Jumping the multiverse

So, was there any particular worlds you'd like to see?
If you don't mind a mix of original and fandom-based worlds, that is? I'm sure there are some of those fandom universes we would love to experience them...

Also, any ideas for a first quest? I was thinking maybe going after some kind of bounty could be our beginner quest?
That can work, like instead of getting the device right from the start (something like a starter pack in most RPGs), maybe we'll have to go through a test to see if we're worthy enough to get one. :P

Wizarding chaos [with tsukune]

It's more of a toy than comic con - well, the toys are mostly DC and Marvel characters, so fair enough I guess.
The best part was actually the acoustic concert at the end - the piano-violin duet of animanga songs was simply epic!

I'm not saying that I hate people who speed-posts - OOC is perfectly fine, but I don't like it when people spam me with reminder PMs and clog up my notification tab forcing me to give priority to their specific RPs; worse, I'm expected to post every day when I've already made it very clear my schedule is a weekly basis. Unlike most RPers on this site, my timezone is on the other side of the planet - so while they are online I'm in bed and vice-versa.

I do think that the Huffies are a bunch of peeps as cool as the other three houses in their own unique ways - probably more so than others, because the virtues they value are what most people actually look for most in today's society.

That's cool, I've never been there or any parts of Europe mostly due to the expensive airfare and also the negative news about a sharp rise in the number of pickpockets caused by social unrest from Greece's bankruptcy issue. (The furthest country I've been to is Japan and that's about it.) After skimming through the wiki to get a brief idea on the area, I think it's a nice place to work with. :)

Hmm, I was thinking:
I may be going with playing male for this - I feel that using a female for the traits I'm planning for this character may not work out too well and can be in danger of stretching things too far. She can turn out to be quite an interesting tomboy, but the characterization may fall flat during the long run...
Since your character is in Quidditch, for mine he could be more into wand-dueling instead.
Your character sounds like an althetic hardworker - and mine would probably be a lazy smartass (lol), I mean some happy-go-lucky spoiled brat.
Job wise, my initial rough draft had him taking over his family business - or at least just helping out his parents but rotting himself away in the comfort of his home.
The magical hospital is St. Mungo's - it's a name I can't forget easily (subtle Teen Titans TV series reference).

I'm already working on a starter post - it's actually more like a title post with the opening pictures, summary/synopsis and even brief description of the setting/timeline, maybe a list of lores we're including into this RP, and also any additional notes. I think we can also reserve the first post in the CS tab for character listings in case our number of NPCs grow as the IC progresses.

Habits/Tropes You Utilize

Most of my ideas are trope-ridden that I don't even know how to stop my own crazy rampage... However, the few that I use most frequently are:

• Deconstruction
  From genre to world to characters...you name it, I most probably have done it.

• Mind-Screw / Mind-Screwdriver
  As a big fan of two of the most mind-boggling animanga series ever existed (Neon Genesis Evangelion and Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle), let's just say that those two left such a lasting impression on me that I feel the need to do this whenever I have the chance.

• Mind Rape
  I'm a closet sadist - I don't torture anyone but my own characters. 'Nuff said.

• Ambiguous Ending
  It's my favorite kind of ending. I'm ok with bittersweet or sad endings; not fond of happy ends.

• Star System
  

  One habit of mine is to use the same character over and over.
  
  I keep the name, appearance, personality, and typically the same skillset, and then completely adapt her for the new Rp I'm in.
  
  She's actually a fairly fluid character, I'm always changing and altering her to fit whatever new direction I want to take things in, or how the RP world looks. I wouldn't use the same version in a gritty crime RP as I would a high-fantasy Rp. They're different universes, and require some differences to make them make sense.

  I do this very often too. I dunno about others, but personally I don't see the point of creating "new" characters when they don't feel different from any of my existing characters at all. /shrugs

• StarRiders is initially just the English name I came up with for the Japanese title Hoshizora no Riders, which literally means "Riders of the Starry Sky". In my original plot plan, the term "Rider" was conceived by MC in the story, to show how the suits can fly at high speed (almost like riding the stars).

Crira:

A megane bishoujo who can pack a punch (probably enough to send anyone straight to the moon manually). Oh yea, when she starts teasing you, you better run - because that's only the opening chapter to a torturous private session she's trying to reel you in. Even if you try to warn others about it, no one is going to believe you - she's smart enough to keep those things strictly behind closed doors, just that you're dumb enough to become her prey. In order to be immune you probably need to switch to being an M - and a kinky one at that.

That aside, she greatly reminds me of Kurosaki Shuri from Asura Cryin', but ten times worse and minus the trigger-happy + big breast pride parts. She might be one of the most troublesome to deal with for Sora. (He is insensitive but not a masochist.) Well, unless his common sense is so dense that she would probably have to resort to beg him notice her - at gunpoint.

Xau:

How in the world can anyone not like this girl? Not counting the appearance requirements, she can easily be a grade S tsun-bitch that any (well, almost all) male otaku would readily worship under her dagger glare (and stomping foot for added bonus). Unfortunately, that's not enough for the ever-energetic scowling cutie - sitting on top of you isn't enough to wipe that frown off her face. Try hanging yourself up and offer to be her personal punchbag. If not, how about becoming her exclusive shooting practice target?

The base of a stereotypical tsundere is there, but she has more of a wild uncontrollable side instead of the usual "awkwardly cool" type. May take some time to rub off her temper, but once Sora is able to get past her firewall I'm expecting some classic tsun-to-dere moments (of less annoying level compared to Kugimiya's characters).

We always talked about how we cherished the fun and happy times of our innocent childhood days, how we wanted to turn back time and stayed in that moment of cheerful serenity forever...and a sweet cutie to crush on from among the rose bushes. Congrats, your wish just came true - the very next day you actually got yourself a next-door-neighbor who looked exactly like your dream girl, but she's a hell lot more than what you'd bargained for. At first, you had this constant feeling that someone's watching you, and there were times some of your clothes simply disappeared from your room (uh seriously, why would anyone want to steal your pants?). Before you even knew it, suddenly the whole town was shipping you with your next-door crush. Should you be happy? Of course you were, because apparently no one's there to stop you from openly hugging her in broad daylight - which you actually tried, and regretted. Deeply so. Underneath all that aww-so-cute ball of sunny radiance hides a creepy side that made you realize you had just signed a horror contract with a demoness. Shadow Stalker? Check. Psycho Babyface? Check. Chainsaw Cutepie? Check. All you needed is a Bad Pun Generator to seal the pact.

Oh my - a pun-y stalker with a frigging gunblade that she won't hesitate to swing it into the face of anyone who snaps her out of her stalking mission. A variant of Cera as she lacks the possessive streak the Queen has on their shared crush, but nonetheless their obsession over a guy who probably would never see them that way is remarkable.

New Teen Titans - Next Guardians of Jump City
