Camp Pantheon

The Gods, powerful, immortal beings that had existed and held sway over humanity for eons. Forming many pantheons and focusing their rule over several different places on Earth. Making a major part of humanity's life in the old times. In the present day, the gods are content with the order of things, despite their followers having dwindled massively. But their legends and myths remain.

But one thing about the gods that people did not realize was the War in Heaven. A conflict among the gods that, while appearing as destructive natural weather to humanity. Causing damage across the planet. It was a war that would last a short time before the truth of the war was revealed, a ruse to weaken the gods, and the true instigators of the war would be imprisoned.

It was not one of the gods that discovered the truth and ended the war. But one of their children, a demigod of Odin, Magnus Grey, was helped by fellow demigods. Found the truth and ultimately paid the price and died to stop the war, revealing the truth.

Which the gods contemplated the actions of the demigods, who like them. Fought in the war alongside their parents and died in the process. Camps of demigods of each pantheon were raided by other demigods and despite the animosity between the groups of demigods. This small group of demigods, led by Magnus, was able to accomplish what the gods were blind to.

So after the war, and to help bridge the gap between the losses and damage caused by the war, and in thanks to Magnus and his allies. Overtures were made, and one of the things the gods did was establish a new demigod camp in the United States. One that welcomed all demigods to it, called simply Camp Pantheon. To act as a place where all demigods could live and be safe. Along with encouraging demigods from other pantheons to learn about each other and be friendly with each other.

It has been twenty years since the creation of Camp Pantheon, and while the camp is going well and the gods are at peace. Something is stirring in the background, something seeking revenge. It all starts with a surprise prophecy.

Overview

Hello and welcome to the rp. In this rp, you will be playing as demigods staying at Camp Pantheon. A demigod camp located in the United States, specifically in West Virginia. Where the player characters will be living when a visiting seer has a sudden vision and speaks of a prophecy. Which soon after, a group of demigods is formed and sent out on a quest for the first time in years.

So when it comes to which gods your character is the child of. The four main pantheons represented at camp are the Greek, Norse, Shinto, and Egyptian since they were the main contributors to the creation of the camp. Which will be the four pantheons that the players can choose for their character to be a demigod of. But, if you use your character to be a demigod of a different pantheon than the main four, there is a fifth option, a wildcard option, if you will. The fifth option means your character can be a demigod of any other pantheon, but with limited slots and with greater scrutiny. Just stick to pagan pantheons, which is the only rule with it.

Aslan Calides

Aslan had a good sleep, all things considered. He woke up bright and early as his custom and spent some time alone, praying. Something he does sometimes when no one is around and when he knows he is truly alone. When he was done, he headed to meet with the others. Which Aslan was gratefully surprised that there were horses waiting for them. Enough for all of them, and a wolf as well. Aslan liked most animals to be fair, but he always liked wolves, and having one with them is something he appreciates, even if he will not show it.

But after listening to Brigitte's plan, which he had no complaints with and stayed silent. Now, on the choice of mount to use. Of the three horses, after seeing how Eirún had claimed the pinto mare. Aslan walked over to the other mare, the one with no sign of combat on her hide. He gently approached the mare and, after slowly putting his hand to her snout, so she could get used to his scent. He whispered into her ear in a gentle tone "Do not worry, you are in good hands." Which he got up on the horse and went to follow the others out of town.

Aslan took the rear of the group, in case trouble came their way. He is not much of a frontline soldier like some in the party. Yes, he has a weapon to defend himself. Two actually, but he is more of a range fighter. Picking off targets at a distance or when the enemy least suspects it. Granted, Aslan's main choice of weapon is a bit odd, but people do not expect oddities in a fight, usually.

Still, as the trip to Haldr was being uneventful, things got interesting when a group of Fenris Knights showed up. Things were tense as he could tell, as the knights told their story. While Aslan waited in the back, waiting to see if things turned violent. Did he hear Brigitte warning about the true nature of the knights, and it being proven true as the now known mage knights revealed themselves.

Luckily for the group, they stay on the defensive after one of them used their magics to summon a metal sphere, and all metal would be pulled towards it. "Mages," Aslan cursed in a whisper.

