On a hit, you’ve seen a vision of the Darkness that will aid your Clutch’s efforts; learn something useful and interesting about the tasks at hand. On a 10+, you’ve seen the true face of the Darkness; ask the DM a followup question as well. On a miss, your vision is too dark to aid you; the future it foretells is grim and painful.
When you advance this move, mark a new feature for your visions. When you roll Haunting Vision, you may:

Shadowself:

You are magnetic and persuasive. You know dragonkin cannot be trusted any more than the Darkness can; you may have to traffic in lies and backroom deals to get things done. Make sure your clutch knows you are willing to sacrifice their feelings to get the job done. You are the Seer. Return from your Shadowself when a friend convinces you to trust a dragon you do not know.

Fellowship:

Skobeloff's knowledge is unparalleled within the Clutch, but they do not see the danger ahead. Take a Gem from them.

Shieldwing helped save you from the Darkness. Explain how they exemplified your virtue. Give them a Gem.

Brain over Brawn

I had sneaked out on my own to combat a danger I'd foreseen - a mistake on my part, I soon came to realize. Shieldwing the ever-vigilant came to my aid, however the monster wasn't one to be bested with brute strength alone. I told him as much, suggesting he run as I tried to pull the beast's attention away from his battered body. As I suspected from a Brynbak, he did not. Bravery truly is a curse, and so is knowledge.

What I had not foreseen was how he acted next. Instead of charging the beast again for what would have surely been his last time, he took note of our environment and suggested we cause a rock slide. Together, through teamwork, we managed to do just that - and so, the nightmare I had foreseen never came to pass. I shall keep my eye on him, this foolhardy drake who subverted my expectations.

Actually, anything that is a 7 or above is a hit! (And even a miss would have gotten you a vision, just not a very pleasant or clear one.)

Hmm... I will have to think about what Fellwing is going to see here. I'll probably include that information in the intro post.

Morgan would be Bard (probably Lore)/Hexblade Warlock while Zaikudo would be Paladin, Oath of the Crown if we want to get precise! I'm wading into melee regardless, so I think Vertigo and I wouldn't overlap much (though we can compare notes if desired to prevent it)

I'd rather we didn't have two bards in such a small group since there are so many classes to pick from, but it's not my decision to make nor a hill I'll die on. I won't be primarily melee, but will be doing it occasionally to bite/when out of spell slots as well.

Awesome! A noble elf turned dhampir it is for me then. Whispers Spirits Bard, I'm thinking.

And oh yeah, I wouldn't even want to be immune, no worries. Stuff like that's super fun.

Also! Would a Dhampir (from VRGtR, dnd5e.wikidot.com/dhampir) be allowed in this setting? The transformation could even be a result of previous exposure to Drakkenheim's eldritch magic, maybe?

Hello! Would be interested in joining if you've still got room, as a druid or a wizard most likely! Just got a few questions:

- does Tasha's rule on racial ASIs apply? (For example, could a halfling get a +2 to wisdom instead of dexterity)?
- how far back should one read up on the IC? I'm very interested in the story so far, but 290 posts is quite a lot to read through.
