Demetri tried to think about the old movie she was talking about, deciding it was probably as bad as the old Mortal Kombat movie his parents had tried to get him to watch. It wasn't exactly horrible but it definitely wasn't on par with other rookies from that Era. For a moment, Demi lingered at the counter holding onto the candy as he felt them shift in the box. Thinking about the movie nights he'd have with his parents, and how often they'd end up watching The Mummy or Jurassic Park because they were his favorites. The sound of the register opening called him back towards the space, eyes widening as he realized he had just been standing there.

"Huh? Oh uh right. Um here ya go." Demi pulled out the coins that Lauryn handed him, giving her the drachmas as he agreed to take a bag. "It's fine, I'm stopping by my cabin in a bit and will just have to change clothes there. Till then I can handle a little warmth." He grabbed the bagged items and slipped the Whoppers into his coat before heading out, hands in his pocket and the handles wrapped around his wrist. He looked around at all the sloshed snow and began to wonder exactly what happened, coming up with fanciful ideas in hisbhead until he finally made it towards the forge. "Yo."

Cassian's smile curled at his lip as one of the campers tripped before Arthur and made a bit of a scene. He hoped that some enjoyment could be derived from that but Arthur remained composed throughout the interaction and allowed the kid to go by unscathed. Cassian made a mental note of that. He would decidedly need something bigger if it was to impact this child, and so he glanced over towards where the kid now was and noticed he'd already made his way out of the Pavilion. No known godly parent or close friends of his were by that Cassian knew, and so he let off a mental sigh, keeping his outwardly composure to Arthur and Andy.

"Well, as to what it is that I want -" Cassian's words were cut short as a hazel-haired woman made her way towards them and asked if everything was alright. Arthur remained composed as ever, almost as if they were locked in a battle to see who would falter first. Cassian's mind ran rampant for a moment on ways to handle the little brat but they all fell short and so he decided it best to ignore him all together for now and focus on the new person joining the conversation. "How could anything be wrong when such a radiant beauty as yourself joins a conversation? With eyes so beautiful even Narcissus would dare to look away from his own reflection to see them."

It sounded as if the suits had done an approximation of what Max believed them to do. It wasn't just a poor choice in clothing, it was also functional for medical purposes, which made Max a little glad that he had chosen not to remove them from anyone. Sure they all felt fine for now, but no one knew what the long term effects could be of having been frozen for that long. So perhaps having their vitals monitored for a bit longer wasn't such a bad thing after all. Even if it was by that creep Nemesis. Max tried not to think too much about it. Instead pushing past the ideas to listen about Sunshines wedding.

Max grinned as he saw how happy, confused, yet happy, Sunshine was as she spoke about Marrow and their potential wedding ideas. He had to admit, Marrow sounded like a cool name and he was sure that she was just as awesome of a person. The idea of a ritual combat made him a little uneasy, knowing he wouldn't want to be involved in making anything for something that could potentially end badly. However an Astral wedding sounded right up his alley. Max thought about how cool it must be to be able to traverse the Astral realm, wondering how closely tied that may be to the realm that ghosts lived in, and if Caspers sight extended that far.

Before Max was able to get too deep into thought, Miranda had decided to answer him about Wanda. Though where the sudden change in attitude came he had no idea. It took him back, wincing slightly as she spoke. He hadn't realized it was a sore topic for her, after all Wanda created a world for them all to be together and happy. So why shouldn't Max think that she still cared for them? "Sorry, I wasn't aware of any of that. The only memories I have of you or her was as a family back in her reality. I figured if she wanted you all there and happy that...well that that had to carry out here as well."

Max wasn't expecting much of a response back as Zari continued to throw her tantrum, assaulting the table and going off about her possessions and how nobody could touch them. He wasn't exactly sure as to what was going on with her, noticing how Veil moved towards her first to help calm her down, followed by Callie and then finally Miranda. He wasn't about to add himself into the mix, instead opting to lean against the wall with a hit of an eye roll and look towards Renegade who was kind enough to attempt to care for their stuff.

