@Chenzor 'Ello matey.

I was pondering and wondering a thought that I thought I'd bring to you. To see what you think. It's in very early stages at the moment, merely an idea. But I wish to play a subterranean race of rat people who are technologically advanced and quick but fragile (in combat), breed slowly and are looked down on. What do you think?

True, and of the 3 I'd would pick dwarves, as I have no idea how I would RP trolls or ogres.

I guess it'll depend on a couple answers from Chen, cause i have another question to ask him.

@Kangutso ah, the dreaded question... I don't know how much time passes, realistically. Your population grows with every turn so perhaps your posts are a summarize of your yearly activities, or perhaps your post focuses on a few key events during the amount of time that passes.
Let's say... A year? It's up to you, really. Mechanically-wise, one turn could be anything from half a year to a couple years, but nothing more or less than that probably. Although this would seem odd sometimes due to mechanics such as prospectors take an entire turn to return with their findings of exploration etc, but hey, sometimes mechanics and realism don't entirely flow together well.

TL;DR: I don't have a good answer. Think about a year per turn.

To be honest you could play it off as time being somewhat irrelevant. Most of the activities you can do per-turn can be done in a time frame ranging from a few days or weeks to upwards of a year or more. I'm just kind of writing off time as a concept in this RP. Pretend it's a Total War game and you're more in a era than a time.

Alright, that makes enough sense for me.

Another question: Would it be possible to have an immortal leader?

And by immortal I mean they don't age past a certain point, and can't die from poison, but can be killed by anything else that can kill a person.

EDIT: Or would that simply be too much?

@Kangutso Well I mean... What do you have in mind for this immortal character of yours? I'd be okay with a ruler achieving immortality through the roleplay, but having it from the start would be a bit much. With an ambition to achieve immortality though, I'd know what sort of events to give you to enable you the posibility of achieving it.
