he had begun to wonder whether he would have no choice but to do just that. Chincf tried not to think of that too much. Rather focus on bringing prey in to feed his mate and pups, keep the pack strong.

The alpha returned to the den, the rabbit swinging from his jaws. He paused briefly to exchange greetings with his littermate before suggesting she take the day off patrolling and worrying for once and relaxed a while. After ensuring Tikaani promised to do as he asked, he padded across to join Lila, setting the prey down in front of her.
"I brought you something." he murmured gently, a proud twinkle in his eye as he watched the pups squirming against her belly. "They look bigger already!" after they had so much trouble, the new life within the pack was a gift all the wolves could appreciate, and of course Chincf doted on them all more than anyone else.

Tikaani:

Tikaani had been part of the patrol that had found Reaver and Cahira, the experience had shaken her somewhat and she had spent a great deal of time not able to complete her duties to her full potential. As a result, she'd been working overly hard lately to try and make up for it, and of course she was also covering for Robyn who spent most of her time frantically searching for Aleu.
The pup sitter had disappeared shortly after the discovery of the dead former alphas, after bringing Axel to join the pack; Robyn hadn't taken it well and no-one had the heart to tell her to give up looking.

Chincf insisted that Tikaani not over-work herself, and reluctantly the she-wolf agreed. Spotting Luna in the middle of the clearing watching Lila and the pups, Tikaani padded over and lay down beside the albino wolf. "Hey, Luna." she greeted the other she-wolf quietly. "You look like you could use some company, mind if I join you?" though she did think her colouration was quite strange as it was something she had never seen before, Luna seemed a nice enough wolf and Tikaani was determined to try and make her feel as comfortable and welcome as possible within the pack.

@Polaris North @BookGirl1993 where are we gonna go with the tigers for this time skip then? I'm guessing there'd be some reason for them to stick together obviously or else we'd all be a bit stuck? XD

Stehrr was for the most part quiet as he filed along beside Luke and Sutton close to the front of the group, though the Wookiee would throw a glance over his shoulder every few steps to check on the two women behind them and make sure no unsavory characters were trying to sneak up on them from behind. So far, everything seemed to be running as smoothly as Luke had promised, Kayala had everything under control with the Senator and if anything did happen it would be a simple enough maneuver for Stehrr to drop back to help the Face out if she needed it.

Still, he couldn’t quite shake the uneasy feeling gnawing away at the pit of his gut. As they rounded the corner, the crew of the Raven would find out that everything wasn’t as ‘according to plan’ as it had originally appeared. A contingent of Imperial stormtroopers rounded the corner at approximately the same time, blasters trained on the small party as they exited Bay B1. Emitting more than a few agitated roars and growls, Stehrr fumbled to grab and load his bowcaster, clearly not willing to try out diplomacy first.

Denali had been relatively relaxed about the mission since the others had left, in fact the doctor had even made himself comfortable enough that he had almost fallen into a light sleep in his chair, absently day dreaming about former escapades during his time in the Echani military, or his early medical training, when he was abruptly jolted awake by the piercing sounds of Stehrr’s roars over the comlink.

Swearing, he sat bolt upright and fumbled to adjust the earpiece in his ear, calling out to Luke and Sutton for an explanation about the Wookiee’s sudden and unexplained outburst. “Captain, Sutton...what the hell’s going on out there?!” he briefly wondered whether they had hit a snag in the plan already. Surely not...it was far too early, and the Imps didn’t even know they were here. Right? ”Please tell me somebody just stepped on the Wookiee’s foot and everything’s still on track.”

There we go, hopefully that gets that ball rolling in the right direction xD Not a huuugee fan of how that post worked out but I think it's okay enough and still gets the plot moving?

Want me to add or change anything, as usual of course just let me know ;) Figured like you said it'd be easier if they didn't have him come along, or else they'd NEVER get anything done with how 'stuck in the old ways' he is XD

She nodded in agreement along with his words, still a little unsure how they were going to manage such a difficult feat, but Yerbol sounded so...sure that it was possible and somehow that made Aria believe that it was possible, too. "You're right. We CAN do this. We just...need more help." a soft smile crept over her features, taking his offered hand and letting him help her back to her feet. Aria was just puzzling over his question when the roaring of a hyperdrive cut through the unnatural stillness of the air around them. "I'm willing to bet that's our ride off this hunk of space dust." sinking her teeth into her lower lip, Aria started towards the exit of the building, her head angled upwards towards the sky as she searched for any sign of where the spacecraft might be coming in to land. "If it's not then I guess we're in big trouble."

Hand travelling to her saber hilt at her belt, Aria took a few hesitant steps outside to survey their immediate surroundings. With the engine sounds no longer blaring, everything was silent again. "I don't see anything..." the foliage to her right swished, the dark-pelted Tuk'ata slinking out into view. Its lips peeled back as it let out a soft growl that was almost chiding in nature. Aria rolled her own eyes, meeting its gaze as she shot back. "Yeah yeah, you said 'stay'! We HEARD you!" she huffed. "We were sitting quietly till we heard the hyperdrive, figured we'd save time." The creature snorted again, making a sharp gesture with its head to beckon the pair after it before it disappeared back the way it had come.
Looking back at Yerbol, Aria added. "It was him, ship's not far off, we should hurry and follow it back." she waited a few moments to give the Knight time to join her, before trudging past the plant life after the Sith hound which remained conveniently within the pair's sight at all times. "He does this weird thing where he can create a temporary bond, to use the beast's eyes to see...means he can check stuff out, or look for someone, without having to go directly himself." she explained as they walked, a shiver creeping down her spine. "If you ask me it's kinda creepy, but at least most things are too scared of tomb beasts to go anywhere near 'em."