"If you need, I can try and repair the table. Though my magic has been a bit unstable since I've been awake, I was hoping someone on this island could help me with that." Max was hoping for Wanda but if Miranda was to be trusted then she wasn't here. His mentor Doctor Strange would be next but Max wasn't sure if he was even a mutant or just a wizard of sorts. Sunshine had mentioned Selene but...he didn't know anything about her, and that made him a bit nervous.

As Harry gathered his things, he lingered on some items more and more. Questioning everything that had happened and everything that there was to come. He was still wracked with guilt over the death of his love, still torn by how strayed he felt at times with his sister, and eaten away by the sheer remorse he had for how long it took for him to contact her. All to add to the survivor's guilt that he felt each and every day since his fiancé died. If only he'd paid attention to the mutant plight beforehand, if only he'd cared. But he didn't have a visible mutation. He was a passing mutant, and he didn't care for all the politics, or so he kept telling himself.

Everyday since her death Harry had been doing something. Always keeping busy and trying to help out with the Underground however he could, as if helping countless other mutants would somehow make the weight of his guilt that much lighter but all it did was keep his mind busy enough to not think about what had happened. Now, there was no mutant cause. There was nothing to fight for as the battle had been seemingly won. For the first time in a while, Harry was allowed to think. He nervously tapped his foot against the floor, numbness creeping into him until finally he stopped. He felt so lost in this new world, so worthless, so grief-stricken. He quickly stepped out of the room to catch Casper for a moment, his eyes meeting him in a gaze of understanding. From one addict to another. "Do you carry any smokes on you?"

Maddie looked at the conjured familiar with a critical eye. Both in amazement as well as caution as he worried about whether or not the creature would become hostile. For now it seemed to be acting as a familiar should, so Matthew relaxed his shoulders and was about to reach out and have the cat sniff him when suddenly Red saw something that alerted her to guards nearby. He instinctively tensed up again, crouching lower as he nodded towards Red and began to sneak his way towards Merlin's Tower with a bit of a hurry.

Once inside Maddie curved around the door and laid his back against the wall where the hinges met so that if anyone entered the house they wouldn't be able to see him right away. He let out a soft sigh and looked to Colby as he pressed him with questions, only shaking his head lightly. "Nothing. Maybe it's your ancestry with the Cheshire Cat that allows you to hear them? I have a working theory that perhaps people from Wonderland have strange and unpredictable side-effects to their magic. But…" Maddie pulled the book open once more, finding the page again and re-reading the spell, his tongue sticking out partially as he thought. "Says here you can communicate with your familiar telepathically. Doesn't seem like anyone else can though. Again, jealous."

Demi cocked an eyebrow at Tammy as she tilted the book to reveal the spine. He'd never played the game before personally, but he'd heard nothing but good reviews. Of course his only knowledge of the game was an old YouTube video of some guy named Leroy Jenkins that first got Demetri interested in trying out the game. He'd had a chance to download it and create a character but his ADHD made it very hard to focus in the game and the dyslexia didn't help much either, so he ended up quitting before ever hitting level 5. "Sweet. Didn't realize they made books about the game too, not that I know much of anything when it comes to WoW."

Before Demetri could even finish his sentence, Tammy had already bookmarked her page, zipped over towards him and snagged the list, looking it over. He had to admit the breeze she created felt nice now that the snow was gone and his jacket getting a bit too warm for comfort. "Right, thanks." Demi made his way through the store towards where Tammy had pointed. Finding the guitar strings and collecting a few. "Think I got everything else covered. Buuut." He snagged a box of Whoppers from a shelf, shaking it slightly so that the malt balls rattled within their cardboard cage. "Think I'll take some of these too. Granted I'd prefer the non-American version but I suppose this'll have to do while I'm here." Demetri placed the items onto the counter where Tammy had been earlier. "What do I owe ya?"

