Hello! I'm Yankee.
I'm usually down for pretty much anything: action, adventure, romance, horror, taboo, comedy, smut, gore, slice-of-life, etc.
I like cute, fun stories just as much as dark, gross, traumatic stories. I love fluff and whump in equal measure (well... maybe whump a lil more)
I enjoy creating original characters for RP, but I get as much enjoyment writing as canon characters in fandom-based games!
On that note I like comic books, cartoons, and videogames. I'm also very into cosplay and art!

I am a very slow writer, so my preferred posting pace is once per week or less. I usually post on weekends.
I like to have fun while writing, so I prefer relaxed partners who don't take things too seriously.
Remember: fiction =/= reality.

Feel free to PM me if you like,
however I do not check PMs immediately. Might take me a day or two... or ten to get back to you.

Forward all complaints to @stone

Ace Cadet watched the Courier call up the wigglers like some kind of... wiggler charmer, and he was quite impressed. Not only that, but he called over some big yellow bird that sort of looked like a gargwa. First the not-quite-konchu, now this? Cadet didn't known anyone that had such a way with wildlife, but it was super cool! The young hunter found himself grinning as the pair finished gathering the wigglers and the scattered TziTzi-Ya-Ku scales. He hadn't known the Courier for long, but now that the Cadet was free from Galeem's influence, meeting someone so far removed from the familiar was pretty exciting rather than weird.

At the Courier's offered hand, the red head hurriedly made his way over. Heck yeah he wanted to try riding this thing! He took the other man's help and hopped on. The not-gargwa was super soft - he couldn't help wondering what a hood or coat made of it's down would be like.

"Thanks," the Cadet laughed, "You've got a posse? I can't wait to hear all about them! And, well, everything!"

Location: Lumbridge, Land of Adventure

The pair returned to Lumbridge, a town the Ace Cadet had gotten pretty familiar with lately. Cadet dismounted the animal he now knew was a chocobo, giving it's side a few pats as he did so. The Courier wasn't kidding, his story was long and it had nearly taken him the entire ride back to tell it... though Cadet chiming in with questions every other word certainly hadn't helped.

"The story sounds so unbelievable..." Cadet said, not for the first time. He didn't look skeptical though, if anything he looked eager. "...and I can't wait to be a part of it!"

At the smithy, the Ace Cadet snickered at the sight of the Wiggler Head. It was a piece of equipment from his own world, equally useful as it was silly. The girls working the forge were quite capable to be able to make something like that. Maybe now that he had actual monster parts, he could finally commission something from them? The hunter pondered over the idea, letting the Courier accept the quest rewards. Okay, so the gunslinger wasn't a newb per se, but he would probably still benefit more from the rewards. The Courier would have a better grasp on his adventuring party after all, and know when to use the Wiggler Head... and maybe someone in their group really needed something from the Melder, he couldn't really take the ticket for himself or he'd come off as a real jerk. The potted wiggler was a gift he was sure the guildmarm wouldn't appreciate. She was into monsters, but more of the "kill you in one punch" kind.

With that settled, the Cadet waved to the Courier and started off for a different part of town. "You and your group are meeting at the Guild Hall, right? I'm gonna go grab something real quick, I'll meet you there later!" Since mysteriously arriving in Lumbridge - though much less mysterious now, having learned of Galeem and the like - the Ace Cadet had been renting a room in one of the local inns. He didn't have many possessions, but what he did have he thought might prove useful, so it was best to get everything before leaving. Upon entering his room, he immediately spotted his slinger on the table. I can't believe I forgot this, he thought to himself, shaking his head. He picked it up and equipped it to his arm before moving on to the tiny chest that was provided for him. Most of the stuff could fit in his gathering pouch: random berries he'd found that tasted awful but must be used to make something, a single berry he'd actually been able to identify - a Dragonfell, a handful of herbs, a jar of honey and two empty phials. He'd tried to go mushroom foraging once, but the mushrooms sprouted legs and started chasing him. Real bummer. As the Cadet put all the items into the pouch he carried with him, he paused at the phials. Around here in Lumbridge, empty jars were all the rage for some reason. He lifted it up over his head like he'd seen a lot of the little blonde kids do. He felt... nothing. Why they all got so excited over an empty jar escaped him, for now at least. The Cadet stood and did a last equipment check, humming as he thought of something else to try. The heart ability the Courier had told him about and had used on him - maybe...?

