"You're very much welcome." Yavanna told her with a soft smile. She was located on the bed roll besides Fili's. She was glad she could help; if she hadn't helped Saeril...her healing process might have slowed them down. And Thorin would probably not be too happy about that.

Kili carefully helped Saeril, making sure she didn't put too much pressure on her leg. After he helped her sit down, he took a place beside her.

As night sky got darker. It wasn't long before most of the company fell asleep. Including Yavanna, she was laying curled in the direction where Fili was on his bed roll. Thorin had given out orders, who would take turns watching.

For a long while, it was quite. Bilbo laid there in silence...not asleep. But waiting for an opportunity when everyone was fully asleep...before he could leave. It wasn't long, before he saw Bofur, whom was on guard...doze off too. Bilbo had got up quietly...packing up his things quietly and quickly...he then grabbed his walking stick and started to sneak towards the entrance. Stepping over, the snoring dwarves..he almost tripped over one. As he was about to step out of the cave...Bofur seemed to be awake.

"Where do you think you're going?" he asked Bilbo. Now standing up.

"Back to Rivendell." Bilbo said looking at the Dwarf "Thorin was right, I shouldn't have come. And he was right...I am going home." he said.

"But you're one of us." Bofur said.

Bilbo shook his head "I am not." he said with a sigh. Bofur seemed to get what Bilbo was feeling. "I get it, you're home sick." he told the Hobbit. "I understand." he gave him a soft smile. Thorin woke up, his eye half open as he heard the conversation.

"No you don't get it...none of you do." Bilbo said, raising his voice slightly. "You're Dwarves. You're used to life on the road, never belonging anywhere...you don't have a home." In that moment, Bilbo had been feeling frustrated. He realized the harshness of his words.. "I am sorry...I.." he tried to apologize.

Bofur had just sighed, shaking his head. "No you're right." he said glancing at the group "We don't belong anywhere." he said before he glanced back at Bilbo. "I wish you all the luck in the world." he told him, placing his hand on his shoulder. Giving Bilbo a slight squeeze. Just then he noticed something shimmering in a blue light. "What's that?"

Bilbo glanced down, seeing the shimmering coming from his sword. He pulled it out...it was glowing blue. Just then shrieks could be heard.

Thorin sat up, seeing the sword glowing "Wake up!" he growled out, which seemed to wake everyone up.
Yavanna smiled softly as Saeril, as she had finished healing her wound. She slipped the vile back into her pouch. "Thank you." she told her softly, feeling flattered at her Kindness. Kili watched her a little stunned. "How...how did you do that?" he asked curious. Yavanna turned her head towards the youngest Durin Heir, with a warm smile. "I am a healer, among my people. Just good old elvish medicine." she told him with a smile. "Just rest your leg, it should be alright in a few days time...but don't try and do anything too much with it." she told Saeril softly, she didn't want her to be injured again.

After Fili set up the rolls, she sat down on one of them.
Yavanna looked at Kili and Fili "Could you help Saeril inside, don't let her walk on that bad leg." she said softly. It would be better examine, inside of the cave...where it was warmer and safe. Hearing Yavanna's request, Kili stood up and wrapped his arm around Saeril, helping her upright...whilst he and his brother helped her inside of the cave...carefully...Kili made sure, she didn't put her weight on the bad leg.

Once inside, Yavanna had them lay Saeril down...so she could have a better look at the leg...stretched out. Her star light, illuminated the cave; in a bright beautiful glow. Yavanna pulled out a small vile, from a pouch, that was attached to her belt. She poured a few drops of the clear liquid onto her fingers...before she gently placed them onto her wound. The liquid was warm and would probably tingle against Saeril's injured leg.

The young she-elf then began to chant something in Elvish. It was a healing spell. Yavanna was one of the skilled healers in Rivendell. She had spent pretty much her entire life; learning about healing magic. She never knew, when it would come in handy. Just like it did right now. The liquid that was on Saeril's wound...stopped the pain in her leg...the spell slowly fixing her wound. It'd take a little while of recovery time, before Saeril's leg would feel 100% better...but the spell had done most of the healing; without it. Saeril would have been in pain for long while, without being able to use it fully.
Thorin was surprised, when the hand of the young elf had grabbed him and helped pull him to safety. Thorin just looked at Yavanna...in silence for a few moments. Not really saying anything.

