@Invader Len @onenote @The Errorist

Hmm, I probably won't be able to post until tomorrow or even the weekend possibly at the earliest since I have a lot of things to wrap up before my spring break.

I'm a bit concerned that if the roleplay is going to move this rapidly (26 posts within the first day of posting!? wow! you guys are fast) I'm going to have to drop because I simply can't keep up with this. I'm a slower-paced roleplayer with the goal of posting a few times a week, but if I'm gone for one day and I miss pages of the IC I don't think I'll be able to hold on.

I unfortunately second this sentiment. I am gone for most of the day due to school and errands for my family, and when I get home it will be hard to write up a post if I'm still catching up on the IC. Plus I am also a slower poster and it takes me a two-three days to get around to posting, which will be difficult considering the speed of this RP.

@Sylph@fishguy
I'm sorry to hear that. If you PM us, we can try to make arrangements and accommodations for you, but inevitably, the first few days are going to be happening the fastest, as players explore the world and make interactions. We never advertised a slow RP, though we are willing to make accommodations with slower posters, if given notice and schedules. We're willing to work out arrangements with you if you can tell us what you need. However, if you feel that you will be unable to keep up, then no hard feelings, and I wish you the best. :)

Edit: Also, we do have methods in place for slow posting. The most anyone can really post a day is twice, maybe 3 if they stay up late. So there's a lot of IC posts, yes, but thats because we have a huge cast. If you look at who's posting, very few people have posted more than 3 times in the last day and a half that the IC has been up. There's an illusion of speed if you go by IC posts alone, but that's why we have @'s, so you don't have to read every post if you use them.

@pkken Sorry this is a bit late but we noticed that you had quite a few spelling errors in your post. Would you mind going back and fixing them, please? If your browser doesn't have a spell checker, I suggest getting the grammerly pluggin/app(/whatever its called on your browser XD). It has a free version that has no expiration date and spell checks your writing and tells you how to fix minor grammatical errors. Thank you : )

@Sylph@fishguyConsidering that there are 24 rostered characters, I wouldn't say that number of posts is strange. Besides, most people were waiting for the IC and were probably just excited to get their first posts up. It'll more than likely slow down, I think.

The Final Battle, A Redmarshmellow Spin Off

The cliche hero is tied neck and neck with the stereotypical super villain. The Hero of course has been training day and night for this fight to defeat the menacing detriment to this world. They are almost matched in power. The villain of course uses a dirty trick to gain the upper hand. The villain corners him and is about to finish the hero off when he says, "Any Final Words?" The hero looks up at him and smirks, he stands tall and shouts with confidence, "You gave me no choice, looks like I'm going to have to use my hidden power!" The villain's confidence is undeterred as he retorts "You think you can defeat me?! No power of yours is strong enough for me! But since I love a good show I'll give you a chance, show me this hidden power." The hero smiles and he reaches in his jacket. "Gun!" he shouts as he shoots the villain and lives happily ever after. The End.

Introducing: Link Duel Go!

Hey you there! You look like you could use an app on your phone that will make you get of your lazy bum. Well you're in luck! Introducing Link Duel Go! A revolutionary application. How does it work you ask? It's simple. First you register with it and it will make you either a mage or familiar in the game, accurate to what you are in real life. The app will have a current location tracker and show nearby areas and terrain. In the game there are entities and points of interest. Some areas you may find treasure, which can go into your game credits, and some areas you will find monsters. You will start out with one type of magic or ability, depending on if you're a familiar or a mage. As a mage fighting and taking down these monsters or finding hidden treasure will allow you to unlock more spells and even new types of magic! As a familiar defeating these monsters or finding the treasure will increase your current ability strength and sometimes allow the collection of even more abilities, the strength and rarity of the ability/ magic all depends on the monster or hidden treasure. In the game it is also possible to form bonds between mages and familiars, and then use your acquired spells and abilities to take on other people, usually in a 2v2 fashion. Bonded partners yield more loot and do better, as in real life. So what are you waiting for?! Go get it, go on.

(Welcome to Link Duel Go! Basically this world's equivalent of Pokemon Go, except the pokemon are objectives that have to conquered in order to level up and become more powerful. Then you can duel your friends with your amassed power. The more powerful the magic or ability the rarer the objective. For familiars, finding an enigma ability in the game is extremely extremely rare, and thus it is worth alot more, anyway this is my latest development. More content will be launched in the upcoming days :D )

@Invader Len I've got a question. Reading through the [Points] section in the OOC, does that mean we can distribute the points into stats after every post, or only during certain times? And also, points aren't used just for stats, they also have an added use?

@Invader Len @onenote @The Errorist

I'm going to be dropping this RP. I'm sorry, I really enjoyed it and I apologize for the inconvenience to the partner of Sylvie. I really enjoyed the premise of the roleplay, but I think I'll be more of a liability in the future and will hold people up due to my 2-3 day turnout.

I wish you luck in all your RP endeavors and I hope this RP enjoys a long life :)

If you want me to erase my character's cs in the character tab for better organization, let me know.

You can distribute them after every post, or save them how you wish. It's up to players to keep track of their points. Points have no other purpose than to be spent in stats. The stats do have multiple purposes, as you need 40 points in Proficiency to learn a new spell. 50 points in Intelligence are needed to pass your first quarterly exam, at the end of Fall. As for Athletics, points spent in Athletics cap at 100 points, so you will not be able to spend over that in that section.

@fishguy
I'm sorry to hear that, but thank you for letting us know. If you would remove your CS from the character's tab, that would be much appreciated. Luckily, as the bonds have not been made yet, it will be much easier for us to juggle CS's and rearrange pairs, so thank you for being aware of your limits and dropping before things became really difficult. I wish you luck in your future RPs, and thank you for sticking with us this far. :)

@Invader LenIs it possible to lose points in a category if we do not do actions in that area for a while?

That's something I thought about implementing as a game mechanic for athletics, but eventually decided it would be too complicated to implement, and too harsh on people who are slower posters. So no, you do not lose points in a category if you don't exercise ever again or study ever again.

Also, you are allowed to bank your points. If you don't know what stat you want to put your points into yet, just save them in the Points section. You don't have to spend them as soon as you get them.

Hey all, we'd just like to know if anyone else would like to drop? It'd be easier to rearrange partners before the ceremony happens.

@Sylph We also just need to confirm you are dropping. Thank you all!
