Sometimes you spend so long looking for peace in someone else, you loose sight of that peace you can give yourself. Don't forget that guys.

"No deal, Ryder. I agreed to offer air and ground support, not let people dissect aliens inside it. If you'd wanted me to play ball your way, you should have included it in the fine print." He turned to face Ryder. "All our contract requires is that I shoot things. Nothing in there about turning my ship into a torture chamber, especially since it would violate the codes I'm given as a Bounty Hunter. Primarily no bodily fluids that aren't my own."
"And my ship isn't a laboratory. It's not happening. Period. I don't dissect or torture people on the Chaser, and neither are you. Like I said before, use the remains of the Quarian Ark." He turns to return to his ship the get some spare thermal clips and stops, glancing out at the forest edge. "And don't be so quick to discredit civilians when it comes to torture and interrogation. They just might surprise you."
Elnea specialises in creating animated, humanoid creations from ice to assist her in combat. Despite being animated her Ice constructs are mindless, and act only as she directs them with her magic.
Ice-Make: Arm - Having lost her right arm, Elnea crafts an animated replacement from ice. Forced to create the arm using one-handed Ice-Maker magic, it is roughly crafted, focusing on stability and utility over aesthetics. If necessary, Elnea can substitute the hand for a sharp ice blade, increasing her deadliness in close quarters combat, but sacrificing her ability to cast two-handed Ice-Maker Magic until the hand is returned.
Ice-Make: Golem - Elnea crafts a massive hulking man from ice. The Golem is extremely strong but slow.
Ice-Make: Knight - Elnea crafts a remarkably lifelike figure of a young man in armor wielding a two handed sword. The Knight is a balanced warrior, matching speed with combat ability.
Ice-Make: Sentinel - Elnea crafts the same figure as the knight, however this time he is wielding a large kite shield and longsword. The sword may be used to attack, but the focus of this construct is primarily defensive.
Ice-Make: Archer - As the name implies, Elnea crafts a masked Archer that fires ice arrows at her opponents.
Ice-Make: Dwarves - Elnea crafts a gang of small, three foot tall, humanoids, numbering between 5-10. These constructs are weak and possess little combat skill, but are intended to distract and harass her enemy with their numbers.

History: Elnea grew up in the mountainous northern reaches of Fiore, living an Idyllic life with her family. One day however, during her adolescence, a group of Dark Guild Wizards arrived with the intent of destroying her town. Elnea never knew the reason, perhaps they were hired to do it, or perhaps they simply enjoyed murder. Either way the Wizards burned Elena's hometown to the ground. Elnea found herself pinned under a burning roof beam in her home, trapped by her right arm. Trapped and panicked, her screams for help became simple screams when her arm started to burn.
All the noise drew the attention of a passing Wizard, a young man who was drawn by her screams and pulled her out of the burning wreckage of her childhood home. He arrived too late to save her arm, but did save her life. Sadly her's was the only life saved that day. Her saviour turned out to be a user of Maker Magic, using Iron-Make to craft weapons and armor for himself. In gratitude, Elnea travelled with the man for a time, and learned the rudiments of Maker Magic from him, though he insisted she find her own style rather than copy his. And so, in time, Elnea found her way to Ice-Maker Magic.
One day, Elnea awoke at their shared campsite to find herself alone. In the night, her long time companion had left, leaving a note to explain that he had something to do and that he couldn't involve her, that he'd enjoyed their time together, but it had to end. In that moment Elnea realised that she might have fallen in love with her one time saviour. The note went on to mention that if Elnea ever felt lonely, she should travel south and seek out a guild, where she might find companionship and perhaps a new family to fill hole of the one she lost.
Personality: Elnea is a bit of hot-head, and can lose her temper easily, leading her becoming rash in her actions. When drunk however, she becomes the life of the party, flirting and joking with anyone and everyone within reach, though occasionally, she might be caught in a melancholic moment. Despite her short fuse and raucous drinking habits, Elnea does care deeply for those who earn her trust.

