5/5 MP - 1 FP
Just as Ull'Yang thought that everything would settle down after he helped further organise the Grand Plan, more gods started voicing their opinions, aggravating the situation even further. Ull'Yang flew backwards and watched as Julkolfyr approached the parchment and added his own power, distorting even further the already unstable Plan. Ull'Yang reduced himself to spectator status and waited patiently while, from time to time, throwing glances towards Fate and Amul'Sharar, wondering if they would even intervene in the case of an all-out war between the gods.
Finishing adding his own contribution to the Grand Plan, Julkolfyr seemed to not be satisfied with doing just that and instead, started lecturing both Niciel and Logos, berating them for believing they upheld justice and goodness when they themselves make use of their powers the same way a chaotic god would. Ull'Yang had been nodding in agreement with Julkolfyr's words thus far, "Truly, we are too arrogant for our own good..." he thought and sighed.
Jvan, contrary to Ull'Yang's previous image of her, or was it him? Anyway, it seemed like she didn't care one bit about Logos and Toun attacking her and instead was more worried about the safety of Slough. She flew near the cocoon that encased the weakened goddess of Life and after attaching numerous limbs made of flesh and bone on the cocoon, she dragged it away from the other gods while declaring her intentions to protect Slough from any further harm. Illunabar also approached Jvan, seemingly offering to heal Jvan's wounds.
While all that was happening, Kyre made his move to stop Vestec from further corrupting the parchment before proceeding to add to the already enormous pool of divine power that was the Grand Plan. He then joined Jvan in protecting Slough's cocoon.
*Throb* Suddenly, excruciating pain washed over Ull'Yang's body. "What is this!"*Throb*"AAH!" Ull'Yang clawed at his chest with his remaining hand. "This...this pain! I shouldn't be feeling this!" He realised that the pain he felt was unlike the pain he felt when he lost his arm. That time he felt no more than a mere sting while now, he felt like someone or something was gnawing away at his soul! *Throb* He slowly started losing control of his senses. He started to gradually lose his hearing and his vision started to get blurry. The last thing he saw before everything went dark was Zephyrion briefly talking to Vestec and Astarte before flying away from them.
*Throb* He thought he was ready for it. He thought he had prepared himself but the moment he started feeling this vile pain deep inside his soul, he panicked. Ull'Yang shot upwards before taking a sudden turn to the left followed by another left turn. Right, right, left, up, down and diagonally. Ull'Yang was in a frenzy, flying haphazardly all over the void of the pre-Universe. *Throb.*
Ull'Yang stopped and let out an ear-piercing wail that rippled through the void, spreading in all directions. Now, completely blind and deaf, he relied on his cosmic essence in order to map his surroundings, quickly finding the two Creators by the distinct aura they emitted. "You..." Ull'Yang growled when he recognized the silhouette of Fate. He rocketed forward, flying towards his superior while letting out cries of pain. "FATE! I was wrong! I-I am not ready for this! Take my soul away! I don't care what happens, just don't let me go through this!" Ull'Yang shouted in dismay.
Suddenly, Ull'Yang felt a powerful presence intrude his awareness. "What's done is done. There's no turning back..." To others, those would have been but mere words with no other meaning. To Ull'Yang, though, they meant everything. At that moment, Ull'Yang felt a sudden force pulling at him, dragging him closer and closer to the location of the two Creators. Cracks started appearing on Ull'Yang's face and body and from within which, an unbelievable amount of heat was being emitted.
In these last moments of the pre-Universe, Ull'Yang had resigned himself to his fate. The pain that he was experiencing had numbed even the deepest and most distant corners of his soul. The only thing on his mind right now was simply hope. Hope that he would survive to see the final product of their collective efforts.
And then it happened. An enormous release of matter and energy, bringing everything that they, as gods, had scribbled on that relatively long piece of parchment to existence. Along with the explosion that gave birth to the Universe, another, much smaller explosion in comparison to the Shattering Disunity took place. Ull'Yang's body couldn't withstand the sheer amount of pressure that had slowly built up over time and with a tremendous bang, it exploded outwards, letting out enormous amounts of matter and radiation.
In the wake of the explosion, a dense cloud of matter, hydrogen, helium and other gases was formed. Slowly, the matter inside the cloud started swirling around a single point in space whilst coalescing into tiny little clumps and growing in size. As these clumps got larger, they were forced to, one by one, come together until there’s only one single clump left. The clump then proceeded to condense, even more, reducing in size but increasing in density until a certain point at which, once reached, the temperature inside was so high that everything started fusing together.
Ull'Yang came to and soon realised he was not the same as before. No... this was who he really was. The Primordial Star had been born.
@Fabulous Knight@Dawnscroll A normal god going full power on his Avatar can totally annihilate it. It's the Avatar's of the gods that will have a harder fight against his. Also, generally, living organisms will take a couple billion years to evolve and develop the ability to think for themselves to the point humans do. That is, if you guys don't just pop humans into existence. I don't really think that 200% is that excessive but if you really are against it, I can revise it or even just delete it and think of something else...
@VecWait, doesn't this mean you get a net benefit in might points over normal rate?