"Thank god." Balin sighed in relief, seeing everyone including Bilbo was safe. "We almost Lost our Burglar."

Thorin glanced down at the Hobbit and then at Balin "He's been lost ever since he left home. He shouldn't have come. He has no place among us here!" Thorin said, somewhat harshly. Still doubting, that Bilbo being with them, was a good idea. He then noticed the cave "Dwalin!" he called out, nodding his head towards the cave entrance.

Yavanna frowned at Thorin's coldness towards Bilbo. Giving the Hobbit a sympathetic smile. She then walked over to Saeril whom collapsed on her knee. "Here...let me have a look at that." she offered, to her with a smile.

Kili sighed at his uncle, shaking his head. Sometimes, he felt ashamed that he was related to Thorin. Especially when his uncle could be so cruel. He kneeled down by Saeril, as she collapsed again. "I don't think, she can walk." he told Yavanna.

Yavanna looked at Kili, with a soft smile "She will be able to, once I heal her...but she needs to take it easy for a bit." she reassured him.
It all seemed to happen so fast; the fight between the Giants was getting worse. Instead of 2, there were 3 or 4 now. Yavanna wasn't really sure, since they all looked the same and sometimes it seemed, like there were more of them, than she anticipated.

She was keeping Bilbo back, stopping him from falling; as the cliffs began to separate. The two groups were standing on one knee/leg of the Giants. Yavanna looked worried, as she saw Kili separated from her and Fili. However, when Kili's group seemed to be safe...the other group, were still stuck on the knee. And it seemed like the giant was loosing the battle.

Kili gasped as he felt Delva grab onto his coat. He felt relieved, that she had a hold off him. But he watched in fear and worry, where his elder brother was. He took a few deep gasps of breath, when they landed on the safe path...near a cave. "Delva?" he looked worried, seeing her collapse on her one knee. "Maybe we should rest." he suggested. It was getting darker...and, with Saeril's injury it seemed. She needed a little time out. He then glanced over at the other half of the company...who were still holding on for the dear life, on the Giant.

But the giant was beginning to tip back, his knee getting closer and closer to another path of walls. Thorin looked panicked "Noooo!" he yelled out...but it was too late. The knee collided with the wall, where the others were on...Before the giant...no with no one standing on him...began to collapse...falling down in his defeat. "Fili!" Kili and Thorin yelled out. "Yavanna!" Kili also panicked; fearing for the Princess.

Thorin made his way down the path...and seeing the rest of the company in a heap, on the safe pathway. Yavanna was on top of Balin and Fili, groaning from the impact. But Bilbo was no where to be seen.

"Where's Bilbo?" Yavanna asked, as she finally managed to get up onto her feet. Helping Fili and Balin up.

Poor Hobbit, was hanging from the edge. His landing was not so smooth either and left him hanging off the edge..he was panting...his hands slowly slipping. Suddenly Kili noticed Bilbo hanging over the edge. "Over here...Bilbo hold on." Kili called out. He made his way over to the edge...kneeling down...he reached down trying to grab Bilbo...but he couldn't reach down. Thorin made his way over to the edge aswell...he stepped down briefly onto a lower part of the cliff...managing to grab Bilbo...helping him upwards into the awaiting Arms of Kili and Dwalin. But he himself slipped...Kili gasped, as he grabbed onto his uncle's arm in time. Kili didn't even notice...but Yavanna was by their side...and had also grabbed onto Thorin...helping the Dwarves pull their King back to safety.
It wasn't the first time, Yavanna had sneaked out on an adventure. Even if her father would worry; she was sure that Gandalf or someone would reassure him; she was doing a good deed. And she had longed to get out of Rivendell...seeing another bit of the world, she had not yet seen. Yavanna smiled warmly at young Fili and his brother. Before her smile was aimed at Saeril. "Of course." she said softly; with a nod towards Saeril's warning.

Yavanna had kept beside the two Durin boys, and Saeril at the front. As she led the company through the paths she knew. A few of the other Dwarfs, were glad to have new company of Yavanna along with them. But they probably would not show it, like Kili, Fili and Saeril did.

