Hunter looked between the Oni and the guy who persisted in acting like he had the moral high ground in this argument. "Ah hell, I never was good at talking things out, something Master Jack always gets on my case for. For once, I'm going to apologize for this ahead of time." Pulling back a fist as he turns the boy around, he slams it into Gabriel's gut, doubling the young man over. "You've got a big opinion for knowing so little. Before you bad talk another guild, learn more about it." Pulling his jade covered fist back, he let the stone crumble away from around his hand before taking a couple steps back and sliding into a ready stance. "I learned from my father, the dragon Carnaphros, that actions make a more fitting argument than any words. He admitted to regretting his actions of self preservation at the same time, but that's besides the point. You're so sure you're right? Prove it."
He noted the nervous looks he got from some of the bystanders and sighed. OK, OK, we'll take it out of town, geez...It's not like I'm Natsu or Erza or Grey..."

Damian had been humming to himself as he shaved and semi-listened to the match as it went. If he wasn't so attuned to listening for out of place noises subconsciously, he might have missed the knock. As he didn't, he sighed and finished his last stroke before washing his face off and putting on his pants and boots again. He didn't want to put on his semi-formal stuff til it was time to go meet Penny. Walking over to the door, he opened it as he finished drying off his face and raised an eyebrow at the pair in front of him. "Uh, hi. Can I help you with something?"
At least Lugu got my joke...

How is it Holier then thou to state what's true? None of them went to check she was okay.
I have dealt with berserk people, and frankly it's better to talk them down then shove hem full of chemicals. It makes things worse if you do that. And having dealt with Michael's crippling social anxiety Gabriel would be of that opinion too. Gabriel maybe immature, but that doesn't mean he doesn't see things.
Beating on him, and apologizing for him is just going to make it worse, really.
What makes it holier than thou is that Gabriel assumes no one did. If something was wrong, like a broken nose, which is unlikely at that height, I should know, I've made that fall personally and the doctor I talked to said it wasn't possible, there would have been blood and James could have dealt with it. On top of that, he's just acting like he's Captain Know-It-All which is just absolutely wrong. He doesn't know that Samir didn't check on her, he doesn't know that his way would have worked, and he doesn't know jack about how Phoenix Wing works, and a dozen other things at least. In the long run, he should have just backed off and kept his mouth shut.
I'd have a hard time believing he has an hour of things to do to get ready, even including the shower.
Edit: Also, he could see them out the window.
He's shaving, it'll be a miracle he heard Samir.

Well, if they're still milling around in an hour or so. He IS getting ready for a date.