Cassian smiled as Arthur began to apologize. About to accept it and mention how ideal that would be before Arthur had decidedly finished his sentence sending a pang through his own heart. He carefully removed a stray curl that rested on his forehead and moved it up towards the tufts that fell to the right, holding his smile in place. The moment was cold, calculated, almost surgical, as if it wasn't meant for comfort rather than a display of sorts. He let Arthur finish speaking before he finally let out a soft chuckle at the boy, noticing how he straightened himself as if he was almost trying to make himself appear taller. It was cute, really.

His attention was snapped over towards Andy as she joined into the conversation, focusing more on the aspects of the gods than the social snarks being made by Arthur. Cassian chose to ignore the little boy for now, not giving him an answer and purposefully speaking only to Andy for the moment. "It's true that my father does run this camp. But I don't see why that should matter? Especially now that all this turmoil is happening and it appears that every god is having their time pulled away. But then again I never was the jealous type. After all more is merrier I always say." Cassian said as he punctuated his sentence by tapping a single finger against his rosey lips.

His eyes slowly moved to the side, finally acknowledging Arthur again and having his smile creep back. "How very rude of me I forgotten to make my introductions. The names Cassian, Cassian Rudenko and I'm the child of Dionysus. Arbiter of Madness and friend to The Wild. I'm also very keen on reading people so it isn't too difficult to see what's going on in the minds of others." Cassian took a long sip of his tea, tilting the cup up so that the vessel and his hand would cover his eyes from their view. There was a slight shimmer of gold in his eyes that vanished as soon as he began to lower his cup. No one needed to know he was a legacy of Eris. After all, what fun would there be in that?

Given that The President had mentioned he was rusty, Kwassi figured he may need the phone at some point to help jog his memory. Either that or hearing the beginning could set off a mental trigger to allow him to recall it without any issue. In the event it was the former, Kwassi began to read as much of the text as he could. Trying to memorize as much as would be helpful before everything began. However as he was almost halfway through, Jakobsen snatched the phone out of his hand and immediately began to perform the exorcism. Kwassi tried to listen intently, hearing the pronunciation of the words he'd just read while Sparky began to chatter off to help fill others in.

The constant talking began to muddle into the Latin phrases, not to mention the sounds coming from Niah didn't help any. He wasn't able to recall half of what he'd heard, when Bonnie officially kicked most everyone out of the room save for a few. Kwassi put his hands up as if to say he was going, leaving just the Med-Bay and heading into the adjoining room along with Raynor and Oli. He couldn't help but notice that Oli was listening in, either out of concern, some sheer sadistic want to hear someone scream, or curiosity. "No. It does not. Do you mind if I ask you what you are listening for my friend?" Kwassi asked, turning to face Oli.

Max gave anyone who offered him thanks, a polite nod back as if to say don't mention it. They didn't need to be looking more like a cult than they already did, and perhaps wearing something resembling what they had before would at least make them all feel more at home in this place. He couldn't help but smile as Sunshine began to tell them of some of the adventures that she'd been on while they were on ice. In all honesty the place did sound like a paradise. As they passed the hospital of Emma Frost, Max wondered if his cat would be here, wondering what had happened to it that day he left.

Max let out a small sigh, his eyes going agape when Sunshine mentioned her fiancé. He hadn't considered that in all this time she could have moved on. That she could've found someone else. He was happy for her of course, but that made his question feel all the more inconsiderate. He silently cursed to himself as she gave him his answer. There was no real need to see Selene if Sunshine was already happy. Or was it selfish to let Magik perish in hell just because someone else found love again? Max was torn inside on what to do, managing to barely get some words out. "Right...Selene…"

