There are no rules on what is and isnt unpopular, if its unpopular to you then its fine.
Feel free to disagree with each other as I'm sure you will just keep direct flaming/name calling away from other posters. You can be snarky but not sadistic.

Time to get messy, I'll kick things off.

Final Fantasy 7 is not only the best final fantasy game or one of the best RPGs but one of the greatest games of all time.

GamerGate is reactionary and pointless.

Stoners generally aren't that chilled out once you take their weed away.

Every presidential candidate is terrible this year.

Marvel is better than DC in almost every way apart from the animated series.

Most anime is ridiculously unimaginative.

Pokemon is a children's game that adults can enjoy.

Game of thrones is kept alive by its witty script, the acting is above average and the plot is wack.

Ben Stiller is still funny.

Will Ferrell was never funny.

Competetive gamers are the worst mix of passive and agressive in any sport.

I thought this was supposed to be the unpopular opinions thread. Like this:

Final Fantasy 7 is a mediocre game and is largely responsible for the declining quality of the series once they entered the 3D era.

Undertale is not a very good game and the one thing it does sort of cleverly was done better and had way more impact in a Yoko Taro masterpiece of a game. The characters are more annoying than endearing and as someone that is clearly the target audience the writing was missing more than it was hitting. But hey, some of those songs were alright I suppose.

As a fan of the genre, JRPGs across the board are really, really stale and somehow find more ways to retread the same tired, hackneyed cliches. Also Persona 4 is a worse game than Persona 3 but both games made the Persona games for casuls so I hate them

There has never been a truly great superhero movie.

Pop music doesn't suck, you're just older now and it's not meant for you.

Christopher Nolan hasn't made a great movie since Memento.

Jojo is a bad anime and anime is dumb. The best thing Jojo ever did was make Roundabout relevant again.

The Uncharted games are actually not very good video games and 4 is probably the worst one.

Animation, when compared to a live-action piece that is given the same amount of attention to their equal components, is always inferior except for comedy because animation can never replace human subtleties produced by trained actors.

Summer is hot and it fucking sucks. Late fall and early winter are by and far the best time of year

Global Consumer Capitalism is an unsustainable system that will inevitably lead to either societal collapse or extinction, if not in this century then in the next, unless we can find a way to replace it wholesale.

Donald Trump is neither a Fascist nor is he going to make America Great, but rather he says what he says because he wants the office of President for the sake of itself and is playing off of pissed of Conservatives to get it.

Social media generally sucks and I really hope its overuse today is a fad that will scale back with time

Black Lives Matter have a point regardless of the behavior of some overzealous supporters

The only harm that can come from SJW's is from the reactionaries they inspire, otherwise they are irrelevant.

Hipsters are rather nice people even if their tastes are somewhat over the top sometimes.

Anime is ridiculous and hasn't particularly contributed anything to society.

Animal Crossing is an awful game with a charming atmosphere

Virtua Fighter is the most deep and balanced fighting game ever, its just not very popular.

Sonic 1 2 and 3 are above average games, the rest range from mediocre to shit.

Smash Bros is a party game.

Battletoads is shit.

There are more strands of feminism then there are feminists.

Nerds are made fun of for being nerds, Bronies shouldn't get any special treatment.

  • People who use "whom" in everyday conversation or correct other people in use of the word "whom" should know that they are Ross Gellar and being Ross Gellar is bad because Ross Gellar is a total toad.
  • It's OK to eat honey even if you're a 'vegan'. Doing anything to death for the sake of a label or fitting into a community of zealots, be it feminism, being a 'punk', or any kind of activist stance, when you don't really believe in what you're doing, makes you a total sucker and a fake and you're wasting your effort.
  • There's nothing wrong with sex work and light drug use as long as everything is above board and SAFE, and doesn't mess up anyone else's life, including obviously kids. I'm not saying people should get into it, I'm saying that moral judgements on strippers and cannabis smokers are a waste of mental and spiritual effort, and talking smack about these people kind of makes you a tool.
  • Sometimes, it's "its". I'm talking to you, Science Communication professor. If you teach written communication, you should know all the damn spelling and grammar rules; it's your responsibility.
  • It's very annoying when people say "from whence". If you're going to talk in old English, do it properly. "From whence" = "from from where". From is a silly word.

Rooster Teeth suck at everything except RWBY.

The Overwatch porn community is boring and tame.

There are probably 8 indie games that dont suck, and super meat boy isnt one of them.

Give it sometime, wait better artist/more creative commissioners to come in to the scene, that's when things will get interesting.

Personally I can think of a few but alas, I have no mooneyz to spend on commissions.

Overwatch is just overpriced TF2 and League/Heroes/Dota, but with more shit-waifu characters to attract the attention of the lonely and the horny. There is no other unique substance in it.

Gnoggin is better than game/film theory.

Tumblr ruins everything mainstream.

Touhou was the original bullet hell game series.

Kingdom hearts 3 will take two and a half years at this point to make.

Bayonetta in smash is better that a knight who weilds a gardening tool as a weapon,a genie that whips her hair back and forth to attack,and a fat and ugly crocodile king.

EA should have never made Call of Duty,and should have kept the good games going,Such as American Mcgee's Alice.

Sega now looks to be better than EA.

All resident evil games are good to me.

No matter how much you ask,no,we will not get a portal 3,left for dead 3,etc.

Undertale is the worst fucking game to grace our screens, with a shitty attempt at being "mysterious" and "witty".

I don't care what anybody thinks or says, Watch_Dogs is a GOOD GAME.

I'm a horrible person that deserves to go die in a pit.

I don't see the appeal of any men, apart from Brendon Urie, Nathan Sharp, Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, and a few others.

It's best to be a bisexual or gay woman, as women know their stuff, tbh.

Bethesda is a good game developer.

Ubisoft is a good game developer.

For me, Assassin's Creed games aren't about the story or characters; it's the gameplay and features. Especially the outfits.

I'm still a horrible person that needs to die in a pit.

My writing is terrible, and there's no clue as to why I got an A in English.

If any of my friends find this, they'll slap me around the face.

These are MY fucking opinions. Don't bother trying to change them.
