Ingrid had been keeping tabs on Krystan out the front window. She knew that the girl could handle herself but she still didn't like her being out there on her own especially now that it was getting dark out. Violet had taken up residence on the couch and Enzo was sitting next to her. Ingrid thought they were cute together. Grace was sleeping on Ethan. Ingrid smiled and looked around for Jack. He seemed to be missing. She heard Nikki's and Matt's voices outside and she breathed a little easier. She was thankful, she was not ready to try to lead this group on her own. Going on her own or in a small group was one thing. Taking on a very pregnant girl and a toddler were entirely different things.

Ingrid opened the door to see Jack leaving and Matt and Nikki stopping him with questions. "Hey what is going on?"

Alex left his progeny watching over the boy. He slipped quietly into the bathroom and disrobed quietly. When he slipped into the shower behind Claudia she moaned already ready for him. He became frenzied with her moaning in his ears as her inhibitions lowered he became wilder and more aggressive. His eyes shone brightly in hers as his movements communicated what he wanted her to know. That he loved her and she was his for all time.

Casey Green-Werewolf

Casey smiled hearing Darric's voice and she went straight to him and when she saw the towel she ran her hands over his body teasing him as she did. "We were buying clothes for Alex's new progeny. A new vampire girl...Shade seemed to be hopeful that they would be a couple. I'm not sure how I feel about this though. That means Alex had to kill her though doesn't it?" The rest of her thoughts were distracted as she pulled the towel off of Darric. As she let her hands roam she asked, "How did your talk with Caius go?" She murmured under her breath.

Nikki and Matt walked up to the door of Jack's place just as he came out ready to go on a mission of some sort. Nikki was quiet. She was trying not to think about what happened. Matt was with her carrying a bunch of their gear. Nikki looked up at Jack's face and saw something she didn't want to see. It was a mixture of determination and despair. "Where are you off to?" She grabbed his arm and stopped him in front of her. "I know that look in your eye. You don't expect to be coming back alive do you?" She looked at Matt and said, "You stay with Grace, I'll go with Jack."

Matt didn't like this idea. "Where are you going Jack? What is your mission?"

Alex threw his arms around her and shifted her and the young boy onto his lap and into his arms. "I will love you always and I'll never let you go, I promise. And we'll take care of this little guy. Hopefully he can accept me as a father. Humans did this to him. I intend to make them pay. His parents were killed on order of the mob. The vampire council doesn't interfere often when it comes to werewolves but if it is a child they will make an exception. It is one of the reasons I work for them." He kissed her tenderly as she held the little boy in her arms.

Casey Green-Werewolf

"Darric? Darric are you home yet?" She let herself into the apartment and wondered what was keeping him. She was later than expected and she wasn't too certain what to do in a situation like this. She picked up her cell and dialled him knowing it was entirely possible he was wolf now and unable to answer his cell.

"More than you can imagine." Alex reached over and kissed her deeply. "It was actually Kitty that put the idea in my head. Calling you Mrs. North and Mom just sounded right. I've known that I wanted you the first time we met when you walked into the club." Sara and Shade were listening and Sara got tears in her eyes she was so happy. Alex was thoroughly a nice guy in her mind.

Alex smiled and said, "So is that a yes? Could you stand being the wife of such an intimidating vampire as me?"

"You know that would make perfect sense. Each of the powers manifesting are helpful in some way and are probably something tied into who we are or at least one of our strengths. Kwan was already fast with her martial arts and her career stunts. You, well look at you. It's not any wonder why you would get a strength boost. I was a lifeguard in the summer and I swam all the time." Her brow furrowed and creased in annoyance. "I still have no idea what is going on with Grayson though."

The commander came over and put his hand on Harley's back and she jumped and winced in pain. "Oh ouch be careful commander I hurt my back in the shower. When my power for water first showed itself it blasted me across the showers and into the wall and sprayers. my back and hip are black and blue." The commander put his hands on her back and she felt a healing power run warmth through her body and it took away all of the bruising and made her feel wonderful again. She turned around. "Oh my god! You can heal! That is the best gift of all! Thank you!"She hugged him tightly.

"Are we going to get those doors open like we wanted to today? Are any of the camera's outside working at all?"

The commander nodded, "That is my intent. Hey we could use some help with the water system too so we might be needing your gift soon too in the bunker."

"No problem whatsoever I'm probably using it the most anyway." She grinned.
