Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

@AtomicNut: Thinking on this more, my remaining worry is really that it can't work on PC's and seems to be all he can do, so he might be a bit... limited.

I mean, the only reason it's potentially acceptable is that he has to manually insert the wires from my understanding, in any case.

@Lmpkio: It's out. No Mental Refitting.

Mind Control is out because there's no reason for it not to effect PC's and it takes control away from other players. If it can be used from range, on anyone, it's out. I'm even still pretty wary of anything else that could be labeled "mind control" as well.
Mind control is not allowed. If you can nerf it away a character can still work, but otherwise, um, yeah.

@Lmpkio: Going to have to express my skepticism here.

For one thing I don't think it's a good idea to feature the mental refitting at all, I have some misgivings about the "may get even more powerful then she ever was" part though I do feel we have characters that can beat her, and, er... mentioning her... disturbing tendencies to prey on others in a sexual manner as well, while it IS part of the character, gives me some misgivings as well.
You really don't need to ask, it absolutely is. ^^;
@PKMNB0Y: As discussed, I think he's fine.

@Flamelord: I don't see anything wrong ability-wise but we'll see how Roxas feels about that.
Hmm... actually who has posted in Team Onryo again?
The necromancer sighed, though it was impossible to see what his expression was beneath the mask.

"Zalo, I said take care of her," he commented, simply. The lightning mage's gauntlets crackled, clearly some form of magical tool he was using to bypass the need to cast a spell.

"I didn't expect a little girl to react that fast, y'know," he commented with a shrug, before raising his hand again. Only his second attack never came. An armored foot hit his back with a crack of impact, and his eyes widened as he tumbled forward, hitting his side and rolling once before lying still, on his front. At least, for a moment. He quickly pushed himself up off the ground, eyes burning with anger and wide with shock. "What the hell, how'd you get down here so fast?!"

"Markas must have fallen," replied the necromancer, simply, with an unconcerned shrug, "I imagine Caloh must have been slain as well, looking at how many of them are here. How bothersome."

He sighed again, shrugging his shoulders. Zalo, who had gotten back to his feet, seemed stunned at the news.

"Both of them?! No way..." he exclaimed, shaking his head. He raised one crackling gauntlet. "How the hell did you bastards manage that?! I'll fry you!"

Waves of lightning erupted from his fingertips. As they did, the necromancer simply snapped his fingers to send the skeletons charging.

Meanwhile, Tili ducked low, her eyes still fixed on her sister, now. She had to save her, she had to get to her, but between her was the lightning and the skeletons...!

Kyphi squirmed in her bindings, letting out some muffled sounds when she saw Tili.
@Araby264: Sorry to hear that. : (
I don't think I can update there yet.
Two characters is the limit.
"New cookbooks at Kourindou?" Youmu asked, tilting her head slightly to one side. Some new ones might have been fun... after all, Youmu had to admit she'd been getting a bit more stale when it came to cooking. It didn't really help that she hadn't been training as a cook. She'd been trained in the blade, it's just that gardening was a bit less complicated and varied then cooking. However, she'd learned quite well to make a few different recipes. But she wanted to make, well, more. More variety. Yuyuko had complimented her cooking, as well, and that had been a rather nice feeling.

"I haven't been to Kourindou recently," the small, white-haired girl replied, shaking her head slightly. "If there's a chance that there's anything like that around, though, I think I might have to."

She gave the immortal a pleasant, polite smile. After all, she didn't have any bad feelings towards the immortal, and forgetting the embarrassing reaction she'd had to the attention to her phantom half earlier was practically paramount in this situation. Youmu wanted to make sure that things went well. "Thank you, Fujiwara-san."

With that she began to head towards Kourindou.