The hunter touched his chest and brought his hand forward, trying to will some kind of magical heart to appear. When it didn't, he only chuckled to himself. Yeah, he wasn't some legendary hero or anything, not main character material. Still, he was going to help save the universe - multiple universes! With a big grin on his face, the Ace Cadet closed the door to his now much emptier room, spoke with the inn keeper, and headed toward the Guild Hall.
Location: Guild Hall, Lumbridge

Okay, while he'd heard about this motley crew from the Courier's story, somehow he hadn't quite expected them to... well, to be exactly how the gunslinger had described. Seriously, a giant turtle guy? Cadet didn't let it bother him, all things considered it was a pretty interesting group. Plus, there was quite a cute blonde among them and he didn't want to seem like the kind of guy that got easily flustered just from being around a giant talking turtle.

Cadet blinked when the guild-master singled him out, but the man was right. "Duh, if you don't eat before a hunt you're gonna have a Nergigante of a problem," he said. That was just common sense, wasn't it? They definitely needed food. Maybe they even needed some more rest, but the sooner they got the quest done, the better. The Cadet felt himself deflate just a little when the blonde girl mentioned she'd be late to dinner, but it didn't keep him down for long.

"Come on, let's eat! I've got a room in town so after we beat this F-quest, we can rest up there and eat again the next day!" Well, he seriously doubted certain people in their group could even fit into the room, but they'd cross that bridge when they got to it should his offer be accepted.
@manchild Thanks for letting us know! Safe travels!
Absolutely no worries! Appreciate everyone checking in!
With the completion of the order, the dumbwaiter creaked and made it's ascent back to, presumably, the upper level. The mechanism was much quieter this time. It was still audible, a squeak and metallic groan from time to time, but after it's initial descent whatever rusted parts of it there were seemed to have either flaked off or simply gotten used to moving again. With the mansion in disrepair as it was, it was hard to tell exactly how long ago not only the dumbwaiter was used, but also how long since humans other than players had set foot in it.
...
After a little while, the dumbwaiter arrived in the foyer yet again. Like last time, there was a card inside, though only one. There was no need to send another card of rules, after all. Also like last time, there was another item in the space beneath the card. Though covered in rust, it appeared to be a pair of pliers.

It was just the time of day Sia enjoyed most. Back home, this would be when the majority of people were rushing home or rushing out, busy with families or avoiding them. It was a time where most people were more concerned with themselves than with others for once. It was then - and now - that Sia chose to enjoy it by sitting alone at an outdoor restaurant and sipping on a delicious caffè americano. She'd only spent a few months in Italy, but she had admit the food and drink were something else. In fact, sampling the local flavors was a growing passion of hers.

I should write a food blog, she mused, occupying her time with people-watching as she enjoyed her drink. Lately, with all the disappearances making the news, Sia had actually felt more comfortable in public than out of it. Of course, this only meant in situations like the one she was currently in. Alone, but surrounded by people. Ignored by most as she sat tucked away in the patio's corner. Here in the little space she occupied in Florence, she kept her eyes on the crowds and slowly drank her beverage.

Nothing and no one stood out to her, not yet anyway. She'd been feeling unnerved since her meeting with the strange pink haired man. The mere thought that there were other people that had some kind of... ability, similar to hers, was also unnerving. Ah, maybe she wanted to go home and be truly alone after all. Sia sighed to herself, pulling out a small notepad from her purse and jotting something down in it. The caffè americano at Oblate is good. 4/5. Or like 8/10?
I'm going to be gone for the next two days, so I'll be putting the next order up tonight when I get home! Hope it doesn't feel too rushed!
Belisendé
Daybreak | Fortress' West Side -> South Side

After letting her arrow fly, Bel spotted several others charge past her and into the fray. There were Einar and Kyran, the two she'd arguably grown the closest to, as well as several others she'd only met in passing earlier in the week and during the march away from Garleton. Speaking of Garleton, though she still was loathe to think back on it, there she'd been almost completely alone during the city's ransacking - saved only by the Reynes' knight at the last moment. Now, she was fighting alongside the Prince's brigade. That fact settled warmly in her mind and heart, continuing to carry Bel forward through her initial burst of determination.

With the two front guards and an archer down, Bel bade Sunbeam to charge through the opening. She trusted the others to take care of the sword-wielder and the other archer after witnessing all of them in action. Horse and rider turned South toward the fort's main entrance, though from the corner of her eye she spotted what seemed to be an archer in the fort's window. That was bad news! Bel slowed slightly, intending to aim at the enemy when she was startled by a burst of magic in the same area. It's source was a woman robed in dark clothes, one Bel didn't recall seeing much around camp. She didn't even know the mage's name, but she already appreciated the other woman.

"Good call!" Bel said as she rode past behind the mage, speeding back up and rounding the fort's corner. As she did so, she readied her bow against any potential threats. There were two men at the entrance, their attention divided between some commotion ahead of them at the fort's outer wall and the shouts of battle from where Bel had just come from.

She took aim at the axeman, angling her bow to account for the increased distance between them. If she could take the man out, or at least weaken him, it would make things that much easier for her fellows in arms.

