Current The ENT doc to me: "it's not looking so good in there". I know, doc. Please fix my nose, and maybe tell the VA to approve my claim.

@Jewel - get something you can live with for the rest of your life. What is something you’d never not be passionate about? I don’t regret my tattoo; I’m removing it for another reason.

She awoke with a startle, her heart pounding loudly in her ears as she looked around, finding nothing but darkness and the occasional eerie howling of the wind coming from the open window which she was able to make out after some time. She was still indoors, more than likely in the same cabin from the looks of it. And the space was comfortable, maybe that's why she'd been left there for now. Or maybe she had been abandoned... A terrible thought, but she was wounded, and she knew she would slow down the others. The needs of one don't compare to the needs of the team... That was the mentality from the start, one that she not only agreed with, but accepted. The mattress beneath her was somewhat stiff, making her back and as well as her legs sore and achy. Jane tried to move but the dull pain that she was ignoring suddenly intensified, and even though she stopped to catch her breath, she eventually pushed forward, rolling on her side to get to her feet. She bit her bottom lip, making small grunting noises as she struggled with her own body and used the closest wall for support.

Once she could stand, Jane limped to the window. The air was cool, the chirping of the crickets filling the still night. But there was another sound, something very near. It didn't take very long to decipher what she was hearing, and it eventually became clear. Gunfire and explosions. She didn't move, not at first anyway. Instead, Jane weighed her options. She could stay there, and possibly be killed by the Russians whenever they discovered her, or she could move, and maybe by some miracle, find others to help her survive.

"I suppose that'd be better," she groaned, talking to herself. Jane pulled her jacket tighter around her body, her arms crossed as to provide some sense of security. She realized that all the ruckus was coming from the opposite end of the structure, and she warily made her way to the other side. Jane then watched from another window, now much closer to the action. But once she was able to listen more closely, she was able to make out some of the chatter. It was English, and not the broken type spoken with an accent. Almost instantly, Jane decided she would slowly make her way across the street. That certainly beat remaining a sitting duck.

Once she'd crossed, she could make the silhouette of a person. Jane took a few more quiet steps, and she realized they were aiming their rifle down at her. Her heart caught in her throat. If she walked off, she could very well be shot.

"I'm not armed," she said in a serious tone, putting up one trembling hand as the other shielded her wound, "I'm just injured."

Alrighty, done with my character.
•Character Full Name: Yvonne Marie Johnson

•Gender: Female

•Age: 24

•Height: 5’6

•Weight: 120

•Physical Appearance:

•Hometown: Newark, New Jersey

•Personality Description: Yvonne is the curious type. She enjoys engaging in some investigative work and the harder the challenge, the higher the satisfaction whenever she gets what she wants. She is a kind spirit with her own beliefs, but sometimes she may step out of line and will be reminded to behave otherwise. Somewhat gullible, Yvonne believes the world to be better than it actually is. She can't help but give out a little bit of money whenever she passes by a homeless person, and she's a firm believer of karma.

•Profession/Career: Junior Writer

•Biography: Yvonne was born and raised in a relatively healthy household. Her mother is Puerto Rican and a Spanish teacher, and her father, Maurice Johnson, is a supervisor within a construction company. Growing up, Yvonne did well in school. She was somewhat social, but she stuck with the same group of friends throughout the years. Being an only child, Yvonne was somewhat spoiled, but her parents did a good job of preventing her from becoming too dependent on them. When she was 16, she got first job at a publishing firm. It was a part-time position with okay pay, but it was then she discovered what she wanted to do for the rest of her life.

Eventually, Yvonne graduated from the NYU's Department of Media, Culture, and Communications. She went on to remain working for the same newspaper she had interned at while in school, and her parents couldn't be prouder. While working there, Yvonne met a guy, Max, whom she has been dating on and off for nearly a year. Their relationship is complicated to say the least, and they go without talking to each other for weeks at a time as both of them tend to have the same headstrong attitude towards each other.

Just recently, Yvonne had booked a ticket to go down to New Orleans for a few days over the weekend and meet some friends from high school. She had decided to go alone since she needed to clear her head, but unfortunately, that was a big mistake.

•How Were You Captured?: Yvonne stayed late at worked Friday evening. When she was ready to go, she headed towards her car parked in the nearly empty lot below the building. A plain van screeched its tires as it turned the corner and sped to her location. Yvonne thought it was just another crazy driver, but before she knew what to do with herself, the side door opened and a man jumped out and grabbed her. Despite Yvonne's attempts to escape his grasp, she was pulled into the van with a damp cloth pressed over her mouth. She then began to lose consciousness as she felt her hands being forced behind her back.

Interested. Thinking of a reincarnation of Athena.
She watched as David rushed from cover to cover, avoiding the spotlight in order to prevent detection. Carlotta took a moment to mentally calculate how long she had before the spotlight made its way around again, threatening a nasty outcome if it so happened to catch her. After it passed through once more, she ran for her life to the first vehicle, her heart beating loudly in her ears. She let out a quick breath, making her way to the edge of the vehicle to look around the corner. No guard in sight yet, so that much was working in their favor. Carlotta waited for the light to flood her location, standing very sill once it illuminated her surroundings. She even went as far as holding her breath, anything really to avoid attention.

The moment it the light was gone, she made a final push towards the building. Carlotta wasn't a very strong woman. A great runner, sure, but not very strong. She maintained a toned body as a result of her previous work-out routines and the current demand of the job, but building muscle was just something she was never interested in achieving. Given her small frame, standing at barely 5 feet and weighing roughly 100 pounds soaking wet, Carlotta would occasionally find herself out of breath whenever she had to exert a great deal of energy with all the gear, weapons, and miscellaneous items she was carrying. But this quick sprint barely affected her. Not that she would dare complain to her teammates anyway as she saw it as a sign of weakness and that, to her, was unacceptable.

Carlotta eventually ended up adjacent to David, catching her breath as she looked in through the glass to analyze what they had to work with. The guards inside seemed pretty relaxed, an advantage for them. David then went over the plan they were about to execute, one that going by the narrative should be relatively easy to pull off. With a quick nod, Carlotta reached for one of her stun grenades. "On my mark..." she whispered.

Carlotta paused for a moment, looking at David as she got ready to make the offensive move. Once there was a quick mutual agreement between the two of them, she quickly opened the door and threw the grenade in the general direction of the guards.
@Dynamo Frokane

Alright, I'll see what I come up with.
@Dynamo Frokane

Whenever. A few of my RPs have slowed down.
@Dynamo Frokane

I appreciate the advice! But like you said, definitely a learning curb on my end. The hardest thing to do imo is switching my mentality as I have zero experience participating in arena RPs.
