Shiver happened to be in the jail stairwell when Omega told Sigma. She had done enough research to know who Aaron was and that the three musketeers here had been close. She bit her lip and tears welled up in her eyes as she heard them grieving. Sometimes she felt like she wasn't really in her life just sitting on the sidelines watching crap happen, like now. She wiped the tears away from her eyes and she went back upstairs. She really wished Cammy were here but she was so volatile that she was afraid to tell her anything that might upset her which meant she just carried more stress. Shiver felt like she was alone except for when she was with Cal. Enyo and Ro'kun had each other and now she just felt alone.
Wick and Kronus were in the courtyard and Shiver teleported to a beach in the southern hemisphere. Wicked sensed her daughter's mood and called her via the angel telepathy.
"Shiver? Where are you?" "I'm in heaven mother, I'm somewhere on a beach." Shiver scrunched her feet into the sand as the water hit her feet and breathed in the salty air. It centered her.
"Mother? Why did the creator change my powers? I loved having ice and super strength." Wicked seemed not to know this.
"What do you mean changed your powers? He didn't. What powers do you have now?" "Electricity and and impenetrable skin. I lost my powers the day we killed Flame and I electrocuted myself to get my powers back but it changed them." "Come to me." Shiver teleported to her and her mother put her hands over her chest and Shiver glowed and she turned slightly bluish white again. Shiver felt so good she couldn't remember ever feeling like this before.
Her entire body felt new. Her scars disappeared so did any sun damage. Her face and skin was transformed into a certain healthiness that only the creator could give. She looked at her mother and said,
"Wow! I feel so...new" Suddenly Madonna's song 'Like a virgin' ran through her mind. She started to ask but decided not to. She would find out later with Cal. She took his so now he could take hers. She grinned at this thought. Shiver looked at her Dad and grinned. She put the flat of her hand out and she slid on ice for the first time in months. Shiver laughed and shrieked with glee into her comlink that she forgot was on. Her happiness knew no bounds as she picked up the ambulance that was parked at the medical building.
"Is anyone else having power problems?" Shiver shook her head.
"Not that I know of. Thank you so much mom." Shiver stopped.
"Wait. Am I going to have the same problem as before?Are they going to top out when used too much? Last time it did that I almost got killed." Wicked shook her head.
"No, you started having those problems when I accidentally irradiated you as a child." Shiver looked shocked. Wicked explained. "
It was an accident and you got in the way. Cambria was having a bit of a meltdown and I went to stop her and you teleported in between us. You were only about 9 or so. After that I sent ..." "me to live with Bellare." Shiver nodded remembering.
"Hey! You must have given my memory a boost because I couldn't remember a lot of things that suddenly are there."Wicked watched her daughter and she went into the office and picked up the HQ PA system.
"Attention, I need every staff member and teammate to meet me out front asap." Wicked watched as they started to show up porting in, flying in speeding or just walking in. She went down the line and healed them one by one. She cleared up diseases, some were undiagnosed and some were known. She removed a curse off of one staffer. She fixed everything. There were powers that were half gone or messed up. She healed everything, memories, bodies, powers.
Kronus stared completely in love with his wife. This was the real Wicked. She was obsessed with fighting and training because it had been the Flame side that fulfilled the prophecy the Frost side was all about healing and helping. She demanded that Shiver bring Cambria and Miles in with Bell too. Nodding Shiver disappeared but returned moments later with the trio.
Wicked took a happy and crying Cambria into her arms and she began to heal her. Wicked stopped and asked.
"Have you seen a doctor about the baby?" Cambria's fear came to the surface.
"What's wrong with the baby?" She looked at Kronus and she told him through the angel connection. Shiver heard of course and she yelled,
"Mom, you have to fix it!" Wicked looked at her. Cambria looked at Shiver,
"TELL ME WHAT IT IS!" Cambria was gonna lose it. Wicked negated her powers. Wicked closed her eyes and asked the creator to send her a sign if she could save this baby. Cambria was getting really upset and she went to freeze Wicked and when she couldn't she freaked out.
"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO ME? WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY POWERS?" Shiver saw Miles visibly flinch.
Shiver shot ice out of her hand and Cammy looked at her.
"But how? You don't ..." That was when she realized Wicked's powers were different. She was healing and who knew what other powers she had now.
"Aunt Wick what are your powers now?" "Healing, of everything living, I can remove curses, hexes, diseases, injuries, memory issues, power problems, you name it and I can heal it for others and for myself. I also negated your powers, they are still there. I can make force fields and negate powers by touch or force field. I also can phase like you can." Cammy calmed down and said,
"Please, what is wrong with my baby?" "I asked the creator for his direction as we are all his. Your baby is missing half of it's brain." Cambria grabbed onto Miles and almost collapsed. Kronus reached over and helped Miles with her. Cambria was shaking from the news. She was terrified that her baby would be given a death sentence. A few moments later a golden light shone above Wicked's head and body. Her head tipped back to hear the verdict. Her eyes glowed even after the light left. She put her hands over Cammy's belly and the baby became fully healed and so did Cammy. Her hormones corrected and she felt so much better.
"More vitamin C Cammy. Your baby will be fine." Cammy hugged her so tight she was worried she wouldn't let her go. Bell stepped up and hugged Wicked and Kronus and then Miles and Cammy and Shiver.