Still foggy on the current year, but that's an easy edit, if it's even relevant. As for the guild she joins, I don't know much about the guilds or story so far, so I'm leaving that up to the GMs to figure where Elnea would best fit into things.
Jim was back in his room in the command center after a busy day of dealing with various day-to-day base operations that required his attention. Word had reached him that Rave, the one Spectre he'd met who he trusted absolutely since he'd known the man since he was a Ghost, had gone to retrieve Terra from a predicament. While he didn't necessarily like the female Ghost, since it had been her who'd dropped him on the prison ship Kerrigan had rescued him from, he didn't hold a grudge and was willing to give her a second chance. About five minutes after he settled in to just listen to some of his favorite tunes, the coms officer ran in, her face one of both triumph and surprise. Sitting up from his reclined position, the commander began to open his mouth when she spoke. "Sir, you need to hear this!" Without waiting for a reply, she plugged a flashdrive into his computer and loaded the file before hitting play.
To anyone who might be out there, for the love of whatever god is listening I hope you get this and get it fast! We've been on the run this past month or so, fuck knows I didn't keep track. Soldiers, monsters, hell god-fucking-damned sorcerers showed up in the mix! It's been a shitshow from the start and we were caught with our pants down. Despite it all we managed to make our way south, us and some other folk we found along the way. Then met up with some... well tribals I'd guess you'd call them, said they were gods or some such bullshit. They were camped around some huge generator or something, I don't fucking know. Anyways, for a while it seemed like a safe place, they were strong, stronger than any of us that's for sure. But out of the blue a bunch of Road-Warrior rejects showed up and set the place ablaze. Some of us fought, most of us hid while the tribe went to meet them in force. It didn't take long for the bunch of savages to get ripped apart by the bastards.
We ran as quick as we could when the chief's head was cleaved off his shoulders and dashed on the rocks. I ain't fucking around man, these psychos got all sorts of weird grimy-lookin' tech on 'em. Big guns, mechanical arms, blades and spikes all over 'em. Hooping and hollerin' like a bunch of dumb animals as they wen't round rippin' out innards and quartering bodies. It was about a a day and two nights before they were done, and we heard their buggies and trucks roaring behind us. We scattered, different folks from different groups spreading out so some of us could try and make it out. Not many of us made it this far, found some big ass fort and locked it up tighter than a virgin in Gomorrah. Wasn't long before they found the place and now they're beating down all the fucking walls around us. Don't know who's out there, if anyone is, but help us out and we'll owe you, big. Sending coordinates out, and just gonna hope something worse than those bastards doesn't come a knockin'. Fuck it.
Jim stared for a moment before he pulled up a map based on what they'd already scouted. The area was close to where they were settin' up an outpost, but he didn't have the manpower to spare to mount a rescue. He then remembered the broadcast from those Richter's Rangers the day before and grinned. "Coms officer, patch me through to those Ranger fellas. I'd like to have a word." She nodded and rushed back out his door as he turned to his communications console, when it flashed at him that it was ready, he spoke. "Richter's Rangers, this is Commander James Raynor of Raynor's Raiders, a Terran Dominion combat force. We recently picked up a distress call and find outselves in the unfortunate position of lacking the manpower ourselves to go help. You interested in some work?"
This here is the start of my character. It's still very much a work in progress, but I'm posting what I've got already before I fall asleep at my keyboard. Mostly I'm just trying out to see if my chosen magic is allowed, and hopefully not ripping off someone else in the rp already.

That's it so far. Oh and It'll be covered in the history once it's finished, but as mentioned in the magic section, she's missing her right arm at the shoulder. Also her DoB is based on a guess of the current year from info provided in the OOC OP.
This looks good so far. Magic seems good, but gotta wait for final judgement until you finish it out. Good job so far.