Had it not been for Waverlys amazing ability to spew words out of her mouth the same way a geyser spews water, Max would've been caught in his awkward silence for too long. But the new topic and change of mood was more than welcome. "Was that Wanda's wedding by any chance? I bet it was amazing." Max had an almost far off look to him as he thought about Wanda finally finding true happiness. He'd been wondering what became of her after the events from her magical episode, only ever wishing the best for her. He really should rrach out to her sometime soon. A thought suddenly crossed his mind. "Wait. Is, is she here?" Max was smiling from ear to ear at the thought, wondering how many more mutants from that world may be staying in this haven. He turned his attention back to Sunshine for a moment to show he was just as happyfor her as he was Wanda. "Hey give me time and I can get you a wedding as grand as you want. I do have magic after all."

As they entered the Omega Building, Max looked around in amazement at just how serene everything managed to be. The plant life crawling up the walls and decorating the place as if it was part of the building itself. The temperature felt perfect, and it made amazement wish he could take off the stupid spandex. Once Renegade tapped a box and had it slide over to them, Max began to rifle through it, grabbing everything he owned while asking those who had been awake longer something he'd meant to ask Nemesis. "Is the spandex medically necessary? Or can we remove it? I wasn't sure if you guys managed to somehow create a life support suit to keep us stable."

The more Sunshine talked about this place, the more of a paradise it truly seemed to be. He could just imagine himself lounging in the natural baths of this place, letting the hot water and steam melt his troubles away. Harry didn't feel particularly cold, which was odd given he'd just been frozen for months not but mere moments ago, but the thought of defrosting over a hot spring was definitely on his to do list. He'd almost glanced over the fact that Sunshine had mentioned a fiancé, practically sailing past the news as if it was centuries old gossip.

Harry didn't want to bombard her with any questions, but it didn't seem he had to. Waverly filled that role, starting off with the obvious and moving into a strange territory about a wedding. He supposed being engaged meant that at some point they would wed but it all felt so fast to him as they just found out. Harry shook his head slightly at Waves as he placed a hand on her shoulder. "Breathe. And let Sunshine answer at least one of those questions. Oh, and if you ever need a musician and singer Sunshine, I know one...or five."

As they entered the Omega Building, Harry couldn't help but feel this place was perfect. Too perfect. It began to make him question a few things. Primarily if the ones they'd fought against, the ones his sister had fought so hard against, were the ones behind all this then...did the ends truly justify the means? If they did then, what does that mean for them? All the work they'd done to keep mutants safe beforehand? He chewed on his thoughts for a moment longer before retrieving his stuff, trying to ignore Zaris tantrum as they were guests in someone's home. She was a child...and unfortunately acted like one.

Maddie couldn't help but notice the frown on Colbys face when he handed him the book. As if his choice in spell took all the fun out of the new venture, either that or it appeared more complex than Colby imagined. Maddie hung his head low for a moment, wrapping his right arm over his chest as he rubbed his bicep hoping he hadn't spoiled the moment. It appeared Colby was still going through with this test however, and began reciting some words and Mads could've sworn he felt a shift in the air.

It wasn't as if the wind was blowing, but like something was shifting in the world around them. Maddie couldn't help but look about, apprehension taking hold of him as he searched for any signs that something may be going wrong. Granted he had no idea what exactly he was looking for. When he looked back towards Colby there was now suddenly a new cat. Maddies eyes went wide as he watched the creature, taking the book back from Colby and quickly reading the spell. At first he had expected it to be Wonderland magic, some weird Chesire twist that brought the flowers to life in the shape of a cat. But it turns out Colby had slyly swapped spells and chosen another one.

"I...uh...I can see that. Matthew replied as he eyed the creature wearily. He had heard that witches gain familiar through nature or their gods. Some had spiders, or frogs, others cats, or snakes. But the one thing in common he had heard back in the real world was that they came to the witch, not that they were summoned via a spell. The cat didn't seem to be vicious by any means, so Matthew relaxed a little, until Colby asked him if he heard something. "Just...erm. Just you talking Colbs. Though I won't lie...I'm a little jealous."