The young she-elf talked among their little group. Kili was curious about her life in Rivendell; telling him a few stories, The time seemed to pass.

With the thunder storm gaining on them. Yavanna had her hood up again. The path across the cliffs were rather tight...so they had to go one after the other...carefully. Keeping their backs to the back of the cliffs. As a few rocks crumbled beneath them...Biblo's footing slipped...almost knocking Yavanna down with him...whom was beside him.

Kili was one of the few whom reached out, grabbing a hold of the Princess and Bilbo. Balin caught Bilbo pulling him back towards them. "Careful Master Baggins." Just then, the rocks came hurling towards them. Yavanna gasped, as she looked at Saeril worried, seeing the debris falling on her back. "Are you alright?" The young elf asked her.

"This is no thunderstorm..." Balin breathed out. Just then in the not so far distance...they could see it. A giant made of rocks, was hurling another stone.

"My god...the legends are true! Giants! Storm Giants!"
@ihinka Ah I see. My bad for misunderstanding slightly. I think that would be fair enough, to say that only deep wounds or silverware would affect them the most. Unless someone else, has other ideas of what else might potentially scar them.
@ihinka I think that most wounds, that the wolves have might have been deep. Since some were caused by Hunters, I believe silverware would have been involved, one way or another
My relationship charts for both characters are done :)
Happy to change things about if need be. Or also add, as the story progresses.

That evening, Yavanna could not help but think about a few things. Including the fact, that she might not see the Durin Heirs and Saeril for a while. She did not know how long their task would take. But it would probably be a quite a while, before they'd reach Erebor. The young She-elf, knew why the company was to leave so early. Dear Gandalf, was quite sneaky that way. But if she were in their place; she would want to leave without anyone knowing about it too.

She was going to miss the company though. The more she thought about it; the more she found herself wanting to help. Yavanna knew that Thorin would be opposed, but that wasn't going to stop her.

It took her some time to gather a few of her things, including her weapons. Her sword was tucked into it's sheath, that was strapped to her waist. Her bow over her shoulder. Wearing her blue Elvish cloak...it'd keep her warm in the cooler weather. With some mortal blood in her; she couldn't withstand cold weather for as long as pure-blooded elves. It had some effect on her...eventually.

When she finally caught up to the company. They were about to venture out into the woods. The woods, that she knew quite well. Yavanna had explored them many times, going on horse-rides and such. Kili blinked looking surprised, when he saw Yavanna. Her blue hood, covering her hair. "Did we forget something, your highness?" he asked. Wondering, what was going on. Or if someone had came to stop them.

Yavanna just simply smiled at Kili. "Nothing, young warrior...I am coming along with you." she said with a warm smile.

Thorin rose a sharp eyebrow, as he heard Yavanna. "I don't think so." he said sharply, as he looked at her. The last thing they needed, was another she-elf to come along.

The young Princess, decided to ignore his tone of voice. Turning to face him. Her eyes almost held a blue tint to them. A slight stubborn look in her eyes. Her eyes only ever turned blue on a few occasions; if she was sad or grieving, her eyes were crystal blue. If Yavanna was stubborn, they were a more brighter, intense blue. "Do you know these woods?" Yavanna asked him. "I know, last night...you might have viewed me in the wrong light. But I do want to help you...my mind is quite made up. I am in this with you all." she told Thorin, a soft smile on her lips. A smile of Kindness towards the stubborn dwarf whom showed her nothing but a cold side to him.

"No...I don't." Thorin said honestly, as she asked about the woods. For the first time, Thorin looked speechless. Despite his coldness and hate towards Elves. The young girl was ever so kind and willing to help. He glanced away, not keeping eye contact with her for long. On the other hand Kili was one of the few whom looked ecstatic, that they had another member of their company.

"Well lucky for you, I know these woods like the back of my hand." Yavanna told Thorin, with a soft smile. Seeing Kili's excitement, she smiled at the young Dwarf.

"Just don't get yourself killed." Muttered Thorin, over to Yavanna.

The young Princess rose a slight eyebrow. She wasn't sure, if that was supposed to offend her or not. "I am quite skilled in combat and use of weaponry...I'll be alright."
