Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

I'm not rejecting so much as trying to get over my own biases.

As soon as I get that done I'll actually post an honest(and probably accepting) assessment of the character.
@Sockpuppet: I've just got my own reservations about accepting any version of ORT, similarly to my bias against the new DMC game, though not based on dislike. I'll need to think on this. Though I will say the restrictions on Giorno(who is no longer in the game) were very strict.

@IncredibleBee: Accepted.
@Strafe: Oh, right, um, those backstory ideas you suggested seem like at least one of them might work!
@KoL: Probably very, she doesn't really suspect Charlotte, eh-heh.
Her meal was rather rapidly vanishing. For someone with such a small body, it certainly couldn't be said that Milly had a small appetite. This was yet another example she used to say she was still growing. After all, surely she wouldn't eat this much if she wasn't still growing, right? Right? That had to be it. Of course. Also, even if Charlotte had been messing with her a bit... this still came out pretty good. Maybe she wouldn't rig a flashbang to the other girl's door...

... And then, as she headed out with the others, she felt hands on her(depressingly flat) chest, squeezing what little was actually there.

"K-kyah!"

Almost instantly her cheeks flushed, growing red-hot with embarrassment. They... they were definitely female hands too... which narrowed down the suspects and also meant she would not be shoving a grenade down their pants. It obviously wasn't the harpy, she didn't have hands... before Milly could turn around, the perpetrator was already gone, and inside, the small girl felt rather conflicted.

Yes, it was an embarrassing intrusion, but... it meant someone already appreciated her chest! Yes, someone saw what would soon be born there! Embarrassed anger, or embarrassed pride?! Gah, this was so difficult to figure out.

"... Well... well, obviously... th-they had to think it was worth it..."
To each their own and all, but it's hard for me to be fair when my own opinions are getting in the way and I need to try and get past that.
@ToadRopes: Well, it's less that and more I'm not quite sure how you'd adapt the medium to prose is the thing.

Like I said, nothing particularly wrong with the character himself.

@Sep: If that's how you feel, you can reconsider at any time though.

@Nobiscum Deus: Well... I'll be honest, um, I really like the original Dante and the version in the new game is... not at all fitting with what I liked about the original. I'll need to try and get past that.
@Sep: Well, given this is the multiverse and a vast majority of characters have magical or otherwise powerful weaponry, I would think that more stuff could injure him.

As long as you keep that in mind try writing a signup and we'll see.

@Nobiscum Deus: I will be honest and say I'm going to need to overcome some personal biases in order to fairly judge this one.

@Raineh Daze: I'm not seeing anything any worse then any other other characters and Shadow Eternity desperately needs characters, accepted.

@ToadRopes: There's nothing intrinsically wrong with this character, but I'm not sure how well a character from a musical play would work out.

@Sockpuppet: I'm extremely wary of any version of ORT. It may have recently been knocked off of the Nasuverse's top three strongest, but that doesn't mean it's immediately acceptable. Even in heavily-nerfed magical girl form. I'm going to need to think on this.

@Orcus: No, but he's been rejected previous due to past experience with how he's treated as a license to metagame rather frequently every single time he's been played. I'm also not a fan of how his fourth wall-breaking is usually played, as "truth" where he knows everyone's in an RP rather then him still believing they're in a comic.
When there's a Charlotte post, I'll be able to post too, eh-heh.
Chie blinked, and watched as Arienne went into an unexpected discussion of her own feelings on what it is to be a soldier. To be honest, Chie suddenly found herself reminded of Ryoko herself, when she had a monologue about what it is to be a real soldier before fighting Kaiser Donvald in the core of the Infinite Angel Machine. The OVA adaptation of that scene was pretty amazing, especially the part where Ryoko killed him by ramming him right through the reactor with her frame's Impact Arm. But that was beside the point, it was really kind of intense and for a few moments Chie couldn't help but fall silent. Well... then Arienne mentioned wanting to see the games... and showing off Ryoko was always awesome! Some people didn't get some of the more obscure gameplay features or the secrets, but that didn't change how amazing the games were!

... And Corina had heard about it too! Maybe these people weren't so dumb... of course, she was also saying something similar to Arienne, though less intensely.

"... Well... I still have an edge when it comes to piloting mecha!" she insisted, "But it sounds like you might have some idea of how to do it... I'm still the best, though!"

She gave a confident smile. For once it was not coupled with a sarcastic comment. "And I can show off Ryoko, too!"

With that she went to follow along. She had to admit she was hungry, still...
