I kinda want to throw Mordric and mierno into the fight with rhythm and tempo.

Well, mierno isn't exactly a hero, being formerly noble, andhis methods can be sometimes unorthodox, but he is good, nonetheless.

I don't think the idea that darkness is a concept, not the absence of light is getting across. It has nothing to do with illumination.