Demetri started making his way over towards the Arts and Crafts center, glancing backwards to look at the Apollo Cabin once more. He felt a tightness in his chest, worry coursing through him wondering what had Zeke in such a foul mood. Whatever it was, he would hopefully find out later, and perhaps the gifts would help to cheer him up. Demi looked forward, letting out a sharp sigh as he pressed forward through the snow with more determination than before. It was then that Demi fully realized he wasn't trekking through snow anymore. The satisfying crunch beneath his heel now turned into a sloshing sound as his foot met wet ground.

Demetri was so focused with the list and his design that he hadn't noticed all the snow at camp had melted. The air felt warmer, and suddenly with this new revelation, his jacket felt more uncomfortable. He unbuttoned the front, but decided to keep it on, if only because his hands were about to become very full very fast. Once Demi had made it to the center he began to scour the supplies for stencils depicting the scenes Zeke had described. Much to his surprise they had them all, and Demi could help but smile knowing Zeke's favorite scenes would be depicted across his new gift.

Demetri grabbed the supplies he needed from there, filling his arms and pockets as much as he could before entering the Camp Store. Tammy was there reading a book, and Demi, in his awkward fashion, decided to tilt his head and try to get a glimpse of the spine. "What'cha reading there? Mind if I interrupt?" He asked with a smile on his face as he glanced about the store. "Just looking for some guitar strings and the items on this list. I'm playing errand boy today."

Cassian eyed Arthur warily as he whispered something towards Andy. He took several steps closer until he was standing just a foot away from them, stopping to take a sip of his drink before flashing them, well mostly Arthur, a smirk. "Secrets Secrets don't make friends." His cockiness preceded him as he spoke and looked towards the two, rapping his fingers against the cup. "While Apollo is her father, it doesn't mean the others won't get jealous. I mean, she's only been here for what? A few months? And suddenly daddy dearest comes and offers her and only her a gift? Sure he gave Zeke some minor attention but did he so much as glance at his other kids?"

In truth, Cassian wanted the others to get jealous. He wanted them to act out if only just a little. He had nothing against Nancy, but with the camp on lock down due to the fighting, Cassian just wanted his own form of enjoyment for a change. As much as he loved the satyrs and spirits of nature around here, he still craved that bit of chaos that came from monsters, infighting, and just about anything else. "I mean, if your dad came here and only paid attention to your brother how would that make you feel? Just look at how Zekey boy stormed off. Clearly the kid has some daddy issues that need to be resolved and his father isn't helping."

Kwassi nodded along as Mar-Vell gave them more information on the Flerkens and their parenting habits, taking mental notes to write down later about everything he'd learned about this species. He hadn't expected to not only run into several alien species today, but to also have one so knowledgeable and willing to teach them about the others. It was a breath of fresh air after his encounter with the Happy Go Lucky Thor Jr. The ride back was uneventful save for the bits of information that could be exchanged during the ride to Barton's hideout.

Once they reached the expense of land, Kwassi hopped out of the truck and made his way back towards the quinjet, curious to see what the femme fatales had cooked up for them while they were gone. But instead of a spiel about the marvels they worked, he got a ranting President talking about Demons and possessions. It wasn't exactly something up Kwassi's alley, but he was willing to help, especially with the urgency lacing every word. He wasn't sure which text to pull from for the exorcism, there were so many religions, so many texts, and each culture had their own rites and words to exorcise a spirit (or in this case a demon) out of another body.

Upon hearing that the President felt his memory was a little rusty, Kwassi pulled out his phone and took to the biggest collection of knowledge mankind had, The Internet. He searched through fakes, texts with bad or partial translations, and finally fell upon some Latin writing that seemed to be up the occults alley and genuine as can be. He looked towards Jakobsen as he came back in with the salt and hastily began making a circle. "I've got the text right here, but I couldn't find anything on a Demon Trap. Just a bunch of Hollywood nonsense that has flooded the images tab and web pages." Kwassi stood by, ready to read the words in unison or help as needed.

