Wrestling Entrance(Make it substantial, this is going in the shows.): Poet and the Pendulum begin playing as the lights dim down. As the song begins picking up in tempo and the singer starts singing, Death walks out slowly, sitting on the stage. Hanging his head so the vocals can be heard. Remaining seated until the music picks up rapidly. As the intensity comes through, Death pulls off the hood on his leather trench coat revealing a mohawk. "Making his way to the ring. Standing 6'1" and Weighing 325 pounds. From Saginaw, Michigan! He is the Narrator POETIC DEATH!" The crowd going wild at the introduction. Standing up he spreads open his coat and tosses it off as he reaches the ring. Rolling in he walks to the back right corner of the ring, climbing the ropes he stands on the middle turnbuckle throwing his hands up. Making his way around the ring he does it in every corner before standing in the middle.
Wrestling Appearance:

Wrestling Bio: Secretly getting training at 14 years old and getting his first match at 15 he started very young. By his 3rd match he was a champion. Having made it a hobby of his, he has held titles in every single promotion he was ever in and had thousands of matches by the time he was 30, retiring a few times along the way to focus on other projects but always ending up back in the ring.
Additional Info:
Kayfabe A literary device used in professional wrestling, kayfabe is the portrayal of staged events within the industry as "real" or "true", specifically the portrayal of competition, rivalries, and relationships between participants as being genuine and not of a staged or predetermined nature of any kind. Kayfabe has also evolved to become a code word of sorts for maintaining this "reality" within the direct or indirect presence of the general public. Suspension of disbelief, a ruse, a deception, fake.

All words and terms used in professional wrestling. Ask any wrestler if wrestling is real and there will be 3 answers you will get, almost always the answer will be yes. Others will say no but neither are most movies. Final answer will be it is as real as you make it or want it to be.

Out of all the answers, you will get 100% fake or real, the toll it takes on your body is real. For 21 years, Poetic Death has been traveling the road, amassing a following in the independent scene like few others ever have. For 12 years he has run his own wrestling company and school, teaching to an untold amount of students that have made their own fame or followed in his footsteps and remained loyal.

4 years before the present day Poetic Death closed his wrestling school down and retired from pro wrestling, for those 4 years he dedicated his life to building cars and bikes but as is the way with wrestling retirement more often than not, it is only a break. Getting the itch again Death set out to remake his name in the ring.

Everybody can have up to 2 characters in the rp. I would prefer to have around 6 to 8 characters in the rp. Yes we will have a bi-weekly wrestling show, Wins and losses will be based on 2 factors, your promo for the show and believability of your character to win.

If you feel like this rp is your kind of rp send an application, it is going to be fun.
Sounds good.
Gonna need a cocky heel, a monster heel, a cocky face, a monster face and a tweener for sure. I planned on my character being a monster face or a super babyface like Cena or Hogan.
Been close to 10 years since I have actually written an efed card, this would be my way of finally getting back into it.
Breaking Kayfabe is going to attempt to be restarted. I last tried this rp 5 years ago and outside of 4 or 5 signups it never went anywhere.

For those that are not in the know, breaking kayfabe is a pro wrestling term where you talk to fans as yourself and not your character. In modern times most wrestlers don't keep up their in-ring gimmick. Hence Breaking Kayfabe. This rp would be a setting where characters will see their characters half in their normal life and half in the ring. The in-ring will be conducted bi-weekly as a wrestling show, characters booked to wrestle on the shows will send in segments to add to the show itself will be written by me and if anybody wishes by the other roleplayers.

It will be Modern Slice of Life but it will have an element of arena in it where the roleplayers Promo's will count towards their wrestling matches for the wrestling shows. If this reboot gains enough interest I will setup the rp so people can actually join.

For the people who tried out previously, we won't have the separate character sheets, everybody will get the same CS.