The base MP per turn is 4, without any Holy Sites/worshipers etc. In each of the four stages he is able to generate MP, he gets that base multiplied by the percentage. In case there are holy sites/worshippers etc, the might they generate is added after the multiplication.
WELP, Hurray for the Big Bang. Now that we've done it, It's time for me to reveal the rest of Ull's CS. So, behold...
Ull'Yang is the Primordial Star, the first star ever born into the new Universe formed by its gods. Albeit having come into existence before the creation of the Universe, he was but an empty husk, a shadow of his true self. Following the Big Bang but right before galaxies/stars and the like were formed, he underwent a dramatic change. He exploded into a brilliant and majestic hypernova, signifying the start of the endless cycle of birth, maturation, death and rebirth of the stars, essentially kick-starting the engines of the unfathomable machine that is, the Universe. Due to this, Ull'Yang's existence is deeply rooted in the Universe, forming a nigh-unbreakable link between him and all of the stars that ever were, are and will be.
STAGES OF THE REBIRTH CYCLE HIBERNATION STAGE or BIRTH
Nebula
Dust Cloud
Globule
Protostar
Brown Dwarf
The above 5 sub-stages are the beginning stages of the birth of a star. During these stages, Ull'Yang is unconscious, essentially hibernating. The duration of these stages takes up a fraction of the time of 1 cycle, merely a tenth of it. The process is automatic and thus, Ull'Yang and by extension any other god excluding the Creators, cannot alter it in any way or form. Following the hibernation stage or birth, comes the stability stage or maturation.
STABILTY STAGE or MATURATION
Main Sequence Star (abbr. MSS)
Red Giant
Entering the stability stage, Ull'Yang awakens from his hibernation and is able to exert and utilise his powers to their fullest. The stability stage takes up all of the other 90% of the time of 1 rebirth cycle. Come the end of this stage· Ull'Yang, now a Red Giant, has to expend Might Points in order to induce a supernova on himself. Through the process of the supernova, the rebirth cycle starts anew from the Nebula sub-stage and Ull'Yang's life enters the next cycle of birth, maturation, death and rebirth.
The necessary Might Points to induce a supernova are as follows:
1 - 5 Cycles --> 1 Might
5 - 10 Cycles --> 2 Might
10 - ∞ Cycles --> 4 Might
Ideally, Ull'Yang should always have enough Might to be able to induce a supernova and enter the next cycle of rebirth. However, in the case that he does not have enough Might, instead of entering the next cycle, he enters the third and last stage· the death stage.
DEATH STAGE
White Giant
Black Dwarf
In the White Dwarf state, Ull’yang is practically a faulty faucet, leaking essence and thus, severely weakened. If he is unlucky and loses all of his cosmic essence, Ull’yang will become a Black Dwarf and, unfortunately, die.
However, if he manages to not lose all of his cosmic essence, Ull’Yang will collapse further and become a Neutron Star. The reward for persevering and not losing all his energy and dying would be the fact that he would regain his lost power of a Red Giant but with two drawbacks. Firstly, his power, that is his levels, would cease to increase because he would not be able to rebirth himself ever again. He would still be able to generate MP but he just can’t increase his level anymore. Secondly, he would have to restrain his power usage as he would be risking a further collapse, turning into a ravenous Black Hole and thus, dying.
Neutron Star
Black Hole
Each successive rebirth cycle lasts 2x longer than the previous one. So for example, the first cycle will last just a mere 1 billion years. The second one will last 2 times longer, 2 billion years. The third one will last 2x longer than the second one at 4 billion years etc. Either way, if Ull’Yang manages to stray from the path of rebirth and into the path of death, he would have to appoint a successor to his position or the fate of the universe would be at stake as the death of the Primordial Star will automatically trigger the death of all stars in the universe and thus, destroying it.
Of course, there are positives to being a Primordial Star as well, to balance things out a bit. Fate brings both hardships as well as rewards.
Ull can only have one avatar active at all times. Being what he is, appearing in his true form amongst mortals would be quite...unfortunate for that solar system, to say the least. Thus, the avatar would be the connection between him and the mortal world. It will communicate his will to the mortals and it will be it that will take his place, should he deem it necessary to involve himself in the affairs of mortals (war, conflict etc.)
When comparing Ull’s Avatar with an Avatar of a god with the same level of power as Ull, the former would be several times stronger than the latter. Ull’Yang starts out with one such Avatar and each other Avatar he makes costs 5 more Might than the previous one.
Ull’Yang’s MP per turn generation also varies according to the stage he is at.
Main Sequence Star: 200% of base might per turn.
Red Giant: 150% of base might per turn.
White Dwarf: 50% of base might per turn.
Neutron Star: 100% of base might per turn.
During the rest of the stages, Ull’Yang enters hibernation and is unconscious or is dead and thus, doesn’t generate MP.
FUN FACT: You can calculate Ull’Yang’s age by following the below Rule:
xn = ar(n-1)
Where a=1 (the first term) and r=2 (the “common ratio”)
So for example, if you wanted to calculate Ull’s age at his 9th cycle, you’d just have to do
Huh... I must have missed that. x'D Vulamera did it too, then
He mostly re-wrote the sections that were detailing the creation of all the celestial bodies to fit his instincts. Aside from that, he tidied up everything once again, on top of Vulamera's edits.
