Roll with Night please.

Oh boi. The faction I have a -1 for. This isn't going to go well...

...

Yeah, I got a 3.
This entire campaign has actually been a game of Magic the whole time!

Watch as the second part of the campaign after Witchlight ends up taking place Ravnica, Theros or Strixhaven.
Kendra

It took a lot of restraint for Kendra not to heave a loud sigh when she caught sight of the Copper Web members. She'd been hoping to just to have to deal with regular cops. After the confrontation with Abberline, she wasn't sure how much more supernatural politics she could take tonight. The universe really wasn't making things easy for her today.

Still, it wasn't the worst thing. She felt she knew enough about these guys that she could potentially stop this from getting out of hand. "Good evening, officers," they said, raising their hands to show they had no weapons on them. Not anymore, at least. "I'm Kendra Molony, Trinity Abrams' roommate? I'm pretty sure she's the one who called you about..." They motioned around themself vaguely. "All this." They paused before adding, "I just want to start by saying that nobody who is currently in this room was the one who started this."
Was gonna reveal Garrock's, err, condition later down the line if you guys didn't figure it out, but considering I couldn't really think of what else to give Fellwing for her success, we'll say her arguing intrigued him enough that it allowed her to get a better look at his wing.
Garrock didn't respond to Fellwing's words right away, nor made any sign he had even heard Skobeloff's words. He just stared down at the black drake with pure fury. It was only when Stargaze spoke up that he finally averted his gaze and turned it on the Orphan, the rage melting away from his eyes and becoming somewhat dazed, as if he wasn't entirely sure how to respond to her plea. Clearly, he hadn't expected anyone to jump to Fellwing's defense, let alone offer to take the blame in her stead.

After a long pause, his face wrinkled to something akin to disgust and he turned away. "You," he said, rounding on Skobeloff. "Lead me to the Tessith stronghold. The sooner we start gathering up the missing dragons, the sooner we can get off this dreadful island." He looked like he was about to storm off when Fellwing uttered her comment about going alone, and he paused, turning to look over his shoulder back at her. "And that, right there, is the attitude you should have started with." He motioned with his wing towards Skobeloff before raising his voice slightly, addressing not just Fellwing but all being present. "Your little friend here was able to get far more done in the last couple of hours by himself than any of you were able to working as a group. He's already ensured the safety of three dragons while you have ensured the safety of only one." He nods towards Kyte, who, judging by their frown, clearly doesn't appreciate the older dragon bringing them into this. "If you end up taking anything away from this whole mess, let it be this: your clutchmates will only slow you down."

With that, he begins to take a few steps away, but not before Fellwing catches a glimpse of his wing, the same one that one of the the infected brownies bit during their confrontation. The Seer can just about see small black specks beginning to form on the membrane, similar to what had had happened to Kyte. Clearly, the Darkness is starting to take its hold over the older dragon.
Ok the anger made more sense in the end (sorry Skobe)! I felt weird picking the success though, since the choice also involves picking how the NPC reacts, ha, so I figured I'd leave it to you if possible! The useful item would be my preference but I doubt Fellwing delighted him so...

I'll get to writing that reply. I'll have to think about what success to choose.

Just a note, though: the dragons you're trying to rescue are Garrock's housemates, not his clutchmates. He doesn't have a clutch anymore. xP
Yup.

Editted. Poor Jub xP
Well, hold that thought...
Remember that Jub lost his ability to keep secrets?

Why don't we do a Wisdom Saving Throw? Let's have it be against your own spell DC.

... I got a 4. I'm guessing that means I have to edit my post? xP
That moment you realise that none of the characters you're playing in your current RPs are good at being emotionally open with their friends xP

One day I'll play a character who isn't afraid to openly and honestly discuss their feelings. One day.
Jub the Peculiar

"Best thing I've ever been given?" Jub paused in his meal and tilted his head to one side. "Well, now, that's a tough one. While the most important thing I own is, of course, my spellbook, I wasn't exactly given that." He frowned. In truth, he had received very few gifts in his time, and none of them were particularly noteworthy. They had been either things like food or money, interchangeable things that you didn't hold onto for too long. Jub's ears were drooping slightly as he was starting to think he'd have to admit to his new friends that he didn't have any fond memories like that...

... then he remembered Gabriel giving him his bag of pixie dust back at the Carnival, the bag he still had among his belongings. It had been a small thing, and he'd forgotten it not long after, but it had been nice to get given something like that out of the blue.

Of course, he wasn't sure how comfortable he felt admitting that to his companions. They might make fun of him. He opened his mouth to lie and say he couldn't think of anything but instead... "Well, there was that pixie dust Gabe gave he me at the carnival," he said. "That was pretty nice." Once he realised what he had just said, his face flushed. "Ha ha... wow this is really good food, ma'am, what's your secret?" he quickly said before proceeding to stuff with face with food, praying to whatever gods were currently listening that his friends would ignore what he just said.
