How it began, if you will.

Ah. It was thirty years ago, beasts and other nightmarish creatures disturbed our land and other parts of the world. The Knights had a very hard time keeping them away, then the plague came. It killed many of our people. Mutated them. But there were a group who mutated differently. They kept their sanity, and were able to go toe to toe with the creatures. They formed together. They are known as the Old Hunters. I am one of them. One of the Old Hunters used our blood in an attempt to create a cure, but instead created an immunity as well as more of us. So we used his creation on the rest of the people who weren't infected. That was seven long years. We then created the Hunters. Around twenty years later, we dispelled the beasts. A recent discovery of interdimensional travel allows us to futher protect people.
