Nikki looked up as Vincent and Erin showed up. She felt Erin against her as she clung to her brother. She hadn't seen them in a few days and was wondering where they had been hiding. Erin was obviously scared of the man and oddly, Vincent almost complimented her. She looked up at him and shook her head while smiling just enough for him to notice.

Nikki called on Harry who was one of the guards on duty outside. "Harry? Do you see anyone else out there? Take a couple of the guys and do a perimeter check." Darius was called to guard the front door and James and Robert went outside to help.

"So tell me what happened to your friends. I'm going to disarm you now. You understand why of course." She frisked him and only found one gun on him.

A few minutes later Darius came back and said "Perimeter is clear boss." Nikki smiled. "Thank you Darius." She sat down at the table and asked "So tell us how you got here."

Nikki handed Gracie to Jenna. "Come in with me but stay in the background. I don't know who this guy is and if it's a trap I don't want Grace stuck in there. The first sign of trouble and you get her out of there and upstairs." Jenna nodded tickling the baby.

Nikki walked in to see James getting the old man a bottle of water. "Hello, I hear you got separated from your people? I'm Nikki Hyatt. What is your name?"

When the old man lifted his head and looked at her he smiled and she guessed it was a smile that normally got him what he wanted. She could see the callouses on his hands and the strength in his arms. Most men his age didn't make it through Day 1. Nikki wasn't sure he was trustworthy. She looked at Jenna who immediately left the room and went upstairs with Grace.

Ok I'll try to post tomorrow after I read a bit more. I'm still a little lost on the council of elders and Where Dracula is headed. How did he come back to life? and who is Deon?

Where are Mithius and Belvedere. Where is it that Dracula is going to be? That is where I should put Nora on her way to. I read all of page 9 so I think I have a decent grip on what is going on, sorta.
