Virtue, a firm and habitual disposition to the good. Even in the Digital World, constructed of raw data though it may be, the concept of virtue has a hold. However, not even the digital is ideal. Consumed with pride, a lone Digimon, formerly an Angel-type, sought to posses the Digital World itself. For its insurrection, it was cast down to the Dark Area, whence there is no return.
Now, the Dark Area stirs, and the beasts within threaten to consume the light. Only the Crests of legend can protect the Digital World now... Welcome! The aim of this RP will be, as implied above, a journey to the Digital World, wherein our characters seek out the Crests and vanquish a threat to the Digital World. However, it's not going to be as cut-and-dry as one might think at first. The goal here is to have flawed characters- ones who aren't the sparkling embodiment of the Crest which they eventually end up possessing. Quite the contrary, we are seeking characters who have to learn more about their aligned crest than others. The activation of the Crests should, ideally, be something that doesn't come easy, is a struggle for a character, and will take quite a bit of doing- not ideal at all in fact. This way, we can create a dynamic, character driven roleplay, focused on interaction and development as well as adventure and action (if not moreso). Also, due to the more complex, mature way the story is being handled, characters will be older than they typically are in the Digimon anime, to differentiate a little, and so you don't feel like you have to pull any punches. Now, let's get down to the nitty-gritty, shall we? Digivolution paths can be pretty much anything within reason, from Baby to Mega, with a possibility for DNA Digivolution, and potentially an enhanced Mega stage. The Digivolution paths you choose should at least be thematically similar, but aside from that, the ball is in your court. The Digivice that will be used will be the Digivice 01, pictured below:
This Digivice will have all its appropriate functions- meaning facilitating Digivolution, Care of Digimon, DNA Digivolution, and the reversal of such (Partition), and the transmission of messages between Digivices and Digimon in the Digital World (as well as a nifty customized color scheme to fit your character of your own choice!). Crests will be used to facilitate Digivolution above Champion level, and will trigger when the human character exhibits a set of behavior which is represented by their Crest. As such, when a Crest activates is up to the GM's discretion, and not that of the players. To be frank, though I don't want to tie down the RP to a specific date or year, I would prefer if things were kept '90's-esque', or were portrayed in ways that were common in the late 1990's or early 2000's. This doesn't mean that any character personalities will be cut back or anything based on what was "normal" at the time, but please note the limitations of wearable or portable technology. Thank you for understanding.

@King Cosmos I believe we do. I'm not going to close admissions as it were, but I may as well make our OOC. Note: Mild update to the CS's. I would like if everyone added their character's hex codes for text color, if only for your own benefit so it's easily accessible.
@King Cosmos One can be unkind without being cruel.
Good way to do it. I feel like Lotusmon's design is trying too hard to be gothic-lolita, but I have nothing against it. I'll keep that in mind and get back to you later on Rafflesiamon.
@King Cosmos That's actually a common misconception as far as I'm aware. There was a translation error in Digimon World 3 that confused them. And the animation speaks for itself- Joe jumping in the ocean to save TK isn't "honest", it's being dependable.
Interesting choice in Digimon, (honestly the Champion stage doesn't ring a bell) especially since I could see Erika working as much with Kindness as she would Sincerity, maybe moreso.
@King Cosmos Yeah, I was just mentioning a bunch of sources because not everyone has access to the same ones. Even then, In Adventure, 02, and Tamers, how often do you really see Digimon use more than one Technique is all. (I can't speak to Data Squad because I skipped it.) Either way, it's not been that much of an issue so far, and It's also not that much work for me to point out when techniques are a bit overboard. I hope that's okay.
@King Cosmos Kind of is, yes. Be it the three slots for actions on the cards, the use of a very limited number of attacks by any individual Digimon in the various anime, the use of the signature move slot in various video games (not so much the Digimon Story games on the DS, but more the earlier Digimon World games), and things of that nature.
