Shiver smiled as she got her suitcase off of the luggage drop and waived down a cab. She was on her way home. She had done a lot in six months. She could also feel her mother missing her terribly. There was a certain lightheartedness about her these days. She had not used her powers except in rare circumstances and she had kept her angels wings hidden. Shiver had been living as a normal powerless girl. She did do some new things while living amidst real normal everyday people not used to living with powers. She had gotten a job as a dancer. She had learned the hula and was hired to dance for the shows. She had loved that. She had stayed for most of the season in the islands then she hopped over to the Caribbean islands and she got a job there as a cruise director.

Shiver looked at the compound as they pulled into it. Harry, the guard saw who it was and came running over and hugged her making her laugh. It was a beautiful sound, it was so light and free. He took her suitcase in and straight to her room.

Shiver went straight to the office. She walked in and Liz smiled and exclaimed "Shiver! Oh my goddess Enyo is going to flip out!" She hugged Shiver. "I love what you did to your HAIR!" Shiver smiled. "I thought actual blond might be nicer than just white and frosty." Shiver grabbed her comlink from the wall and put it on and announced. "Hello, I'm home. Is anyone here?"

Wicked walked in and smiled brightly. "I was keeping my ear to the ground for you. "How was Hawaii? You are so tanned!" After a few pleasantries she headed to her room. She wondered where Omega was and what happened to Sigma after she left. She had forgiven Enyo somewhat...it was still a sore subject for her. And what did Ro'kun and Cal do after she left? She just left. She knew she was going to have some explaining to do.

Shiver is gone for the moment. She has gone to find herself. She is not ready for the craziness that the HQ turned her life into.

We are going to skip ahead 6 months.

The Walking Dead-From the beginning -Closed

TIME SKIP 3 DAYS

The next 3 days were focused on repairs making and repairing weapons and burying the dead. Nikki and a couple of the guys went out on a supply run. Nothing exciting happened and all returned safe and sound. Matt decided to take Kat to Nolan's apartment. He knew Nikki had taken out the one walker in there. Nikki said there were clean sheets in the back closet and she and James went there to clean up the place and make it nice. The WEDDING would be the following day.

Wicked Frost and Shiver

Wicked Frost could feel her daughter's turmoil and pain. Right now she was so full of self doubt and grief it worried her mother. "Kronus. I need you to watch over things here at the HQ. Something is wrong with Shiver and she needs me." Wicked walked outside right near the garage and she took one step and her full wings unfolded and she was a majestic creature made for the skies. She took off at top speed and made a beeline for the arctic.

Upon seeing the ice castle Wicked slowed down and landed nearly in front of her child. She calmly folded her wings inwards and took in the situation and walked up to Shiver and hugged her. "Shiver you need to be around your family right now?"

Shiver stood up "Who is that? The family I thought I had hates me or lied to me in such a way that I don't know if I can forgive her."

"Enyo had to keep it a secret. She..." Shiver looked at her and the truth. "You knew!" She accused her walking backwards. Wicked followed her. "Shiver wait...You don't understand."

"Don't I? Bellare could tell you but Enyo couldn't tell me? Michael and Sigma hate me. Ro'kun is the only one not making me crazy. I can't talk to Cambria because all she does is cry and I don't mean normal crying I mean the girl is plugged into the sprinkler system crying. I just met my dad who is not the dad I thought I had. All this on top of running the HQ that you left me when Cam and I killed you. Yeah that was a great thing to make us do MOM."

"You know what's the worst of it? I don't know who I am anymore. I wanted to tell you something. I had you added onto everything. The lawyers called this morning and everything is set. You are going to take over the HQ again."

"I'm going to the beach. I can't figure out who I am with being responsible for everything all the time. I want to be a normal girl. I don't want to call someone's mother and tell her that I couldn't keep her daughter from getting killed." Shiver's voice broke and she said. "I don't want to punish someone and watch someone I trusted do something worse. And I love....it doesn't matter who I love. No matter what I do people get hurt."

She put her comlink in her mother's hand and hugged her. "Goodbye mom." Shiver teleported out and Wicked dropped to her knees at the powerful emotions that went through her.