It was well into Marcus' sleep cycle when Thalam finally came online. He'd almost considered not playing it tonight, but it was launch day and it would probably be better to get into a party quickly. Huh, actually... he thought about it for a moment. If he put it off for a few days, he could always play the newbie and ask for handouts. Then again... the type of guys that would be playing the game after waiting for the servers to come back up were probably the kind that would be desperate for a girl's attention. Not that Marcus was a girl in the waking world, but soon enough he'd become one in Thalam. The young man flicked through the character creation menu quickly, as he already knew exactly the kind of avatar he'd make. Light eyes, dark skin and and hair, totally cute and adorable. He chose the first Elf-race on the list because they were the stereotypical "pretty" race in most media. There, all done! He pitched the avatar's voice up into the feminine range and finally chose his preferred class: healer.

As the newly created Mimika spawned into the world of Thalam, the dainty elf girl stretched out her hands towards the bright sky and looked around. VR games weren't really Marcus' forte, but he had to admit this was pretty damn cool. He looked down at his newest avatar. She looked pretty good from here. Humming, the girl opened up her menus, finding the tacky cape she'd been sent, as well as the party screen. Looks like that "ukk0" guy sent her an invite just as he'd said, along with some "neres." Oh well, the more the merrier. For now. She scrolled through the menus and found the name she'd added as a friend earlier before the game went live.

[cherryblossomblues/Mimika]: @Chino4647 Hai~ im sending u a party invite
[cherryblossomblues/Mimika]: im not that close tho i think im at the other end of the beach
[cherryblossomblues/Mimika]: theres some other ppl in it too

Yeah, she definitely didn't ask permission from the other party members before inviting what would be their fourth member. Parties were the best way to level up fast after all. Mimika took her sweet time making her way over to the field of slimes. Very sweet time. Seriously, VR was cool. This was like really living a second life while asleep... sort of. Floating menus and a UI weren't exactly true-to-life but hey.

After a while Mimika made it to the slaughtering fields and found her party companions. "Yay~ I made it!" she exclaimed, before waving her cudgel at the blue slime her companions were attacking, casting a mighty smite spell on the thing.

Lothair and Lynir
@heyitsjiwon@Kinith

Slime
Level : 3 Health 136 // Mana 50 // Stamina 50

The bulbous little jelly creature was oblivious to the rest of it's species getting squished, slashed, pierced, and overall killed. It was just a slime after all. As Lynir approached, it looked up at the warrior with it's big, beady black eyes - totally unsuspecting. The slime winced in pain as Lynir brought his sword down on it. After a few blows the slime sprung back into shape and it's non-existent eyebrows descended in an aggressive look that was less than threatening. It jumped at Lynir, intending to attack, but was blasted from it's side by Lothair - a mage. The slime shook itself before continuing to attack the closest target, Lynir, jumping at him again and dealing 4 damage before armor.

Chrysanth
@Versa

Slime
Level : 3 Health 129 // Mana 50 // Stamina 30

Another cute little slime, minding it's own business. The creature was rolling along the sandy beach's edge when it was suddenly impaled by a powerful arrow. As the weapon pierced it, there was what could only be an angry sloshing sound coming from the injured slime. It looked around, spotting the darkin archer and began to make it's way toward him. It was a little faster than it's red and green cousins, and it was in range of Chrysanth soon enough. The move toward the ranger drained the slime's stamina, making it unable to use it's ability, but it was agitated enough to fling itself right at him, throwing all of it's weight at the darkin for 23 damage before armor.

T0ñythétïger
@dragonpiece

Slime
Level : 3 Health 135 // Mana 50 // Stamina 50

The very large beastman didn't bother the little slime at all as he walked up to it and proceeded to stare it down as it went about it's business absorbing little grasses and insects for nutrients. In fact, the slime met his eyes - peering curiously up at the comparative giant as it fed. It didn't move at all when the tiger man exclaimed and drew his sword, bringing it down onto the slime's body. The sword cut into it and then bounced off it's slick hide. After a beat the slime seemed to realize what happened and looked as if was going to cry. Instead, it jumped at Tony, missing twice in it's haste, but when it finally managed to land a hit it did 9 damage before armor.

Neres
@Aviaire

Slime
Level : 3 Health 141 // Mana 50 // Stamina 50

The first slime Neres saw happened to be of the blue variety, the same as most of the others in the area. It was unmoving, lounging in the sunlight on the fields before she ran up to it and bashed it in the face with her shield. The slime was, of course, very disoriented by this. It was in the middle of coming back to it's senses when Neres followed up with two slashes of her sword. The slime panicked and jumped at her, and it missed since it's dizziness had not fully worn off yet. The slime rumbled in pain, anger, or most likely both as it attacked again, this time dealing 7 damage before armor.
