Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

Nono's super-strong stuff isn't relevant because she is pretty much not allowed to use it at all in the RP.

The exception is IF we ever get a scenario where she has that much room, enemies that warrant it, and I okay it, which is extremely unlikely.

The agreement for her acceptance was that she can't use her overkill attacks because of collateral damage.

I'd also like to point out that, out of the characters mentioned as being stronger than her... Samurai Jack has the best chance because he's so incredibly skilled he could easily fight Saber. There's certainly plenty of ways to hurt her in the RP, but pure magical attacks? Kazuma's not looking good in that department given Saber's magic resistance. ^^;

But this is the reason SE mooks have magically-enhanced laser gun things, so they can hurt characters like Saber who have extreme resistance to mundane attacks and magic.

I was out for a while so I haven't had a chance to look at any bios as well. ^^;
As soon as @duskshine749 posts again I'll continue.
I am so sorry this keeps slipping my mind. ^^; I've been doing a lot recently and I had an idea of how to start but I totally forgot.

I wish I wasn't finding it so hard to write Chie posts here. I'm kind of annoyed with myself.
@ToadRopes: I'm not sure about a character who's entirely based around a meme. ^^;

@Xenonia: It's probably a good idea not to just give it to him, yes. As long as he doesn't get the ability to just drop anything like tha anywhere he wants(again, it'd probably consume the plot dealing with it), he's fine.

@Willy Vereb: I'm somewhat concerned about the manipulation of black holes and gravity mentioned by the mecha.

@Sep: I'm.... not completely sure, to be honest I think we have a fair amount of characters who could fight him, but then I don't know much about him.
We've just now made it to the castle doors and inside.
Marisa Kirisame - Academy City

Marisa was careful to listen to everything that was said between Kakine and Misaka. So they'd be taking a route through... some kind of place where there was lots of stuff? She internally shrugged. As long as it gave her a good chance to slip away, she was fine with it. It's not like she was permanently running off, she'd be back to meet Crowley or whoever. But who wanted to just ignore such an awesome place and go off to meet some guy? She was going to explore!

And so, as soon as her two companions got going, she was happy to follow along... at least, until they got somewhere where it was nice and crowded and easy to escape...

Saber - Castle Tepes

The King of Knights paused for a moment when two newcomers appeared. The Samurai was not officially part of the UMMA, but his consistent aid was greatly appreciated by the council, and Saber respected him as a warrior. She nodded her head to him, and then Kazuma, who had also teleported in. She had not known they would be receiving further defense of this castle. Certainly, there was no way that Shadow Eternity would be able to obtain the Eye of the Serpent if it was so well-defended.

"Hello," she began, "Kazuma, Jack."

It was a simple greeting, but she was glad to see more allies. She was, admittedly, not sure how to feel about the ghostly maid, Shirly, who was currently panicking as if she had done something wrong, apologizing profusely and bowing over and over again. It took direct interference from Queen Tepes herself to calm the maid down. Shirley at last gave one last apology before moving to the Queen's side. It was only then that the Queen realized there were new arrivals.

"Oh, I didn't even know the UMMA was sending more!" she said with a fang-showing smile, "Well, I'm sure you already know why you're here, so let's get inside."

Just as everyone reached the door... it was opened by another maid. This maid, certainly, was not transparent... but closer inspection would reveal a plethora of stitches, around her wrist, her legs, her neck... and a pair of bolts in the sides of her neck, as well.

"... Ah, your highness!" she greeted the Queen cheerfully, "And guests too! Welcome home!"

Then she saluted. Well, at least for a moment, before remembering she was a maid and not a soldier and bowed quickly before stepping aside.

The interior of the castle was vast. A brilliantly red carpet stretched towards an elegant staircase leading up to the second level, and there were passageways in the dark wood walls leading off to other rooms. It gave the impression of old, elegant royalty... at least until you noticed the shelf of small, plush bat toys to one side, and a brief glimpse of a large television through one of the doorways.

"I hope you'll enjoy your stay," said the Queen, happily, as she turned to face Saber and the others, "But first, we'll need to head downstairs to the Eye's chamber."
@eemmtt: Accepted.

@Xenonia: Honestly, while he's not outright overpowered I'm concerned that it would be very easy for him to cause events that would be impossible to be uninvolved in and might end up as a big hangup, given it seems like he can cause a zombie apocalypse all the time.

... Also, The Blood Plague from Bloodborne is, in spite of being blood... born, not exactly a conventional disease you could mix with anything given what causes it in the end.
@Willy Vereb: All the characters have already been briefed, and they are not actually inside the castle. Your character, too, should have been briefed, which happened before they even entered the world.

I am actually attempting to display some of the world and characters in it, as well as the layout of the castle and the Eye of the Serpent.

While action is certainly part of this RP, there's more then just action.

The Queen is already with the characters as well, leading them to the castle.

I'm going to be posting again in a couple scenes, including the castle, again today.
I'm in charge, and we haven't even gotten into the castle or introduced the Eye of the Serpent yet.

We're not going to get to the actual attack for a little while now. It's not even a secret weapon, it's a family heirloom that, unbeknownst to the UMMA, is actually part of a superweapon. They know Shadow Eternity wants it for probably unsavory reasons, though.
Hmm, I need backstory ideas for Kazue. Her young age makes it a bit hard since it was what fit her picture. ^^;
