Because ES knows how much of a threat his mind is, so they watch him. Even when you don't think he's being watched- when he's absolutely sure he's being watched! You think anything you did following Vex made a difference? No! They knew all of it was coming, and planned for it. Any success you had is a trick they're playing on you. You have to realize, these guys are much more careful than any enemy we've faced before, and nowhere near stupid! You think getting out of this one won't require some sacrifice?
