You know that's not how it works, right?

I have a sweet tea thing.
Same. Kinda got it from my grandpa. Man has gotta have his sweet tea everyday.

As a runner, it is a death drink when drinking soda, but I have my cheat days. We all do. Especially now since we have kinda let ourselves go.

Yeah. I need to start running again, since my soccer career is over.

Even if caffeine addiction can only be mild at its worst, tons of people still become dependent on it. You getting deja vu yet? Because we've talked about this in the past.
<Snipped quote by Spiritblitz>
If you cut me open (except for this month (eye twitch)), it would probably just be tea and my organs would be tea leaves.

I am the kind of person who can keep running for a very long time. Unfortunately, now, the starting to run is the problem.
Night Knight. Btw, overtime starts tomorrow.

Not particularly. The body is smart and won't create a dependency on it unless you put yourself in a situation where your body interprets it as such. You'd have as much luck becoming addicted to salt or something similar.
<Snipped quote by Host>
The difference is that caffeine is a stimulant, and it affects the nervous system. Dependecy can result from its use, but just not to the degree of medicines and such.
<Snipped quote by Multifarious>
As are things containing coconut, peppers, turkey, sweet potatoes, fish, sugar, and spinach. Just because something is a "drug" (something that induces a physiological change in the body) does not make it bad. In fact, studies have shown that coffee is good for you. These range from coffee in moderation to "the more you drink, the better it is."
<Snipped quote by Host>
I never said it was bad, that it wasn't good for me, or anything. I just have a personal thing against dependency. And, as I said before, even if it doesn't cause addiction, people still become dependent on it. Addiction or no.
<Snipped quote by Multifarious>
Yes, but my point is just that if you live in fear of addiction, you'll never do anything. It just takes self-control.
<Snipped quote by Host>
Not fear, avoidance. Like I said, I do still drink sodas and whatnot. I'm just careful.
<Snipped quote by Multifarious>
Yes, but virtually everything can lead to addiction.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
I'm careful with everything.
david-o, lets start the interaction.