It was only a few minutes' walk to the clearing where the new spacecraft could be found; even more impressive on the outside than its predecessor. And it looked like the engines were far better equipped for navigating the more...rugged terrain that would be characteristic of a moon orbiting the Wookiee home world.
Before they got any closer, however, Aria hesitated a moment to cast a glance in Yerbol's direction. "So...I suggest we approach it like this: completely omit anything about going back to Tython, at least for now, because he's not going to like that. We hit Korriban first, look for survivors. There might be old...allies of his that he trusts, if we make it look like we're trying to do things his way there's a slim possibility we could still trick him into trusting us to get things done without him policing our every move."

In fact, once they were aboard the ship it turned out that getting away from her father in order to carry out their own objectives would be easier than the pair had originally thought. Once they boarded, they were introduced to a woman who the Sith Lord claimed was a 'highly skilled pilot more than capable of ensuring their safe transport', and whom he had given strict instructions to transport the duo to the Kashyyyk moon. Aria's father, on the other hand, would not be accompanying them, rather he would meet up with them again later after he had 'tied up some more loose ends'.
No further explanation was given, nor needed, before he and the tomb beasts left them under the charge of this pilot woman. Aria exchanged a relieved smile with the young Knight. Keeping the exchange within the confines of the Force link between them so as to keep it private, she doubted the woman was a Force user herself after all, Aria chuckled as she told Yerbol.
Well, this just got a LOT easier. You wanna bet we can bribe her into seeing things our way instead?

Ohh, that would be cool if it was a mixture of races yeah, I could totally see them secretly watching what's going on in known space and kind of going '...the heck's going on with those guys now?' 'should we do something?' 'dunno, maybe, I mean...if it doesn't work out we could just kill 'em all again' xD (never heard a more accurate description of the opposing ideologies in my life ;) XD)

Ah yes, we need a nice newfangled and more 'flashy' name for sure! =P Guess we could just call it "Grey Order" for now till we come up with something better? I'll have a think and a search around, maybe we can use some words from some of the canon'd languages to translate some kind of synonym for 'balance' and make a really cool-sounding name for it xD

Yes, I think we did ouo hmm...maybe we can find a middle ground to include a bit of both? Letting it happen as we go is definitely good as far as being more natural, but we definitely need to plan at least SOME of it so it doesn't impede the rest of the plot XD I feel like they've got a pretty good foundation as far as their friendship goes by now at least, so I guess we just see where the natural chemistry goes from there? :P I guess a good place to start would be after they've ditched daddy dearest (because as much as I love Bol, Roan'd probably murder him if he thought the two of them were getting too cosy for his liking while he was around XD); guess it'd just be silly little banter and things like that, that neither of them really think about or notice at first? Or we could do something silly like Ari has a night terror during one of their hyperspace trips and she wakes Bol up cause she's too on edge or riled up about everything to deal with it on her own (plus I imagine it'd be kinda hard to hide something like that when you're basically connected to someone else's emotional 'thought train' 24/7, and it could be kinda cute if she's never really had the opportunity to go to someone for comfort with something like that before-Roan would probably just tell her to man up and stop behaving like a frightened child after all and I imagine she just gave up and learned to keep it to herself after a while xD)
Totally just spitballing here so feel free to alter, add or remove anything as you see fit of course ;)

Ohoho, I like this idea, wow O_o very nice, totally not what I was expecting, but in a good way xD I'm all for this one! I think somewhere out in Wild Space sounds good, since they'd be trying to avoid detection. And after all, there's bound to be other planets besides the True Sith homeworld, right? xD Maybe even just a small and remote moon somewhere lol

So these new fleets would come from a totally different system not under the control of the Republic or Empire (or whatever they decide to rename it to when they band together, maybe the New Empire or some other amalgamation of the two current ones' names? idk xD)? Perhaps an off-shoot of the Rakatan society from that beachy planet whose name escapes me? xD Then they could be slightly more technologically advanced than our newly founded government, not necessarily with technology that feeds on the Force like the Forge did per se (because that proooobably wouldn't work if Ari and Bol previously would have destabilised/re-shaped the Force to help True Sith guy (whose name I'm sure you mentioned before but I also cannot remember atm for the life of me xD)

and would Aria and Yerbol and their new followers kind of leave this new government to it and sort of 'lurk & watch', waiting for instructions from Sith boss man or would they be actively trying to help or hinder said government officials? Perhaps the government, despite not being keen on their whole movement, would be forced to actively seek them out and ask for their help in pinpointing the origins of these strange new fleets?

Or is that getting too far ahead of ourselves for the time being? lol
