Alright. Noticed we had a Hades kid already and took it in another direction. Here is Naya: 

Naya Tonnerre | 16 |  Nyx

Apperance: Her most outstanding feature is her green eyes, surprisingly bright against her dark skin and hair. However, her eyes are usually hidden behind dark sunglasses. Naya's brown skin has an ashy, pale undertone to it. Her face is blemish free and smooth, and she rarely wears makeup beyond adding some flair to her green, green eyes. She has a narrow nose and full lips to match her father's. Her natural hair is long and fashioned into dreadlocks, occasionally decorated with gold or silver bands. Naya stands tall for a girl at 5'8", and she is lean in figure. She tends to dress in dark and neutral colors such as deep green, creating a loosely goth style. 

Personality: Naya comes off as rather intimidating: she stands tall and has intense, glaring eyes. Her lips are often set in a tight frown, creating a "resting bitch face." She is difficult to approach, and she is well aware of it, often playing it up. However, she has grown insecure since coming to the school. She has grown to be unlikeable among her peers, and she is stuck between wallowing in self pity and being stubborn and owning it. Past the issues, however, she has a great sense of humor and a sharp wit. She is introverted, for sure, but tends to express that by creating her own stimulation in the environment. When it comes to school work specifically, she can be surprisingly focused and a hard worker. Art and photography classes have given her some outlet for her angst and creativity, though her pieces are often morbid and dark.

Abilities: Naya is strong not only for a demigod, but among minor gods as well. She is well aware of her power, but doesn't seem interested in using it to further any one side's ambitions. She enjoys shaking things up as needed, though.
• Shadow mimicry & control: Naya can take on a smoky and intangible form. It is difficult for her control, so she rarely extends this ability to her entire body. She can also manipulate the shadows around her. However, she cannot give them physical forms. 
• Night vision: she can see extremely well in the dark, and it is no deterrent to her. In fact, it seems that she can see better in the dark than she can in the light. She dislikes lit places in general, and she is sensitive to the light.
• Invisibility: Naya can manipulate the darkness around her to make herself unseen. It is not a perfect ability, however, and it is more an illusion than it is true invisibility. Fellow demigods are likely to see through it.

Short Bio: Naya was born into her father's care in the French countryside. One of her mother's many children, she didn't receive any special care from the Goddess of Night, but her father was at least aware of her godly nature. He raised her carefully, perhaps a little fearful of her potential as the years continued on and that godly nature proved to rather dark and untamable. She grew up in France, making trouble for other school children and rarely taking the blame for it. Her father was well aware of this, though, even if she played it as if she were innocent. 

As a result, all through her primary education years, he would return to the place had met her mother everyday. He needed help, but he had no way to contact an ancient goddess. At the end of her last day of primary school, he nearly gave up, but Nyx appeared to him. She was the one who suggested Olympus Academy, but she refused to meet her own daughter face to face. Needless to say, Naya was sent to the prestigious school.

She has been attending the school since freshman year, and she is a known trouble maker. The tricks that she had been able to get away with among humans do not pass so easily among demigods and immortal professors equipped with a deep understanding them. So, maybe unlike her father had hoped, the harmless pranks have been replaced with biting cruelty and impatience--but just not enough to get herself in trouble. In general, she has grown rather unlikeable to other students. Once she graduates, she intends on continuing her schooling in the world of art, but doesn't seem to have a clear sense of direction. 

Extra: • Naya is left handed & gay
• If she were a DND character, chaotic neutral would be her alignment
• Her favorite color is deep purple
• Her favorite medium for art is charcoal, but she is best with photography
• She is a bit of an insomniac, wide awake and full of energy when the sun is down but rather fatigued during the day

Didn't you already ask me about this? I mean this isn't exactly something I like talking about. Fine, I'm a freak ok? I like to keep to myself and daydream. I prefer to be at the very back of a classroom and won't answer any questions the teacher might send my way. I'm new to the school and I'm happy about that, I just wish I could go back to my previous life. I'm not a very good guy when it comes to making friends though I'm really loyal once you break past my outer shell. It's hard to trust people but I really just want to be a normal kid and have some fun. It'll never happen but a boy can dream right? I guess I don't make it any easier for people to talk to me but really I'm just socially inept.

*I have a sort of blank stare going on most of the time.
*I don't trust easily, and am -very- defensive...
*I will flinch and strike out if you try and touch me, unless I'm aware and give permission.
*When I sleep I sleep like the dead and nothing can wake me. Like really, nothing. It's almost like a coma or something.
*My nightmares are real and they will spread to whoever is around me. Luckily my father has been teaching me how to deal with these so they only affect me, but I don't have full control yet.
*I will get night terrors and they will cause me to lose control of my body. Yes I thrash and can scream, and other things. I can't help it though, so lucky me. I'm trying hard to work on this.

My mom is a ER Doctor in Chicago while my dad is the great and powerful God of Sleep. I was told by him that I have half siblings and a lot of cousins, aunts, and uncles from his own brothers and sisters.

So, what's your story?

|| BIOGRAPHY ||
This isn't exactly a fun story but I'll tell it nonetheless if that's what you guys want. I was born in some random hospital in Chicago to my mom who I mentioned already. But I didn't mention Charles my stepdad, the monster. Everything was fine honestly up until I was 6, something changed then. I'm still not sure what it was to this day but something changed and Charles whom I considered my father started getting much more physical with me. We had never been a really touchy feely family before but he found any excuse to have me on his lap. Anyway, you can guess the rest and I won't repeat it so don't ask. That was until I turned 11, and he lost interest. Thank the gods right? No, he started the beatings then. I suppose my mom realized what was going on by that point and got a hold of Hypnos my father some how because the God showed up the next night. He obliterated Charles and forced him to confess to everything before making him kill himself in front of me. 

I think you're supposed to be traumatized by seeing death that early but I felt nothing but relief and thankfulness. I was a mess and my father took me to an island off the coast of Greece where he and my extended family started helping me heal. For years I was still unstable but now that I'm 13 I suppose I won't kill anyone so dad decided to send me to the Olympus Academy. He said I had quite a few cousins there that would watch out for me, whatever that meant. I have no idea of any of the political games and don't care, I'm brand new and just hope I won't be sick on my first day.

Naya is the first point of contact for Ashton when he arrived at the school, the one his father instructed him to find. He hoped she wasn't to upset with having to show him around.

That is a worrying thing; if they don't come back I have a plot line for a similar type of role play; though it's an actual plot and a little less slice-of-life.
