It is certainly not 'optimal', but it *is* doable, depending on what you want to do with it. You could go swords or valor bard and play them more like a warrior with some magical ability

One might say your villain arc has begun. Embrace it.

Jeez. We have a lot of lightweight mechas

Also, @Dynamo Frokane, I mentioned in my characters backstory that she left Therux with both her mech and a supply truck- the kind with a big enough flatbed to carry a mech so she doesn't have to fly around in it all the time. Should I include a quick write up for the truck, or can I just make it up as we go along?
intriguing.

Guess I'll need to think on it a bit more. I much prefer 'squad' RPs overall. Depending on the size of the groups people may feel left out or get left behind.

Additionally, at least in my experience, a lot of player conflict just devolves into oneupsmanship which I'm not too fond of.
@Pathfinder Hope you don't mind, I was a fan of the Paladin you made, so I made a reference to it in my mech, and also followed the decidedly knight like naming convention.

Psst Gunther. I hate to rain on Elton's parade, but the shifts are 8 hours long. There's 3 operators per shell with one or two backup operators, so shifts are midnight to 8am, 8am to 4pm and 4pm to midnight(give or take half an hour as platoons have staggered transitions). Our squad happens to have the midnight to 8am shift.
Potentially interested. Like @Feyblue, I'd like to know if characters are going to be working together or if everyone's going to be doing their own thing. I'd rather not follow a bunch of different narratives.

And a few question about the stats: Does Air Mobility/Thrusters only apply to units that can fly? Or is it Air speed vs ground speed?

Also, I'm a bit confused with the light/heavy body and the air mobility/thruster, or at least in relation to each other. From what I can tell, Mobility/Thruster seems to trade off maneuverability with top speed, but lighter units have higher speed and agility overall. Er, its kind of hard to hit at what I'm wondering without an example I suppose:

For instance, if I was a 3 body with a 3 mobility/thruster, how would my speed and mobility compare to a 7 body 7 mob/thruster?
Interested as well, if this becomes a thing Nevermind, I see that there is a very healthy OOC already underway.
And we have begun, as requested, I have not put us immediately into our shells. Our characters are currently in the 15-20 minutes before their 'shift' starts. I hope I've described the barracks and transfer rooms clearly enough, but do let me know if there's anything that needs clarification.