At this point, Aslan had demounted and as the others were fighting. Aslan looked for a good opening and as he watched the others fight. Including a newcomer, a giant of a woman, but seeing that she was helping them. Knocking a knight away with her body. Aslan did not focus on her, and who she was would wait until after the mage knights were dead. Seeing one mage was dead, being brutally dispatched by Siegfried. Aslan chose to focus on the second mage, whom he was not alone in targeting. Eirún was first in that regard, and after her attack. Which the mage knight was still standing. Aslan went to aid her by bringing out his left hand, which had a mini crossbow on it with a wooden bolt ready to fire. He took aim and fired, and while the bolt penetrated Goldchain's armor. It did not look like a major hit, and Aslan would have to try something else to get a better advantage on Goldchain as he reloading his mini-crossbow.
@TruckKun I have to agree with Wernher, building a ship they have never built before would take longer. Even with builders who knew how to build it. It would take several months or even years. Not mention the cost of building one would be more than what they are used to. Slow down with this sort of stuff, since you keep moving fast with how things are developing, and it does not make sense. Again, slow down, and one last thing. Sending people off to find something with just the knowledge of something they have not found before does not work, since that means they are on a random goose chase. People would need more direction than that.
I am sorry to say but I cannot do the rp right now and I have to drop this for now as something has come up. Again, sorry, but I will do this again. I just cannot do this now.
Kinda curious about the time skip schedule. As I said I kinda plan on being done with my first 5 years soon and I see our gm is still at his first month, some not even there.

I do plan to start doing it by years and, but yeah. Some people are going more slowly than you and I am letting people go at their own pace so you may be free for a time but, if it becomes a problem. I will address it.
Zano Mirazdar

It has been quite an eventful couple of days, Zano thought as he lay on his hotel bed. Getting the gold before those Communalists could get their hands on it. The party and now he is in the Kingdom of Mitteland. But things seems to have calmed down a bit since coming to the kingdom and with plenty of time to unwind. Zano has not seen much of the others since checking into the hotel, and it has given him time to think.

Zano is not quite sure of what to do with himself now. He is an inventor and now without a workshop to invent at or a place to live. Yes, he can hopefully get access to his funds at some point, but since the fall of the capital. Zano now had time to think about what his next move should be. Maybe settling in Mitteland, rebuild his workshop, and establish himself here. Or stay with the crew of the zeppelin and see where that takes him. Maybe a more eventful life but, is that a life he wishes to live? Zano cannot say for now, and the only thing he knows for sure is that he is not going back to Mina-Sakh and to his parents.

So, after thinking and thinking in his head. Zano figured he could use some fresh air, and after collecting his things. He departed his hotel room and started walking around. Truly seeing the sights of the city, and after a bit. Zano thought about stopping at where he expected to see some familiar faces from the zeppelin. Hopefully at least, and if not, then more to seeing Elvesland proper and more time to think about his next move. Whatever that will be.

I am starting to get used to the life of the Ozen's tribe. Despite some hiccups and getting used to nomadic life. I still miss my old life, and while I am not getting any closer to getting back home and where I am. At least the tribe is starting to like me as I help around with the tribe and not just standing around. It is different from my old life. I never had to take care of cattle, goats, or sheep before. Learning how to properly take care of them and other stuff that comes with taking care of livestock. Which I think one, a cow named Vue seems to like me.

Still, I am adjusting, and despite my lack of hunting skills. One of the hunters of the tribe has taken up the job of teaching me how to hunt and ride a horse. I have ridden a horse once, and that was with a saddle. Which riding a horse without one has proven to be a challenge to me. I just do not know how they can do it without a saddle and after I explained to them what a saddle is. They seem curious about it. Granted, I do not know how to make a saddle, and I know little about horses but, I have teamed up with a leather worker to figure out how to make one. Which I gathered help of some of the tribe to help since they know more about horses than me.

We have made some prototypes, some better than others, and while none are a perfect saddle. It is progress and better than nothing since I just remember what a saddle looks like and nothing else. Which the tribe's leader or chieftain, I should say. A man named Kun seems to appreciate my efforts to help the tribe. I mean, I might as well help the people who are helping me. It is only fair, and it beats doing nothing.

But some of the tribe have grown interested in where I come from and what I know. I can repeat what I have said, and as far I they can tell, they think I am from some faraway land, and they are probably right. This land I am not familiar with, and I do not know where on Earth I am. But I did get a clue where, one of the animals the tribe hunts. A weird looking antelope with enlarged nostrils, I have seen that animal before. I forgot what they are called, but those things are iconic and so far. They are the only clue to where I am and maybe I can figure out where I am and find a way home. Since I know they are not native to the Americas, Europe, Australia, or Africa. Well, I think not Africa and so that means Asia, but where in Asia and that still does not answer how the people I have met are this primitive. I just do not know how long that will take to get home.

Though one good thing I can say about living with the tribe is that. With no lights or anything other than fires. There is no light pollution, and at night, while the rest of the tribe sleeps. I stay up and watch the night sky in its unfiltered glory. A sight that would be impossible to see in most places, here. I think I can see the Milky Way and other stars that most people could not see back home or in civilization.

So, living here is not all that bad, but still a far cry from what I am used to. I am just glad I am not alone and have help. I would not know what I would do without Ozen's tribe. But, thanks to them, I have a chance of surviving wherever I am and getting back home. Whenever that will be.
