@DeadDrop okay, last few questions.

1. Wouldn’t all of the people need to be old worlders since anyone born after 2025 would only be 15 at the oldest?
2. When they are asking for volunteers is it going to be “we are looking for the best of the best” or more like “we don’t expect you to come back, so anyone with a pulse will do”
3. Do you have a ‘roadmap’ planned out with how they are going to get there?
4. I feel like you answered this question before and I am just struggling to comprehend it. Did the fog appear in one place and spread or everywhere at once? Do people aim to filter the fog or just suck it up and breath it?

1: I'm dumb lol I messed up the math thanks for catching it. Current Year is 2050
2: Both, there is incentives for doing this and people have their own reasons too.
3: Yes and No its up to the players if they drive there or not.
4: It appeared one day, very few know of it's origin (ghouls). The fog respiratory wise does not harm the lungs.

hi @DeadDrop i just wanted to know if i could apply, this rp looks really interesting. I'm new to the rp guild but not entirely new to rp so i may not have a massive 5 paragraph post on how i'm chilling (i like the idea of the living failures)

I wasn't actually throwing shade at DeadDrop. I don't believe I've ever even put in a CS for one of his RPs (nothing personal there bud, just never saw anything there I was really excited to do). Neither of my callouts have been on people who actually read this thread ... and if for some reason they do see it and know I'm calling them out, I really don't care. That was the damn point.

I woulden't introduce a second character for players until later on in the story, you can have secondary NPC but I need to seem them first.
Each expedition group isn't that huge.

Welcome to OOC.

New Worlders - born after 2025, most live in the city states while some live in nomading tribes of survivors. Generally have little knowledge about the outside, the events before - which is why some states manipulate them heavily.

Old Worlders - born after 2000, the older smaller population of the world. Most have knowledge of the events that happened in Detroit. They have good knowledge about the corps, fog and governments. Most live alone or in free cities, few live in states or live very briefly in them either for the trade or information as most oppose the governments for various reasons. Growing to their older years, some consider them veterans of New America while some seek their guidance for training.

Ghouls - People born in the 20th century, people like President Tolliver (and the old US president), Congress, Army Brass would be the most common of these type of people. Outside of those in established positions they are ghosts, assumed to be killed off. These people hold most of the knowledge of how the apocalypse happened. Too bad they are mostly dead.

Currency: Neo-Philly Dollar (used by New Philly, accepted by few).

Dead Presidents (The USD Dollar) accepted by many, some city states have their own currency (like new philly) and will only accept that.

You're free to app for a Old Worlder or New Worlder, Ghouls are reserved for myself (sorry c: ).
