Nora looked at Rick in a kind of amazement. This made her feel awful and she took his hand in hers and she kissed his hand. "My love, the most precious thing you have is your humanity. It makes you appreciate life and all of the little things in it. If I were given the chance to do it over I would avoid becoming a vampire at all costs. I realize I have been selfish I should never have asked you to give up your humanity, your mortality. It is what made me who I am today. The monster that can not die a normal mortal's death." He started to protest her assessment of herself. "No, I am and I know it. I am not delusional. I want you for myself until I am gone. As it is I am already over 500 years old. I can't ask that of you. I will not turn you. I'll not take that from you. It would be wrong of me." Nora could see him visibly relaxing a bit.

The fence is heavy duty chain link and in places it is also supported by wooden fencing. The construction area down the street would be a good place to get supplies. Don't forget however that they had raided it so there could easily be replacement parts to things already put together inside the school.

Piper looked up at Grant. "That is beautiful." she said softly.

Piper could smell so many animals in the area. She sniffed a little and looked at Grant. "Care to hunt with me? I have found that neither half of me enjoys food cooked as much as I used to when I was human. You must be hungry as well. What do you eat most? I know most do what they can to have a fresh blood supply of human blood and that is fine. I've never had that luxury before. I would offer you mine but... I believe it is poison to you I think."

Piper looked down and realized she had not dropped his hand from when she pulled him outside. She blushed and let go of his hand using it to point at the large forest of animals. She waited for him to tease her about her food choices. "What animal shall I, or we if you wish to come, hunt tonight?"

NARRATIVE

What Happened

The grounds at the school were covered within minutes by walkers. The sounds of the explosion and the gate being rammed by James brought walkers out in the open. There are no fences blocking the front of the school anymore. No one can get out safely. They would be bitten before they got ten feet away.

What needs to happen

They would have to have the gate fixed but this would take a little time. They need noise to distract the walkers away from the school. Plus they would need to get guys out there fighting to take out the walkers while the fence is being repaired and the gate as well.

Nora's eyebrows raised in shock of his lack of manners. "Well Mr. Holiday I am sorry if my personal relationship in my own home makes you uncomfortable. And since you brought up the manner less point of your nose, do you wish to know what I know? I know that your lady friend here is also part vampire and believe me sir, if she were not she would be receiving a much colder reception. Now Miss...I'm sorry what is your name?" Piper had been almost ready to run til she realized that Nora already realized she was also vampire. "Piper Lance is my name."

Nora nodded in approval. "Miss Lance you may stay in the room next to Mr. Holiday's if you like." Piper concerned about the Blood Compact's destruction asked. "Miss Nora, do you know anyone who might be able to tell us more than what the news is telling us? Or how to fix it or where to go? I am truly scared of having to live on the run for the rest of my life." Piper asked her.

Nora nodded slightly. "I have left messages for several people that I know that might be able to help us. I will let you know if I hear something." Piper nodded. "Thank you Miss Nora." Piper grabbed Grant's hand and pulled him into the kitchen where Barkley handed her a plate of food. She was starving so she sat down and ate it. She was finished in just a few minutes and she looked up at Grant.

"Grant? Did you really have to be so rude?" The look on his face said that he didn't realize that he had been. Piper pulled him outside and said. "It was extremely rude to mention that you knew she had had sex with her beau. Especially since you mentioned it as a scent. I think you were lucky she didn't kill you on the spot. I would have been very upset to lose my only friend so soon."

Piper looked up at the sky and sighed softly. "It's mesmerizing isn't it, the moon. I never used to pay any attention to it. Now I do. I have to or people die."

Ranna was tired. She was tired of the stares, the glares and the comments she was getting from the other tribe members. She was walking towards Kyle's office and she looked up seeing Alexandra, Tokala and Ruin with some new woman. She had no intent of letting Kyle allow her reputation to be destroyed because he didn't want people to
know that she was helping him kill monsters.

She had looked up to see the others further up the hill on a grassy plain she would have waved to them but none of them had made any move to include her or talk to her or anything since she had gotten there. The attempts she had made were ignored or treated with disdain. It was really upsetting to her but her position had made other people in her tribe jealous so she chalked to up to that. When she got to Kyle's door she raised her hand and stopped in mid air. She pulled her key out and used it locking the door behind her. She was well aware he was in there as the guards had been talking about it.

Ranna walked in to see the place a bit messy but she was focused on Kyle. She was upset with the entire situation. She walked over to the bed she saw that he was asleep. Quite tired herself she decided to move over to the other side of the bed and cuddle up behind him. It had been a long day and it was about an hour til dinner. She hadn't intended to fall asleep but she did.