Max's hand twitched slightly, his attention pulled towards the stern voice coming from one of the strangers in the room. It was as if she was scolding Sunshine, only proving to further press her buttons as the heated exchange continued. Sparks of magic danced at Max's fingertips for a brief moment before he decided that Sunshine could fight her own battles and he had no need to intervene. It felt weird having had a protective thought about the walking disease ball, but ever since he healed her back at the clinic, the loss of Magik, and then the island, it was as if Max could finally see her for more of what she is...or was?

So much time had passed while they were frozen. A lot could've changed not just in the world but in those that got to walk the earth before their escape from the frozen prison. Max let out a sigh, rolling his eyes as Waverly answered his question. He didn't know who passed in her left shoe but she clearly didn't enjoy it. He decided she wasn't worth the effort right now, instead focusing on trying to get Sunshines mind elsewhere, anywhere. So as everyone decided it was time to leave the cold and sterile to gather their belongings, he decided to hang near Sunshine and walk alongside her.

To say the scenery was breathtaking would be a severe understatement. It didn't even feel as if they were on Earth anymore. The world around them seemed to take a different hue, one that radiated peace and tranquility. For a second his eyes began to water, wondering if Leighton would've liked this. If her spirit was here, would she believe that her death was worth it? A part of him wanted to ask if Glimpse was able to make it here, if anyone had heard from her since the split. But Max couldn't bring himself to ask. So he decided to keep his mind busy on other things.

Max quickly passed a hand over everyone from near the back of the line, using the perspective to his advantage. Swirls of magic surrounded those in the white spandex and gave them a...not so spectacular look. They looked like the discount Underground, clothes bought from a JC Penney's that fit everyone's aesthetics just fine but...it wasn't what he envisioned. Max made another pass, the clothes improving slightly, elevating the designs to a more Macy's feel, but still nowhere near what he wanted. Andy should be wearing Doc Martens, not Levi's that were black, Harry definitely needed more designer less off the rack, and Casper...well who knows with him to be honest. Max decided to give it one more try, an exasperated look coloring his face as he let out a heavy sigh of frustration.

Everything had felt so easy back in the hospital. It all felt so natural and now… now it just wouldn't click. The clothes weren't better or worse just...caught in between the two renditions. His head wasn't in it at the moment, too many thoughts distracting him from focusing on what it was he was trying to do. But for the most part at least the Underground didn't look like it was part of a cult. As his annoyance peaked, Max finally decided to turn to Sunshine and talk. "I know you mentioned youd need my help to decipher it but...did you get a chance to look at that book I showed you before? Maybe in the past months you'd deciphered something?"

Harry was fully on board with getting his items back. He didn't have anything particularly valuable to others, nor was he worried that anyone would break or destroy his things. But he wanted to have his wallet back. To be closer to the image of his late fiancé. Her image, and a keepsake he kept from her, that's all he cared about. Harry absentmindedly reached up towards his chest, feeling where the necklace would be, touching the ghost of it as if he had just had it on yesterday.

His thoughts were however cut short as suddenly he felt fabric against his hand. He touched it softly, trying to figure out what had happened as he watched everyone suddenly don clothing out of thin air. The outfit wasn't bad per se, but the fabric. If there was anything worse than the spandex he had on before, it was the fully polyester shirt he had now. How anyone thought this could mimic the silky smooth texture of silk was beyond him. The clothing changed again, new outfit, new fabric, and Harry thanked the gods above. He inspected himself but as he went to do so it changed once more. He now had black denim skinny jeans, a white dress shirt buttoned down three buttons, and a leather jacket whose sleeves stopped midway down his forearms. His tattoos were for the most part exposed, and the shoes were nowhere near designer, but at least the look was as on brand as one could get without money.
