Personality: Valerie can be rather stubborn and at times opionated. But really has a heart of gold and has always been loyal to her group of friends. Val is a little insecure when it comes to relationships; making her scared of committing to her best-friend in case that friendship got ruined.

Bio: Valerie is the only child in her family. Not that she needed siblings growing up, she had a close group of friends most of whom she considered to be like brothers and sisters. Apart from one, she had a deeper connection with Ray that went deeper beyond a friendship. Ever since she could remember, the two did everything together. Barely anyone would see one without the other. Val eventually developed deeper feelings for Ray, but kept it to herself as she didn't want to risk somehow ruining their friendship. One thing led to another, and they gave into the mutual attraction and sexual tension one night, after graduation. Due to her insecurities, she was the first one to leave after their 'special night' together at the lake house after graduation. Valerie was broken when Ray left the city altogether, disappearing from everyone's lives. Taking the blame for chasing him away, but also regretting not fixing things before he had left. It's probably her biggest regret, not giving them a chance as a couple.

Val has remained friends with the rest of the group. Probably remaining closer to the boys than Ryleigh, as the girls had a shaky relationship after Raymond had left Rhodes. Leigh's resentment over the situation, made Val feel more guilty. Struggling to maintain a healthy friendship with Leigh, even if the girls have been trying to make up and save what's left of their friendship. Whilst she was always afraid to ask about Raymond, she has heard a few updates about him from Jimmy. Glad, that he is living out his dreams as an actor. Val is one of the few people that knew he would make it far in life; and it seems like he has.

Over the years, Val has attempted to move on. But something has always been holding her back from letting herself be happy and be in a proper long term relationship. 3 years ago, she had met the handsome police officer Leo Dominguez. Slowly falling for his charms and cute smile. Val has been enjoying his company and listening to his music; having heard a few of his numbers that he had composed himself in hopes of getting noticed out there as a musician. Valerie is devastated by Austin's death. He had been like a big brother to her, and always seemingly like the 'glue' that held the group together. Like everyone else, she feels the 'absence' of Austin and wonders what will become of the group, now that he is no longer there.

Current Situation: She works as a Museum tour guide. After Austin's death, she's unsure about going back to the lake house; as it holds so many memories. Not sure if she's ready to open up the old can of worms, if she goes back.

Rosalind was always more of a quiet, shy, reserved type compared to her sisters. It was probably one of the things, that made her unique and people were curious about her; because she was so different in comparison to her family members. Not that it was a bad thing. A lot of her sisters were a bit more on the overly confident side, bold, and straightforward. It made Rosalind feel somewhat intimidated by her own flesh and blood; given the fact she lacked such courage and confidence. But it also come with it's downsides; as not everyone found it to be an attractive trait in her elder sisters. But Rosalind kept true to herself. It usually took her a bit to get outside of her confined shell, before she'd open herself up to another person and get to know them, on more personal terms.

She couldn't help the surprised expression that crossed her face, when he expressed that he was glad to see her. "You are, my lord? But...why? I am just a simple guest, among others here." Rosalind wasn't so sure, what made her special in comparison to the others; that he'd be pleased to see her. But in all, it was a rather flattering comment. It wasn't often...if ever, for a host of a royal ball to be pleased to see her, like this. They were usually thankful to see all their guests; not just her. It made her more curious than ever before, to find out the reasoning for all the weird little things that had happened; including why he was so pleased to see her.

Rosalind's brows slightly furrowed at his reply about the grand ballroom. It wasn't exactly the answer she had been expecting. But the Princess didn't comment on it. But to her, it seemed like a waste of space; not using this present room often for events. Shame, for all that dust to be collected in a beautiful room.

From the corner of her eyes; Rosalind noticed a few glares in her general directions. Few...or rather, many a jealous ladies and royals felt cheated; that Alexander was paying her such attention; when he had rejected their offers for a dance, or paid them no such attention. The stares made her feel a bit tense. Feeling like all the prying ears and eyes, might burn through her very soul. "That is probably a wise idea. Rosalind said in agreement. At least, that way they might be able to have some sort of privacy, without being in the centre of attention. She had barely noticed that her hand remained in his, until it was time to move away. Feeling the slight tug against their connected hands, as she moved to follow him into a more quiet corner of the ballroom. Glancing towards their connected hands, a slight blush creeped up against her cheeks. "I am sorry...I." Not sure why she was apologising. But the words had slipped out, as she lightly retracted her hand from his. Letting her hand fall back down at her side. But her palm was left tingling, from where his flesh had been touching hers. Almost like her hand, had belonged in his. With how perfectly their hands had fit together, few moments ago. Feeling the absence of his hand against hers, already. Rosalind tried not to get side-tracked.

'Compose yourself Rosalind.' A voice in the back of her mind scolded her slightly. Knowing she was unusually nervous around the King. Maybe it was the anticipation of waiting to hear, why he was so glad to see her. Or maybe another reason all together.

I was thinking that her father could get a job offer, prompting the family to move to Miami. And maybe her art project offer is there too. So they could just run into each other, once she and her family moves in the neighbourhood, or in a small cafe or something.
